━ i tasted endless love that takes control.━
I’m glad you think so, We’ll definitely need to do this again then, You don’t need to thank me, What can I say, I guess you bring that side out in me, Some people only see the flaws of another, You have the same effect on me,
Tomas felt a smile tug at his lips when Diego pointed out that they need to do this again. "I totally agree." Tomas said in a soft voice, his eyes relaxing solely on Diego. He'd never met anyone like Diego before, and he had no doubt in his mind that he'll never be able to get someone like him out of his mind. God, he was already messing him up. "I'm honored." Tomas said with a grin locked on his lips when Diego let him know that he brings that side out of him. He released a soft hum when Diego told him that some people only see the flaws of another, before he nodded his head in agreement with the younger. "You're definitely not wrong about that." Tomas whispered. "It's still messed up, though." He added a moment later with a frown tugging at his features. "Because I'm looking at you right now, and I see no flaws whatsoever." There was a glint of happiness in his eyes when Diego told him that he has the same effect on him. He leaned forward and connected their lips together without offering a response to that. The way his lips moved against the younger was just so full of passion as he wrapped his arms around the other, bringing him closer to himself.
Please don’t. He has a lot of connections and if he finds out you’re looking for him then he’ll come after you, I hate it but I can’t do anything about it,
Tomas' brows furrowed at that, his eyes still focused solely on Diego. Connections? The way Diego sounded genuinely afraid of him was enough to make his protectiveness burn hotter. It just didn't sit well with him to see the younger's eyes filled with so much worry and fear. "Let him." Tomas spoke up, and he wasn't pretending to be brave to impress the other. He meant it. "I can handle myself, Diego. I just don't want you to continue living your life like this. Constantly looking over your shoulder." Tomas gave Diego's hand a gentle squeeze. "I'll help if you let me. I want to help you with this." Tomas was quick to speak up. He wanted to put an end to Diego's nightmare, so the younger could live a fulfilled life. He wanted to make that asshole pay for what he did to Diego.
Of course I’m worried about you, You don’t deserve to be dragged into any of this. Thank you, that means a lot to me, That sounds great, I really don’t know how I got this lucky, I can’t believe I told you some about my past and you’re still interested. So many guys would have run a mile.
"Hey, I'm not getting dragged into anything, trust me. This is my decision." Tomas assured with a soft smile tugging on his lips. "Plus, neither do you. You deserve to live happily." Tomas added a moment later as his eyes searched for Diego's, finding his softened ones, and it made his heart thud. God. So adorable. "Of course." Tomas spoke up when the younger thanked him, adding on to let Tomas know how much that meant to him. "It's the least I can do." His shoulders lifted and dropped with a soft smile tugging on his lips. "Well..." He trailed off, tongue rushing over the surface of his bottom lip. "I'm not much of a runner." Tomas said with a grin tugging on his lips. "Plus, I'm too stubborn to let go. Not unless I've done everything I can and this is only the beginning, so." Tomas' shoulders lifted and dropped in a quick shrug as he lifted his free hand to cup Diego's cheek gently. "I've always had a thing for guys with baggage, so." He teased in a light-hearted voice to lighten up the mood a bit.

As Tomas agreed that they should do this again, Diego felt a smile form on his face. “We could even make it a regular thing,” he grinned, knowing that he would be up for that if Tomas was. Diego had grown accustomed to one night stands since he’d arrived in Mystic Falls but even before that he’d never enjoyed himself so much with another person and he’d never felt such a connection with anyone else. In a way it almost felt like they were two halves of one whole and he knew that he wanted to make the most of that for as long as he could. “You should be, I’m not like this with anyone else,” he chuckled. Even with his exes he had never felt this at ease and there was something about Tomas that kept bringing the compliments out of him and Diego couldn’t deny that he liked it. “You’re telling me. That relationship didn’t last long but those doubts stayed with me,” Diego admitted. He knew that it would probably sound strange to Tomas since he was often so confident otherwise but when it came to his body that confidence had been knocked a lot during that relationship and it was going to take some time for that to change although he was starting to get the feeling that Tomas might be the one who could change it. “Keep going like that and you’ll bring my confidence up in no time,” he said, his expression gentle as he looked over at Tomas. He knew that guy wasn’t just saying it, he genuinely meant it and that was something that Diego hadn’t expected but he couldn’t deny that he liked it and it was definitely making him feel a lot better already. “You’re flawless yourself, I’ve never met anyone like you before,” Diego said sincerely, his hands trailing down Tomas’ arms as their lips met once more.
Tomas’ words were enough to have Diego’s eyes widening. He had known that Tomas was protective, he had seen it in the way that the guy had talked about his sister, and Diego had known that opening up to him about his ex was a risk but now he was more worried about Tomas getting hurt. His ex was a hunter and a good one at that, dragons were tough to kill but the guy had come close and Diego knew that he didn’t want Tomas getting hurt because he got in the guy’s way. Looking down at their hands as Tomas gave his hand a squeeze, Diego lifted his gaze to meet Tomas’ slowly. “I know you do but it’s too much of a risk. It’s bad enough that I’m putting my family in danger by staying with them,” he sighed. “It means a lot that you want to help but I’ll be fine,” he added, hoping that Tomas would believe him. It was easy to forget about his ex while he was working or having fun and he felt bad that he had even brought it up in the first place but he had needed Tomas to know that he wasn’t the reason why Diego was saying no to dating him, he had needed him to know the truth. “I promise that if I see him or hear anything about him being in town I’ll tell you, will that do?” he asked, hoping that it would for the time being. Tomas wasn’t going to end up getting hurt because of him, Diego wouldn’t let it happen. As Tomas said he deserved to live happily, Diego pulled the guy to him and kissed him gently. “So do you,” he said, his lips brushing against Tomas’ as he spoke. Hearing that Tomas wasn’t much of a runner was enough to draw a smile to Diego’s face and he nodded. “That’s lucky for me then,” he said sincerely. He was pretty sure that there weren’t any other guys who would be willing to take all of that on especially when they’d only met the other person the night before but Tomas didn’t seem fazed by it one bit and once again Diego found himself wondering how Tomas could be so perfect. He was doing everything right and saying all of the right things and even though Diego wanted to try and talk Tomas out of looking for his ex that didn’t mean that he didn’t want to put an end to that chapter of his life once and for all. He wanted to accept Tomas’ help, he just couldn’t put him at risk like that. Diego couldn’t help but laugh as Tomas said that he’d always had a thing for guys with baggage. “Looks like we have that in common,” he chuckled before catching sight of the time. “Do you have work today or can we stay in this bubble for a bit longer?”TOMAS SILVA

We could even make it a regular thing, You should be, I’m not like this with anyone else, You’re telling me. That relationship didn’t last long but those doubts stayed with me, Keep going like that and you’ll bring my confidence up in no time, You’re flawless yourself, I’ve never met anyone like you before,
Tomas's lips stretched to form a sincere grin at that. "I'd be more than happy to." He responded when Diego said that they could make it a regular thing. "I was going to ask you about that, but I kept talking myself from doing it. Didn't wanna come onto you a little too strong." Tomas admitted with a sheepish smile resting on his lips. He was definitely glad to hear that Diego felt the same way, too. He felt his heart thump in its rib cage when Diego told him that he's not like this with anyone else. I'm special, the voice in his head said with a beaming grin locked on his lips. "Consider my ego beyond inflated." Tomas added a moment later with a chuckle falling from his lips. God, that made him feel great about himself. "I'm really sorry about that, Diego. I really am." Tomas whispered in a soft voice. "You don't deserve any of that." He added a moment later with a frown tugging on his features as his eyes scanned Diego's (very handsome) features. "Well, in that case, I'm not going to stop anytime soon." Tomas revealed with ease as his lips stretched to form a soft smile. Hearing the compliment from Diego was more than enough to make his heartbeat stutter again. God. He's totally messing Tomas up, and not in a bad way. Definitely not in a bad way.
I know you do but it’s too much of a risk. It’s bad enough that I’m putting my family in danger by staying with them, It means a lot that you want to help but I’ll be fine,
Tomas was pissed that someone like Diego's ex even existed. He seemed like such an awful person and genuinely seemed like the type of person that belonged behind bars as he was a danger to his surroundings. Tomas' frown was visible on his face as he gnawed gently on his inner cheeks. "I'm used to risks, Diego. Trust me." Tomas assured him in a soft voice, but he wasn't going to keep pushing if the other didn't need his help. He didn't want to be too suffocating, even though he was really worried about Diego and his safety. Tomas almost suggested to Diego that he could move in with him, but he quickly pressed his lips shut to stop himself from making that offer because they only met yesterday. He didn't want to come off too strong. "I know you will be." Tomas said with a soft smile forming on his lips when Diego told him that he'll be fine. "You're very strong."
I promise that if I see him or hear anything about him being in town I’ll tell you, will that do? So do you, That’s lucky for me then, Looks like we have that in common, Do you have work today or can we stay in this bubble for a bit longer?
Tomas nodded his head a few times when Diego promised him that if he ever saw his ex or heard anything about him being in town, he'll inform Tomas. "That will do." He said with a soft smile resting on his lips. "In the meantime, stay safe, okay?" Tomas gave Diego's lips a quick kiss before he leaned back with a soft smile tugging on his lips. "Mmm, very lucky for you, indeed." He mumbled teasingly as he leaned forward to leave another kiss on Diego's lips. "Oh yeah, guess that's why our chemistry is so strong." He said with a chuckle forming on his lips, his hands moving to settle on Diego's hips, keeping him close to himself. Tomas glanced over at the ticking clock before his attention drifted back to Diego. "We can stay in this bubble for a bit longer." Tomas said in a soft voice as he leaned forward to press a quick kiss on the younger's cheek. "Wasn't ready to leave you and go to work, anyway." Tomas added a moment later once he leaned back to look at him better. "I'm perfectly content right here."

“I don’t think you could ever come on too strong, not with me,” Diego assured Tomas gently. There was something about the guy that drew Diego to him and the connection he felt between them was too strong to deny. He had no idea what was going to happen between them or where this might go but he knew that he wanted to find out. Tomas was a great guy, better than any of the guys he’d been with in the past or any of the girls either for that matter, and Diego was pretty sure that he was never going to be able to spend enough time with him. “It should be,” he said, a smile forming on his face as he looked over at Tomas. “This probably sounds crazy because we only met last night but you already mean a lot to me,” he admitted. It felt a little strange saying that out loud but it was the truth. He cared about Tomas and he knew that this went so far beyond just a random hook-up. There was something there between them, something real, and that was something that Diego didn’t want to ignore. As Tomas spoke again, Diego’s expression softened and he shrugged. “It is what it is, I don’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to liking anyone. I always seem to end up with the wrong one,” he explained. “This time, with you, it finally feels like I might have gotten it right.” Diego knew that he wasn’t ready for something serious right now but he was certain that he and Tomas could have a lot of fun together so he hoped they would get that chance. “Somehow I don’t doubt that,” Diego said, a smile forming on his face in return as he felt his heart start to race.
Things seemed to be going so well but the moment Tomas asked if they could date, Diego knew that he had to tell him the truth. He hadn’t planned on it since he had thought that it might make Tomas run a mile but if anything it seemed to have the opposite effect. Tomas hadn’t looked down on him for it once, he only looked worried about that was enough to make Diego’s heart ache. “I know you are but I don’t want you putting yourself in danger because of me,” he said gently. His ex was a hunter, he had friends everywhere and Diego knew that the last thing he wanted was to find that one of them was in Mystic Falls reporting back to him. Tomas was completely innocent in all of this and Diego wanted it to stay that way. He wanted to accept Tomas’ offer so he could finally stop looking over his shoulder like Tomas had said but he knew that he couldn’t. “I try to be,” he said, a small smile forming on his face in return. Diego knew that he couldn’t let Tomas start trying to track down his ex and have the guy find out where he was but he could promise to let Tomas know if he ever saw his ex in town. Diego knew that it was unlikely, or at least he hoped it was anyway, but in a way it was actually a relief to know that he had someone else that he could turn to about this since he knew that he didn’t want to bother his brother or Ethan too much if he could help it. “I will, I promise,” Diego assured him as he kissed Tomas back. It was strange to think that it was only the night before that he’d felt Tomas’ lips against his own for the first time and now he couldn’t imagine not feeling that. He was definitely addicted. “It really is, I’ve never felt anything like this before,” he admitted. It really was incredible and a little scary at the same time but he knew that he wouldn’t have it any other way and as Tomas placed his hands on his hips, Diego couldn’t help but smile as he wrapped his arms around Tomas’ neck. “I was hoping you would say that,” he said, leaning in for a much longer kiss than the quick one that Tomas had left on his lips. “There isn’t anywhere I’d rather be right now.”TOMAS SILVA
