I imagine she would probably need to have been in Mystic Falls on and off during that time to avoid drawing the attention of the Founder's Council but Ric would keep tabs on her regardless. He only hunts creatures that are a danger to others so he probably would have seen that Aurelie is just trying to live her life in peace and he would be quite happy to let her do that. How does she feed - does she use the snatch, eat, erase method or does she drink from blood bags or animals instead?

Alright, that works. Since she would have probably killed the guy a long time ago and she is on the straight and narrow now Ric wouldn't have a problem with her. Other than a random meeting for them I don't really have anything in mind either so we can do that if you like or we can keep trying to think of something, it is completely up to you.

I couldn't make a hunter/former hunter and not throw them at Ric.  I imagine Ric got himself a decent reputation as a hunter in the time that he was trying to track Damon down. Alix and Ric might not've crossed paths before but with Alix hunting in the area unwillingly now she would've taken the time to check out those who are around town. Ric would probably seem like the type she could trust and with Matt being one of the victims of the Dread Doctors she could have approached Ric for information or to offer some up to him to try and help Matt out in any way she could. Sorry, I didn't realise you had posted here! I don't think Ric would be able to get Simba to make something so I would probably say that the second option is more likely, he knows that there are a lot of vampires and werecreatures in town who just want to blend in so he probably wouldn't be too surprised by his not fighting back but he would want to make sure that Simba isn't a threat to anyone in town. He did build up a decent reputation, yeah, so having her reach out would definitely work. At the moment none of them know who is responsible for the change in Matt or how it has happened, they just know that he is different to the way he was before and through the Beacon Hills gang they know that something similar has happened to Derek too so it would be good to have someone tip them off about who is responsible even if the exact details of what they are trying to do isn't known by anyone yet. Awesome. Alix would definitely be looking to keep up the hunter network even if she didn't want any of them to poke too closely into who she now is and what she's doing in town. That would totally work, Alix could offer up what little information she knows about the Dread Doctors and what they do to young people.
