There was a part of Ben that had thought that things might settle down a little now that he and Jed were in college and were living together but the last week had definitely been an eventful one. Ben had always known that sooner or later time would become an issue for them since he was immortal and Jed wasn't but he had honestly hoped that they would have years together before they would have to worry about that. Ben had done his best to make peace with the fact that Jed was mortal and he had known that they could live a long and happy life together regardless. As it was the future had been playing on Jed's mind a lot lately it seemed and he had decided that he wanted to become a hybrid. Ben knew that he was only one of the reasons that had factored into that decision but just the fact that he was one of the reasons Jed wanted to make that decision meant more to him that he could ever put into words. He felt like he had been searching for Jed his whole life and even though he knew there was a chance that Jed could still end up leaving him behind one day this was still their best chance and Ben knew that he wanted to take it. He and Jed had talked about it at length and Ben knew that Jed had thought it through before making his decision. His mind was made up and Ric and Jenna had given their blessing which was something that Ben had hoped would happen. He knew he didn't want to do anything to pull their family apart but he has known that this decision could end up doing that. Thankfully they seemed to have understood and neither of Jed's parents seemed to be looking at either of them differently so he honestly hoped it would stay that way when Jed did become a hybrid. As it was there was something that Ben wanted to ask Jed first. He knew that they had been together for less than a year but he could also feel that Jed was the person he was meant to be with, the person he was always meant to find. It didn't feel right that Jed was willing to change his whole life for him without asking for anything in return and that was why Ben had ended up at the Saltzman house that day. He and Jed had talked about getting married one day and even though some might think that it was too soon, Ben knew that there really wasn't any time like the present to ask even if they didn't end up getting married right away. He had picked out a ring he hoped Jed would like, one that was nestled in his pocket at he moment, and even though he was nervous as he knocked on the door to the house he knew that this was what he wanted. Jed hadn't asked for anything in return but Ben knew that in a way by making the decision to become a hybrid Jed was showing how committed he was to their relationship and Ben wanted to do the same thing in return but he wanted Ric and Jenna's blessing first. Seeing Toni and Ethan again had reminded him of just how easy it was to lose that once in a lifetime love and even though they had been lucky enough to get a second chance at it, Ben knew that he didn't want to take any chances. It was only as the door opened that Ben snapped out of his thoughts and his eyes met Ric's. “Hi Ric, it’s good to see you,” he said sincerely. As Ric asked if Jed was with him, Ben shook his head. “No, it’s just me today. He doesn’t know I’m here actually, there’s something that I wanted to talk to you and Jenna about,” he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck nervously as he stepped inside the house when Ric let him in and closed the door behind him. As Ric said that sounded ominous, Ben couldn’t help but laugh. “It isn’t, I promise. Everything is fine,” Ben assured him. “I hope you’ll think my being here is a good thing,” he admitted, heading into the living room and sitting down as he waited for Ric to return with Jenna. Days at home were rare these days it seemed and Ric knew to make the most of them while he had the chance. It was made better by the fact that he and Jenna had the day off together since they’d been able to relax at home and enjoy spending some time together but he couldn’t deny that it was quite without the kids around. Jed had moved out and since then things had changed at home but Ric knew that that was to be expected. He and Jenna might want to keep the kids at home forever but at the end of the day they were all going to want to live their own lives sooner or later and that was something that they had to accept. They had the school to keep them busy and even after the kids all moved out they were going to still have each other and Ric knew that that wasn’t a bad thing. He had already had one chance at happiness ripped away from him when Isobel left but even though the pain had been unbearable for a while, in the end it had made him stronger and Jenna had helped open his heart again. Without her Ric knew that he would have remained the cynical, hardened vampire hunter that he had become after Isobel left but now he was a better version of himself and he knew that it was thanks to Jenna as well as the family and friends he now had in Mystic Falls. That day he and Jenna had been relaxing around the house together but as lunchtime hit she made her way to the kitchen to make them something to eat and Ric made his way to the door as he heard he heard someone knock on it. "Hi Ben, this is a nice surprise. Is Jed with you?" Ric asked as he stepped aside to let him in. “Come on in, son.” He was a little surprised when Ben said that he was on his own that day and Jed didn’t know he was there. “That sounds ominous. Is everything okay?” he asked, hoping that there wasn’t something wrong. Of course it was fine for Ben to stop by alone but this was the first time it had happened so Ric couldn’t deny that he was curious as to the reason. Nodding as Ben said that everything was fine, Ric offered him a smile. “I’m sure we will. Have a seat and I’ll go get Jenna,” he said before making his way through to the living room. “Babe, Ben is here and he said he wants to talk to us both. Do you have time?”JENNA SALTZMAN

– don't be afraid to love, to be vulnerable –
Jenna had been working on school papers for quite some time now, reading papers and signing a few that needed her signature to be moved onto the next step. She paused when she heard a knock on the door and before she could get up and answer the door, she heard footsteps approaching the door and it was safe to assume that Ric was on his way to answer the door. She went back to what she was doing but stopped when Ric's footsteps neared where she was, his words making her pause as she tilted her head slightly. Jenna was pretty surprised to hear Ric mention Ben and it was apparent in her expression as her brows shot up. "What a nice surprise," she said as she pushed herself up, putting down her glasses and the papers she'd been reading before she nodded her head. "Yeah, 'course." Jenna agreed, all too eager to put the papers down. She really didn't have a feeling that it was regarding something bad. They say that mothers feel that type of thing, don't they? Well, deep down, it didn't feel like there were bad news waiting to be told. So she was definitely curious as to what Ben wanted to talk to them about.
Jenna made her way with Ric to where Ben was, her lips stretching into a gentle smile at the sight of him. He was on his own without Jed which only managed to pique her curiosity some more. "Hey, sweetheart." Jenna greeted as she neared Ben to give him a quick hug before she pulled away and moved to sit down. "Ric said you wanted to talk to us about something?" Jenna questioned, unable to hold back her curiosity for long as she kept her eyes focused on Ben.

Ben really couldn’t remember a time when he was this nervous before. He knew that it would be even worse when he spoke to Jed because they had talked about getting married before but Ben knew that there was a chance that Jed might think that it was too soon. He still wanted to ask, though, but before he did that he wanted to make sure that he had Jenna and Ric’s blessing. They meant the world to Jed and they meant a lot to him as well so he knew that he needed to make sure that he had their support before asking Jed. They had already had to get their heads around so much over the last few months, they’d had to deal with Jed dying when the dragon attacked and then Josie and Hope waking up in transition after his father decided to take matters into his own hands. Since then they’d also had to deal with Jed moving out and Ben knew that that was a lot for anyone to have to come to terms with. Truth be told a part of him felt bad for adding to it but he knew that he would regret it if he didn’t. He hadn’t told Jed that he was going to stop by the house that day, he wanted to keep it as a surprise for his boyfriend and if he was honest Ben wasn’t sure that he wanted the humiliation of telling Jed first only to end up having his parents say no. Ben hoped that they wouldn’t but he hadn’t done anything like this before so he really was nervous. He had been alive for such a long time and during that time he’d had one night stands but that was it. Jed was the first guy since Ashur that he’d wanted something more with and now that Jed was willing to take such a huge step so that they could stay together, Ben knew that he wanted to do something to show that he was just as committed to their relationship. That was why he had decided to go and see Jenna and Ric that day and it wasn’t long before Ben was left alone in the living room while Ric went to go and get Jenna. Ben could already feel that his palms were sweating and it almost felt like the ring he had bought was burning a hole in his pocket. He knew that it was perhaps a little presumptuous to have gone out and bought one already but the moment he had seen it he had known that it was perfect so he hadn’t been able to resist. It wasn’t long before Ric returned with Jenna and Ben felt a smile touch his lips as he got to his feet and hugged her before sitting back down. “Hey Jenna,” he said, already feeling his nerves start to subside a little now that they were both there. Ben knew that they might both think that it was too soon but they already knew how he and Jed felt about each other so he hoped that they would be supportive about this just like they had been about everything else. “Yeah, I do,” he nodded as Jenna said that Ric had told her he wanted to talk to them about something. “I’m really not sure how this is supposed to go so I’m just going to say it,” he said before he took a deep breath to steady himself. “You already know how much Jed means to me and I know he feels the same. I’ve spent such a long time searching for him and he’s ready to become a hybrid so we can have a proper future together without time coming between us. He’s showed how committed he is to our relationship and I want to do the same,” he said, his eyes locked on theirs as he spoke. “I’d like to ask Jed to marry me but I wanted to speak to you both and ask for your blessing first,” he said at last, trying to gauge their reactions as he waited for their answer. Ric was used to people coming and going from the house by now, each of the kids stopped by whenever they wanted to and Josie and Hope seemed to spend time at each other’s places as well but one thing he hadn’t expected was for Ben to decide to pay them a visit on his own. They had made sure that he knew he was always welcome in their home and that was still true now whether Jed was with him at that moment in time or not. It was still a surprise, though, and Ric knew that there had to be a reason for it especially when Ben said that Jed didn’t know that he was there that day. Keeping secrets from someone you loved wasn’t normally a good idea but something told Ric that Ben had a good reason for it so he hoped that this would be one of the exceptions to that particular rule. Once Ben was settled in the living room Ric sought out Jenna and he offered his wife a smile as she said that Ben being there was a nice surprise. “It is. He’s being a little cryptic but I don’t think there’s anything bad going on,” he offered, certain that Ben would have said something if there was. If anything he had seemed a little nervous and that alone was enough to pique Ric’s interest but he hadn’t wanted to question it and put him on the spot just yet. Nodding as Jenna confirmed that she had time to talk to him, Ric took her hand in his and led her to where he had left Ben waiting for them. Watching the two of them hug was enough to bring a smile to Ric’s face and he sat down next to Jenna with her hand still clasped in his. “It’s okay, whatever it is you can talk to us,” Ric assured him as Ben said that he wasn’t sure how this was supposed to go so he was just going to say it. He wasn’t quite sure what he had expected but as Ben said that he wanted their blessing to ask Jed to marry him, Ric was quiet for a moment. “You really do love him, don’t you?” Ric asked at last as he looked over at Ben, not surprised at all when Ben nodded. “I do. He’s my missing piece,” he said and this time it was Ric’s turn to nod. “What do you think, shall we put Ben out of his misery?” Ric asked Jenna as he gave her hand a gentle squeeze, already knowing his answer but wanting to make sure that Jenna had the chance to answer first. "Huh..." Jenna trailed off, unable to deny that her curiosity was now burning brighter than ever before. She was definitely curious as to what it was that Ben wanted to talk to them about. But she knew that there was only one way to know for sure, so she began making her way over to where Ben was with Ric's hand in her own. She greeted him with a hug before she sat down. "Ric's right. We'll listen, sweetheart." Jenna assured with a gentle smile resting on her lips. She had a feeling, but it would be better not to let her hopes up so she doesn't get disappointed or anything like that, so for now, she just waited for Ben. He seemed nervous and she can't remember when was the last time she'd seen him look that way, so whatever he wanted to talk to them about must be a big thing if it got him feeling that way. Either way, she gave him the chance to talk to them about it.
Jenna's expression shifted into one of surprise that lasted for a few moments before she felt a gentle smile begin to tug at the corners of her lips. She was right, after all. Jenna couldn't even begin to describe how happy she was to hear that. Jenna could tell that the boys were happy with each other. They cared a lot about one another and it showed.
Jenna's eyes shifted back to Ric as she nodded her head, her smile still evident on her lips. "Every parent's ultimate goal is to see their kid happy and from the moment you entered Jed's life you've made him really happy. It's like you found Jed's last missing piece that he's been looking for to complete his happiness or his life, even. It's not just Jed's happiness that matter to us in this equation. Yours matter, too, sweetheart. He makes you happy. That's all we've ever wanted for you both." Jenna nodded her head, her smile resting on her lips. "To make my answer short, you've got our blessing, sweetheart."

Ben knew that the fact that he was going to see Jenna and Ric without Jed was sure to tip them off that something was up but he honestly hoped that they would be happy with what he wanted to ask them. He knew how much they loved Jed and they wanted him to be happy but so much had been thrown at them during their time together already and Ben wasn’t sure how they were going to react to this one. They had been so supportive of their relationship and that was something that he hadn’t expected to begin with. He had thought that they would want to keep him as far away from Jed as possible given the curse he carried with him but they had welcomed him into their family and he really was grateful to them for that. They had made it so easy for him and Jed to find their feet as a couple and that was something that was important to Ben. He had known that it was a big deal for Jed considering that he had only just accepted that he liked guys and the truth was that it was a big deal for Ben as well. He hadn’t been with anyone seriously since Ash died but he knew that he had found the right guy in Jed and he was looking forward to their future together. As soon as the words left his lips Ben felt like a weight had been lifted but then he was left waiting to hear whether they would give their blessing or not. It was terrifying to say the least and hearing Ric ask if they should put him out of his misery really didn’t help. “Thanks for that,” Ben chuckled, rolling his eyes playfully. He really was nervous but as Jenna nodded and started speaking, Ben felt his heart flutter in his chest. They both seemed to completely understand their relationship and that meant the world to him. It was clear how much they cared about him as well and Ben really was grateful. He wasn’t used to having people who felt that way about him but he had definitely found that in Mystic Falls. “He did the same for me. My life wasn’t complete until I met him,” he nodded before his breath caught in his throat as Jenna said that he had their blessing. “Thank you,” he said sincerely, quickly blinking away the tears that formed in his eyes. “This means the world to both of us. Jed has no idea I want to ask him now but we have talked about it and we know this is something we both want,” he added gently. He had never even thought about getting married until he met Jed but now it was something that had been on his mind for a while. “It means so much that you want me to be happy as well. You guys mean a lot to both of us and it wouldn’t feel right asking him without asking you for your blessing first.”JENNA SALTZMAN

“Yep. I’m curious too,” Ric admitted. He suspected he knew what it was that Ben wanted to talk to them about that had resulted in his surprise visit alone but he didn’t want to jump to conclusions. There always seemed to be so much going on these days but Ric knew that the fact that he wanted his family to be happy was never going to change and that included Ben and Hope as well. Ric had come so close to never having a family like this and now that he had it he knew that he wanted to make the most of it. Josie had already become a heretic and Jed wanted to become a hybrid so it was all such a lot to take in. There was a part of Ric that wondered whether Lizzie would decide to follow in their footsteps one day but he knew that they would cross that bridge when they came to it. For now Ric knew that he just wanted to take it one step at a time and right now that meant making sure that everything was alright for Jed. It was a comfort having Jenna’s hand in his while they waited to find out what it was that Ben wanted to talk to them about and he nodded as Jenna said that Ben could talk to them. No matter what it was that was on his mind Ric knew that they would listen and if he needed to talk then they would be there for him. When he finally spoke up, Ric had to work to stop a smile from forming on his face. He had needed to ask the question but he had already known the answer to it and Ben simply confirmed it when he said that Jed was his missing piece. That was clear by looking at the two of them together but it was still good to hear it because Ric wanted nothing more than for his son to be happy, and Ben too. They had both been through so much and he was so glad that they had found each other. “Jenna’s right, all we want is for Jed to be happy and we want that for you too. It might sound strange all things considered but we consider you our son too,” he said, knowing that that was something that he and Jenna had in common. “We knew this was going to happen sooner or later, I’m actually a little surprised it has taken this long,” he added with a smile. “Of course you have our blessing, how could we not when we know how far Jed is willing to go to be with you?”JENNA SALTZMAN

Jenna felt a gentle smile form on her lips as she listened to Ben. "Then you guys are perfect for each other already. The second someone has the power to change your life into something better then they're already a pretty good match for you in my opinion." Jenna spoke from her heart, her expression remaining soft as she spoke. "You're welcome, sweetheart." Jenna replied with the same sincerity visible in the tone of her voice, her expression softening even more at the sight of tears in Ben's eyes. She was happy to have given him the answer he wanted to hear. Jenna released a soft hum, at least now she knew they had talked about it before so it won't be a total surprise for the younger. Either way, she was happy for both of them. "A part of me wondered when you guys were going to take that step but then again, I knew that rushing into something like this is not something one should do. It's not just about the ring on your finger. It's about way more than that in my opinion. I have seen for myself that you and Jed are ready for this next big step. I'm happy for you, boys. I already know that you two love each other and that's more than enough." Jenna said with a gentle smile on her lips. "Even though you aren't related to us by blood and neither is Jed, you both are family to us." Jenna offered gently.
"Of course. Ric's right. We've seen that the second he came to ask us for permission to become a hybrid. Well then, now you have our blessing. I hope you guys have wonderful days ahead."

“I couldn’t agree with you more. I’ve seen a lot of couples that were meant to be together before but I never thought I would find that myself until Jed came along.” Ben couldn’t help but feel like he had literally waited his whole life for Jed to come along and now that he had, Ben knew that he wanted to make the most of every moment of their time together. This was the kind of life that had always seemed to be so far beyond his reach but everything had changed when he had arrived in Mystic Falls and Ben couldn’t help but feel glad about that now. Ben wasn’t used to getting emotional like this but learning that they were happy to give their blessing for him to propose to Jed really did mean the world to him. He knew that getting married one day was something that Jed wanted as well and even though they hadn’t talked about it happening this soon, Ben now just hoped that he would say yes as well. As Ric said he was surprised it had taken them this long and Jenna said she had wondered when they would get engaged as well, Ben couldn’t help but laugh and he rubbed the back of his neck. “We’re really that bad?” he chuckled, shaking his head in amusement as Ric nodded. “You’re in love, it’s to be expected,” he grinned. “I did wonder if you might think it’s too soon but even though we’ve been together for less than a year it feels like he has always been a part of me,” he admitted. That was something that Ben was always going to believe, for such a long time he had been searching for something more than a way to break his curse and he hadn’t even realised it. “Thank you, I appreciate that and I know Jed does too. I consider you all my family as well,” Ben said gently. He really was grateful to them for welcoming him into their family just like they had done with Jed. They could have easily wanted to keep their distance from him while his curse was in effect but they hadn’t done, they had let him in anyway and he knew that he wasn’t going to take that for granted. Family didn’t end with blood, Ben’s family had died such a long time ago but he had found a new family in Mystic Falls not just with the Saltzmans but with the Squad and Toni and Ethan as well. Mystic Falls had ended up being full of surprises for Ben and he was glad about that. As Jenna spoke again, Ben felt a smile touch his lips. “We will, I can’t wait to ask him.”JENNA SALTZMAN

Jenna was quiet as she listened to Ben, nodding her head slowly to showcase that she understood what he meant. Jenna has had her fair share of terrible ex boyfriends and for a while, she thought she was doomed to either be in a bad relationship where each party was just sucking the life source out of the other or single with the risk of simply dying alone without being given the chance to start a family of her own. But it all changed when she met Alaric. It was all just a matter of waiting and not giving up. Jenna let out a soft chuckle. "I wouldn't say bad, no." Jenna said with a smile resting on her lips long after her laughter had died down. She hummed in agreement with Ric when he said that it was to be expected because they were in love. They do that love makes you do things you never thought you'd do. Seems like they weren't joking about that part.
"If you two are in love, and you're happy with each other and ready to move on to the next step, then I don't think its too soon. Some people get married in their thirties, others get married either in early twenties or late twenties. That's only a couple of examples. It all depends on finding the right one and being ready." Jenna said with a nod of her head following.
"Of course." Jenna replied. She saw Ben as a member of the family, too. Jed wasn't related to them by blood, but that didn't make Jenna love him any less. Or see him any different. He was her son. "Aww." Jenna's lips stretched into a gentle smile. "How about a celebratory drink for this special occasion? What are you guys in the mood for?" She had a feeling she already knew Jed's answer, so they might as well celebrate in advance.

Until Jed came along, Ben had never thought that he would be able to connect with anyone longer than for one night. It had been easier to stick to just having one night stands rather than risk having someone get hurt because of him but it had made for an incredibly lonely life. He’d made some friends during the war but back then it had been easy to hide what was going on with him with the war raging on around him. Since then he’d kept on the move and he’d hoped to find a way to break his curse while he was in Mystic Falls but in the end he had found so much more. “I guess that’s a good thing at least,” Ben chuckled as Jenna said that they weren’t bad. Ben knew that Ric was right, it was to be expected since they were in love. He had never thought that he would find that and it was something that he knew that he didn’t want to take for granted. Jed had changed everything for him and he knew that was to be expected. “I’m glad you think so,” he said sincerely as Jenna said she didn’t think that it was too soon. “I know Jed is still a teenager but he’s the one and I’ve lost enough people to know not to waste any time,” he added. Whether or not they would get married straight away if Jed said yes now was something that they would need to figure out but Ben knew that they would do that together. Right now he knew that he wanted to just take it one step at a time and the first step was proposing to Jed and hoping that he was going to say yes. Ben had hoped that Jenna and Ric would say yes when he asked them but the fact that they had done still meant the world to him. They were family to both him and Jed and he knew that it wouldn’t have felt right asking without getting their blessing first. “I’m definitely up for that. Whatever you have is fine with me,” Ben offered, knowing that he really wasn’t picky. Just the fact that Jenna wanted to celebrate now was enough to make him think that she believed that Jed would say yes and he hoped she was right. “I’m up for anything as well. What are you in the mood for babe?” Ric asked, knowing that they had a few different things to choose from. JENNA SALTZMAN

– don't be afraid to love, to be vulnerable –
Jenna chuckled and nodded her head in agreement. It was definitely a good thing. Honestly, whether it was too soon or not, it wasn't really Jenna's place to say, only Jed would have the ability to choose that for himself. Either way, Jenna was going to support her boys wholeheartedly. Her expression softened at Ben's words before she nodded her head in an understanding manner. Time had a tendency to sneak up on you and if you don't act quick, it could take a lot of things away from you. Jenna was really happy for the boys and she had a feeling she already knew Jed's answer, so she proposed the idea of having a celebratory drink.
"Making me choose as always, I see." Jenna said with a half-smile resting on her lips before she pushed herself up. "I have something in mind." Jenna walked away momentarily, disappearing in the kitchen for a few moments before emerging with a bottle of champagne in hand. "Might as well go a little fancy and embrace the celebratory spirit." Jenna popped the bottle open and poured each one of them a drink before resting the bottle on the table. She handed each one the drink before taking her own. "Here's to happy new beginnings and delightful memories ahead." Jenna raised her drink in a cheers gesture, her smile visible on her lips.

Ben hadn't known how the chat with Jenna and Ric was going to go but the truth was that it had ended up going much better than he ever could have imagined. They hadn't hesitated in giving him their blessing and now Ben knew that next he would have to ask the most important person in his life. He knew that there was a chance that Jed might say he wasn't ready yet so they might well be celebrating prematurely but Ben was still hopeful that he would say yes. He knew how much Jed loved him and Jed was willing to become a hybrid so that they could be together and that was a massive step to be willing to take. He had already showed that he was committed to the two of them being together and Ben knew that he wanted to do the same thing. There wasn't a way for him to give up his immortality for Jed but asking Jed to marry him was the best way he knew to show that he wasn't going anywhere and it was something that he wanted more than he was willing to admit right now. "It's safer than making the wrong choice," Ric teased, causing an amused smile to form on Ben's face as he watched the two of them together. It was clear just how much they loved each other and Ben knew that they were meant to be together just like he and Jed were. It wasn't always easy finding that one special person but they had found each other in the end and he really was glad about that. Ben's expression turned to one of curiosity as Jenna said that she had something in mind. "You do?" he asked as she made her way into the kitchen only to return a few moments later with a bottle of champagne. "Now I really do hope Jed says yes so this doesn't go to waste," Ben chuckled. He knew that he would understand if Jed said he wasn't ready yet but he hoped that wouldn't happen. Thanking Jenna as he took the glass from her, Ben raised his and felt his smile return at her words. "Cheers to that and to families coming in all shapes and sizes," he said, his smile widening as he took a sip. JENNA SALTZMAN

Jenna chuckled. "There are no wrong choices in my book." She added a moment later. Truth be told, she'd drink anything, really. Just as long as they enjoyed it in the celebrative mood. They could have beer and she wouldn't have complained in the slightest. But, since the decision was placed upon her shoulders, she decided to go all fancy with the champagne. An early celebration. "Oh, well, if he says no, then consider this a drink to celebrate your bravery. You asked a question that scares most people. I call that a win, too." Jenna shrugged her shoulders. She had a feeling that the question itself was the hardest step. The uncertainty of the other party's reaction and answer. Especially if you're also gonna be asking their parents. You'd find yourself too worried about their reactions and how they might perceive the question. But, at least Ben got over the first step and now what was left was asking Jed to see what his answer was going to be. But Jenna had a feeling she already knew what her boy's reaction was going to be. But who knows, maybe Jed's answer will be different. Either way, they will know for sure once Ben asks Jed. Though either way, she still wanted them to have a celebratory drink to celebrate the occasion and Ben's bravery.
With the celebratory cheer done, Jenna clinked glasses and moved the glass to her lips to take a sip, enjoying the aftertaste of champagne as she savored it for a moment or two. She leaned back in her seat. "Mmm. This is really good." Jenna spoke up before taking yet another sip then she lowered her drink down and let it rest on the table for a moment, her legs crossed as she leaned back on her seat. "So, when are you planning on asking Jed?" Jenna questioned with her curiosity still visible in the tone of her voice.
