Plot With Maggie

Maggie was born in East Ridge, Tennessee in 1864. She grew up hearing stories about kitsunes and other supernatural creatures and she longed to learn that she was one herself but it took a long time for her abilities to manifest properly. Her mother died when she was just a child and after that her father became overbearing and insisted that she learn how to be a lady so she could find a good husband. Maggie spent years finding different ways to rebel and it was during one of those attempts that she met Jacob Salvatore. He annoyed her at first but they kept bumping into each other and she eventually fell for him. They got married in secret since her father didn’t approve and she found out she was pregnant shortly after Jacob became a vampire. She raised their son on her own after that, accidentally stopped herself ageing and became a teacher. After Jake followed in his father’s footsteps they travelled for a while before eventually deciding to move to Mystic Falls in the hopes of finding some of Jacob’s family in town. Maggie now works as a social worker.

Friends;; Most of Maggie’s friends have been human so they died a long time ago. She is stubborn and doesn’t like to do what she is told a lot of the time which can get on the nerves of some people but when she does become friends with someone she is a loyal friend and will stand by the people she cares about. She has just arrived in Mystic Falls so she doesn’t know anyone yet but could bump into some faces from her past.

Enemies;; Maggie’s mother was killed by a hunter and her son was fed on by a vampire and died with their blood in her system so she is wary of people and isn’t very good at letting people know what she really is. She isn’t afraid to stand up for herself or the people she cares about which can rub some people up the wrong way and she won’t just stand back if she sees something going on that she feels is wrong.

Lovers;; After so many failed attempts at finding someone who would be a suitable husband, Maggie started to lose hope. She refused to go for an arranged marriage and insisted on marrying for love instead and that’s where Jacob came in. He is her true love and even after so many years she of believing him to be dead she still loves him and has only ever loved him.
