THE STORY... THENWith the town still reeling from the devastating revelations brought to light by the use of the Gilbert device together with the death of the Mayor, the supernatural residents of Mystic Falls are trying harder than ever to keep the truth about themselves a secret. Stefan and Damon are trying to live their lives normally while Caroline remains in hospital and Katherine’s arrival in town is bound to have dire consequences for all. Katherine is not the only threat rumoured to be nearby, whispers of an Original family of vampires have reached the ears of those in Mystic Falls with one of them in particular searching for a moon stone as well as the sole human doppelganger of the Petrova line which is bound to change the lives of all those involved.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Elena and the others are also about to have some supernatural company in their town for their junior year. The Winchester brothers, notorious hunters whose names are enough to strike fear into even the most fearsome of foes, have finally been reunited after Sam found a way to cure Dean from being a Knight of Hell. While Sam finally had his brother back, the Mark of Cain remained, however, and the brothers are still trying to find a way to combat its effects on Dean and rid him of it once and for all.
That doesn’t mean they have stopped hunting, however. Upon burying themselves in various cases the brothers found themselves in Beacon Hills hunting a demon who was making deals with unsuspecting victims in return for human and supernatural souls. The reason for these deals still remains unknown but before the brothers were able to exorcise the demon and save the still living host body it inhabited, the demon managed to smoke out and immediately fell back to Plan B, taking control of the body of the newly resurrected Allison Argent who was brought back to life as part of a deal made with a fallen angel in exchange for the return of the human charge he had fallen in love with. The demon controlling Alison wreaked havoc in Beacon Hills, devastating the already heartbroken friends she had left behind when she died a few months before following the battle with the Oni, before travelling the country to start over in Mystic Falls. The reason for this choice remains unknown but both Scott McCall and his friends from Beacon Hills as well as the Winchester brothers have all converged on Mystic Falls, Scott in the hope of saving the girl he loves from a fate worse than death and the Winchesters determined to finish the job they started.
Sinister forces are at work in Mystic Falls and it is only a matter of time before the truth comes to light and lives are changed forever. With so many dangerous liaisons right around the corner, devastation is sure to follow. |

THE STORY... THENNo event in Mystic Falls would be complete without drama and the carnival certainly didn’t disappoint. Organised by the demon, Myra, in order to collect the last remaining souls she needed, her mission was finally revealed. In exchange for handing over enough human and supernatural souls to Rowena her employer, Cain, was finally able to get back what he had been wanting ever since it was taken from him – the Mark of Cain. With Dean Winchester still guilt ridden but no longer under its influence the Winchester brothers and the newest addition to their family, Dean’s son Ben, are free to do what they do best – saving people, hunting things; the family business.
Little do they know that an old foe has returned with only one goal in mind – to become the new King of Hell. Disappointed by the way she has been treated by Crowley and the Winchesters, Rowena sought to punish the three of them. Having resurrected Azazel using the souls Myra had collected Rowena plans to take everything from Crowley by helping Azazel overthrow her son and hurt the Winchesters in the process so for now they are building an army.
Despite not knowing exactly what was afoot, Crowley had a contingency plan in case a legion of demons wasn't enough this time. It all started with the resurrection of a young woman, a doppelganger to be exact, to win favour with the Mikaelsons. Since then Crowley has been biding his time, waiting for the right moment to try and win the Original Vampires over to his side. In case that didn’t work he had a backup plan, the missing piece from their family – their youngest brother Henrik. Knowing that Henrik’s siblings might need a little more persuasion than the doppelganger alone, Crowley gave him a second chance at life and provided him with the knowledge and training to become a very powerful warlock. Believing his siblings to have died a thousand years ago Henrik was left to do Crowley’s bidding, only recently learning the truth and now finding himself with the choice of whether to reveal himself to his siblings and sway them towards the demon’s cause or let them live their lives in peace for a little while longer.
Following Caroline’s release from the hospital life has gone on as normal in Mystic Falls for Elena and the others, or at least as normal as it can with Katherine around. While her motives for being in town remain a mystery as always she has her own agenda and she will stop at nothing to get what she wants, in this case the freedom she has spent centuries searching for and is now hoping to buy from Klaus. With the Mikaelson family finally in Mystic Falls and Klaus determined to break the curse that was placed on him a thousand years ago, Elena and her friends are in more danger than they could possibly imagine.
As if that wasn't enough strange forces are at work in Mystic Falls, threatening to change the way the supernatural world is seen forever. The mysterious transformation of Derek Hale from a werewolf into a shapeshifter was only the tip of the iceberg, now someone very dear to Elena and the others is about to find that things aren’t always as they seem. The rules are changing and someone is about to pay the price.
With Allison finally released from Myra’s clutches, the young huntress is left to come to terms with all of the things Myra did while in control of her body. Having already decided to stay in Mystic Falls and see out the rest of their high school education in Mystic Falls things are finally starting to settle down. With one crisis over, Scott and his friends are left to finally focus all of their attention on figuring out what happened to Derek and find a way to return their friend to the way he used to be.
With the very foundation of the supernatural world being shaken to its core and new dangers looming on horizon it is only a matter of time before something has to give. |

THE STORY... THENWeeks have passed since the ritual was completed and Klaus finally broke the curse that was placed on him a thousand years before. During that time he and Stefan, in exchange for Klaus' blood to cure a werewolf bite afflicting his brother Damon, have travelled the country trying to find a way to create hybrids but so far they have been unsuccessful. Forced to turn his humanity off, Stefan returned to Mystic Falls at Klaus' request a shell of the man everyone knew and after a difficult few months he finally flipped the switch and turned his humanity back on. While he was doing that, Klaus was causing waves in New Orleans. Wanting to harness the power of the failed Harvest ritual he kidnapped a young witch named Davina from under the nose of Marcel, the man he always considered to be his son. Now the two have returned to Mystic Falls to try and unlock the secret to creating hybrids albeit unaware of the fact that they will soon be joined by some familiar faces from New Orleans.
Elsewhere in Mystic Falls, those used in the ritual were resurrected by Henrik Mikaelson and Lukas Petrova and life for the sacrifices and their friends has gone on. Their loved ones have been left counting their blessings that their deaths were only temporary but little do they know that people close to them may end up caught in the crossfire once again now that Azazel is beginning to make moves in the town. A break in at the Hale vault in Beacon Hills ended in millions of dollars being taken and Azazel now has all of that money at his disposal. Determined to flush out his Special Children and strengthen their powers as much as possible, a ruthless plan is due to be set in motion which will help him retake Hell once and for all. With Ben Winchester among the Special Children, however, it is only a matter of time before he and the Winchester brothers try and put a stop to it while at the same time investigating the mysterious impossible occurrences of people changing species happening all over Mystic Falls.
With more people than ever learning about the supernatural world right on their doorsteps just how long will it be before the Founder's Council decides to take drastic steps to eradicate the scourge on their town? |

THE STORY... THENEver since he was resurrected by the witch Rowena, Azazel has had just one goal - take over Hell and become the new King. Now Azazel has won the battle and taken the throne for himself, leaving Crowley with no choice but to lick his wounds and come up with a plan to take back what once was his, and only time will tell who will win the war especially now that the Winchesters are back in Mystic Falls having left Ben to keep an eye on things alone for the last few months. So far the news of Azazel's return has eluded all of them but it is only a matter of time before he makes his presence known and the Winchesters will have to decide whether to let Azazel have his way for now or help Crowley take back the throne. Meanwhile the number of Angels left to power Heaven and keep the lights on is at an all time low so desperate times may call for desperate measures to stop their home from collapsing.
Elsewhere in Mystic Falls the Dread Doctors are beginning to step up their game by taking even more people to turn into experiments, including some well known faces. So far they have gone about their business in secret, sticking to the shadows and wiping the memories of those who come into contact with them but very few things stay secret forever. It is only a matter of time before they make a mistake and the truth comes out and that time could be closer than they think. With their ultimate goal of bringing back the Beast of Gevaudan, the Dread Doctors have been taking more and more risks over the last few years, including taking the Immortals Silas and Amara from their prisons and using the magic from the immortality elixir that flows within their veins to make their experiments more successful than ever. They have kept the two of them desiccated and locked away for years, sapping away enough of the magic to result in Silas' powers being severely diminished perhaps even permanently but one mistake could prove costly and result in their freedom. With Marie-Jeanne Valet's resurrection set to bring with it even more questions about the role of the doppelgangers and their convergence in Mystic Falls the Dread Doctors have no choice but to step up their game if their goal is to be achieved. So far all they have achieved in doing so is draw a new werewolf pack to Mystic Falls.
As if that wasn't bad enough Klaus has discovered the key to creating more hybrids just in time for the gang's senior year and news of his triumph has spread, drawing to Mystic Falls a mercenary being paid by the money stolen a few months ago from the Hale vault to kill as many of the supernatural residents in the town as possible.
Right now no one in Mystic Falls is safe and with the fear of the unknown building this might just be the toughest challenge any of the residents have had to face so far and alliances may begin to break. Who ever said senior year would go without a hitch? |

THE STORY... THENIn just a few short months the school year will be coming to an end but life in Mystic Falls is sure never to be the same again. Thanks to an elaborate plot which saw Azazel using the second wave of Special Children he had created as sacrifices to break open the cage that had been Lucifer's prison ever since the Winchester brothers averted the apocalypse a few years ago Lucifer has been freed and he has taken Sam Winchester as his vessel. For the last eight months he has been keeping a low profile as he regroups and figures out just who is still loyal to him and who would like nothing more than to see him trapped in the cage once more for eternity but now he has made his way to Mystic Falls and it ready to literally rain Hell on Earth. None of the residents are going to take it lying down, however, as so many of them have been affected by losing friends or loved ones as a result of Azazel's plan and even though all of the Special Children have been resurrected, those wounds still run deep and nothing is forgotten in Mystic Falls. Not only are the Winchesters and Bobby working on a way to save Sam from Lucifer's influence but they might soon find that they have allies in the angels and in others in town who want nothing more than to see the devil back where he belongs.
Elsewhere in Mystic Falls the next generation of Mikaelsons and Saltzmans have been welcomed into the world and are thriving surrounded by their loving families but a new threat looms on the horizon for the Mikaelson family. Esther's sister Dahlia has finally woken from her hundred year long slumber and now she has arrived in Mystic Falls along with Freya and Mathias' son Adrian. Even though she was unable to sense the presence of the newest additions to the Mikaelson family in the form of Klaus and Hayley's daughter Hope and Henrik and Olivia's twins Connor and Alice thanks to specially crafted jewellery that was created to shield their magic from her word of the new arrivals has still spread far and wide and Dahlia is determined to collect the power that was unknowingly promised to her a thousand years ago by her sister.
With all of the Mikaelsons together in one place for the first time in history along with Klaus' new hybrid army whose sole purpose is to protect the Mikaelson family they hope that they will be enough to protect the babies from Dahlia but it is better than to be safe than sorry. With his brother's hybrid army in place, Henrik has been working on a way of protecting the children on his own in the form of a spell to protect the children unaware that it would react badly with a spell that Dahlia had cast. Instead of keeping the children safe the two spells mixed together and not just the Mikaelson babies but also the Saltzman twins and a number of other young children up to the age of eight, both supernatural and human alike, went to sleep the age they were meant to be only to wake up the following morning as sixteen year olds. Most people around town believe that they all grew up in the town and have false memories of the children but those who know about the supernatural have two sets of memories, one real and the other fake, and are now trying to figure out which are which.
The opening of the Salvatore School has been brought forward to give not just those affected by the spell but also other supernatural children around town a safe place to go where they can learn about their powers and how to control them. Built on the Veritas Estate where Stefan and Damon Salvatore grew up, the school was been funded by both the Salvatore and the Mikaelson families in the hope of making sure that no supernatural children have to go through the horrors that so many have in the past. All the while the hits being funded by money taken from the Hale vault have now found their way to Whitmore College but with so many familiar faces in attendance it is only a matter of time before the true culprit is revealed.
As if all of that wasn't bad enough Dr Valack's book about the Dread Doctors has mysteriously found it's way into the homes of a number of Mystic Falls residents and the techniques used to wipe Derek Hale's memory of his time being experimented on are starting to lose their effects after he was turned back into a werewolf by Scott. With Sebastien Valet successfully resurrected but severely weakened and with no recollection of who he is, Sebastien and Marcel have both left Mystic Falls to regroup while leaving the rest of the Dread Doctors move on to the next stage in their plan but with the book out in the open could everything the Dread Doctors have been doing be about to fall apart? Only time will tell. |

THE STORY... THENTwo years ago life in Mystic Falls changed forever the day that Azazel's second group of Special Children was sacrificed to free Lucifer from the cage and sixteen months ago life changed again when a spell swept over Mystic Falls which resulted in a number of children being aged up to the age of sixteen over night. Some might think that life in Mystic Falls couldn't get any more difficult or dangerous but they couldn't be more wrong.
Lucifer has been biding his time trying to find an Archangel blade so that he would stand a chance against his siblings and after being expelled from Sam Winchester's body he has had no choice but to track down a new host this time in the form of Nick, a human who was desperate enough to say yes to becoming Lucifer's vessel in the hope that the Archangel would help him get revenge for his slaughtered family. Now Lucifer has made sure that he will be able to retain Nick as his vessel permanently he has one less thing to worry about and he is free to set his plan into motion. A month ago he learned that his attempt to become a father was successful after all given that Kelly Kline gave birth to Jack, the son she conceived after spending the night with Lucifer while he was using Sam as his vessel, and he is now trying to find a way to sway his son who has been aged up by the spell that still lingers over Mystic Falls to his side so that together they can be unstoppable although, of course, Sam and the Winchesters won't give him up without a fight.
Elsewhere in Mystic Falls the hit list is still in full swing with the final part of the list set to be released at any moment. The Benefactor has yet to make their presence known but it is only a matter of time before the group thought to have been disbanded after several run ins with Athena Petrova throughout the course of history reveals that the hit list was their way of picking off the weak among the supernatural population so they can see who is truly worthy of joining their cause when they manage to free their leader Garrett Douglas, a former Nazi warlock-werelion hybrid who has spent decades being experimented on by the Dread Doctors after they imprisoned him during World War II. He was once Hitler's second in command among the group of supernaturals that wanted to take over the world and put humans in their rightful place once and for all and now his reign of terror in Mystic Falls will soon be able to start.
As if that wasn't bad enough, armed with the money Flynn Herondale earned after his first few successful kills of people on the hit list Wes Maxfield and the Augustine Society have more than enough money to start funding their research in earnest. They still need more money to achieve their goal of creating enough of their own synthetic vampires to eradicate all of the vampires and other supernaturals all around the world but they have enough to get them started while their servant continues to provide and the first wave of synthetic vampires is ready to be unleashed on the world.
Unaware of the dangers lurking in the shadows, the Mikaelsons are on edge following the news that Dahlia is finally ready to make her move against them. A year ago Henrik cast a spell that backfired with one of Dahlia's own and resulted in a number of children being aged up over night and ever since then she has been gaining more power by any means necessary, including allying herself with Malivore meaning that she now has his monsters at her disposal and those monsters are starting to pop up all over Mystic Falls. Naturally the Mikaelsons have been making plans of their own to take down their Aunt and with some of the family having made friends and allies in town, this time they won't be facing her alone but who knows how much of Mystic Falls or how many of its residents will be left by the time they're through.
Elsewhere angels and demons are finding that the laws of nature they thought were once written in stone are changing for them as well. No longer do all human mothers who conceive nephilim die during child birth and angels inhabiting female hosts are able to conceive too. Demons are also finding it easier to create cambions and more supernaturals than ever are being drawn to the town leaving those with magic running through their veins along with werecreatures to seek out solace among others of their kind as they try to protect themselves and the town they call home. With the rules of the supernatural changing in ways that no one could have expected, will Mystic Falls ever be the same again? |

THE STORY... NOWWith the hit list a thing of the past and angels now aware of the deceit caused by one of their own, things should be returning to normal in Mystic Falls. A year ago Hope and her friends graduated from the Salvatore School and started the next chapter of their lives by starting at the Salvatore College and now it is the turn of Stefan, Bonnie, Caroline, Scott, Stiles and their friends to graduate from Whitmore College. The last four years really have flown by, all their hard work has finally paid off and it is time for them all to embark on new adventures by starting their chosen careers. Fortunately the spell cast by Henrik which resulted in children around town ageing up over night has had another effect, those living in Mystic Falls are blissfully unaware that there are those among them who aren't getting any older meaning that anyone immortal can stay in town without having to worry.
Unfortunately, staying in town isn't such a good idea for some. Over the last few months mysterious disappearances have been reported around Mystic Falls and for once the Dread Doctors and the hit list aren't to blame. This is something new, something thought to be nothing more than a myth - the Wild Hunt has come to Mystic Falls. The Ghost Riders have been operating in secret, taking people from around Mystic Falls and in doing so erasing all memories of them. Among those taken are Elena Gilbert, Rebekah Mikaelson, Dean Winchester, Malia Tate, Kira Yukimura and Kaleb Hawkins. Ever since they were taken their friends and families have felt like something is missing but the Ghost Riders should have known that none of them would go quietly. One by one they are waking up and hatching a plan to escape the Phantom Train Station and get back to where they belong and it is only a matter of time before they succeed. The only question that remains is how many more people will be taken before the Ghost Riders are stopped once and for all.
The Wild Hunt isn't all that has been drawn to Mystic Falls lately, Wes Maxfield and the Augustine Society managed to get their hands on the body of a human infected by the Croatoan virus the Winchesters faced years before and they have not only managed to unlock the secrets of the virus, they have managed to make it that much more deadly. Altered so that only supernaturals can be infected with the intention that once infected they will target and kill other supernaturals, the virus was tested in New Orleans but quickly mutated and it wasn't long before those infected were killing humans as well. With a few infected supernaturals managing to slip through the cracks despite the safeguards that Wes and his team put in place, the virus has slowly but surely been spreading across the country and a few of those infected have found their way to Mystic Falls, even in their infected state drawn to the town by the Nemeton created by Grey Maddox and Destiny Baccari despite the fact that it is still in its infancy. Fortunately a solution has been found, albeit a temporary one, in the form of phoenix stones. When someone infected is stabbed by a weapon set with one of these stones they will be drawn into the phoenix stone and will be kept there until a cure is found. Some supernaturals find themselves once they are in the realm inside the phoenix stone but others remain rabid resulting in a fight for survival like none the world has ever known. The hunter Braeden has brought these stones to Mystic Falls in the hope of finding others who will help her in her mission of saving as many of those infected as possible.
Elsewhere in Mystic Falls, things aren't as they should be at the Salvatore School and College either. It has been almost a year since Ben's father, the angel Raziel, revealed his plan to eradicate everyone who is supernatural from the world and in those intervening months he has been gaining followers, trying to make himself stronger than ever and ensure that his plan succeeds. With everything else going on in Mystic Falls Hope and her friends can't afford to become distracted now, not with the whole of the supernatural world at stake, but with so much chaos going on around them their task is set to become even more difficult.
Will life in Mystic Falls ever be normal or is life as they know it about to be changed forever?
