Plot With Diego

DIEGOCRISTÓBALALVAREZ

Diego is the son of two dragon parents who lost a lot of children before his older brother Antonio came along. Diego was born decades after Antonio but there were still always certain expectations that were placed on him, ones that he was never sure that he could live up to. He struggled to stay focused while he was at school and he was picked on a lot until his teenage years when his abilities started kicking in and his body changed. He never went to college after graduation and instead tried his hand at a few different careers while he tried to find the right fit. That didn’t happen so he went travelling for a while before a fire at a club he was hanging out with some friends at had him jumping in to help evacuate as many people as possible before the fire department arrived. He was saved by his brother and from that day on he knew he wanted to become a firefighter and paramedic. He has worked as that for the last few years and he has moved to Mystic Falls after getting his heart broken by his boyfriend who turned out to be a hunter and tried to kill him and after coming out to his parents and telling them that if they didn’t sort things out and support Antonio then they would lose him as well. Now he is starting over and he is in town to stay.



Friends;; Diego always had a lot of friends while he was growing up and he often tried to make others laugh. He can be a bit of a clown at times but he is loyal and he has a good heart so I’d love for him to have some people around that he can trust. He has only ever had one person outside his family that he confided in about being a dragon and that is his ex so it would be good for him to find some supernatural friends that he can be himself with.

Enemies;; There were always people who picked on Diego because of the way he used to look and he still feels a little insecure about that now. He has never really had any enemies as such, just people who didn’t like him because of that but he learned how to stand up for himself at a young age and he won’t let anyone walk all over him now. The only person who will definitely fall into this category is his ex, after all the guy did try to kill him after he revealed what he was.

Lovers;; Casual hook ups have been the norm for Diego for a long time. He settled down and started a relationship with a guy about a year ago and he thought he’d found something special but it didn’t last because they were from completely different worlds. Diego has his insecurities and deep down he’s worried that he’s so screwed up that no one will ever really love him for who he is but I would love for someone to prove him wrong.
