Meet Evelyn's half-brother! His name is entirely up to you as is his history and personality but here's a little gist of what I'm thinking!
He is from Evelyn's Mother's first marriage, she never talked about him to Evelyn or William. She kept him hidden from her new rich life, he lives with his father who had full custody of him. Once Evelyn's Mother met William, at this time brother here was 10 years old, she decided to up and leave, wanting to get away from the 'normal' and 'poor' lifestyle she was living with her first husband. Jumping at the first chance at wealth, she signed divorce papers and custody papers all in the same day and left. Yes, she is incredibly shallow and a terrible person.
So I would assume he would resent her for it, growing to hate her because of her abandoning him and his father. After she left he never heard from her again, however, as he grew into adulthood he would find out that he had a sibling, a sister, Evelyn. He was an only child much like Evelyn so he was shocked to learn he had a younger sister. How he found this out is entirely up to you, as is how he triggered his werewolf curse, IF he even has! It could be that he hasn't triggered it yet which would be a good plot point for ya! This would also include why/how he is in Mystic Falls, could be that he tracked down Evelyn here or it could be entirely a coincidence that he moves to the same town she's in. EITHER WAY!
Other than that, his history and personality is entirely up to you! If you want to run plot and history with me feel free to do so! My discord is open as is PM on here! I'll respond to either!
