ALARIC SALTZMAN: Either would do. But if Ric is hunting in the woods, Kiba would more likely be bumping into trees. He does drink sociable as well. Also the missing student thing is possible as he excellent tracker. Though the hunt one in the woods be funnier I feel. If you feel this one is good, there is a open thread in the woods, you can come in. Otherwise I can make a new one for them, I don't mind either way.

We lost one, but we shall plot again! xP I was thinking for a thread maybe Alaric comes over to see Damon, Damon could briefly mention to Skylar his 'hunter buddy' is coming over. Damon then pops out for a bit and that's when Alaric shows up, Skye answers the door and is like "Mr. Saltzman, you're Damon's hunter buddy?" Student learns teacher's secret and he could possibly learn hers, or if Damon has mentioned the little vampire Stefan invited to stay there Alaric could piece it together himself xP If you've another idea let me know! |

No, I like that idea! Since Skye has been there on and off for over a year now I would imagine that Ric would have been told that there was someone else living there even if he wasn't given Skye's name or didn't realise that it was the Skye that might have been in one of his classes. Likewise his name probably would have been mentioned around the Boarding House a few times but since his name is actually Alaric she might not have realised who they were talking about if that works? @helena
I really like the idea of these two being friends if they aren't already, Ric could use some friends his own age and since he has just learned that he is a father I imagine he could do with a bit of advice from someone who has been through becoming one suddenly too. Having it that Adam was in one of his classes works and if they ever had faculty dinners or something like that then they could have gotten to know each other more that way too.

Really late but yes, a thread between these two would be fun. We could do a thread for the two of them at Mystic Falls High set before Ric opened up the Salvatore School if you like since the thread with Henrik was started a while ago now or Violet could always show up at the new school wanting to take part in the night or weekend classes to learn control, it is up to you!

Ric would definitely want Ryan at the Salvatore School so he can carry on looking out for him, yes. I imagine he would try and help him be better the same way that he did for Jeremy in the show. I like the idea of something happening with his powers at Mystic Falls High before he leaves or we could do something away from there where Ric sees his powers, or we could even say that Ric reached out to Ryan when he and Jenna started setting up the school and offered him a place straight away if you like. Since Henrik brought Jeremy and the others back and Ric has worked alongside Ben before he would know who the Special Children are and would want to try and help as many of them as he can. Whichever way you want to go works for me!

That works for me, yeah. Ric probably would have noticed before he left Mystic Falls High to set up the Salvatore School if it has been going on for a while and I could see him asking a friend of his that works there to keep an eye out for Ryan for him so perhaps they could have reported back to say that he is still skipping school and Ric could reach out from there?
