PERSONALITY: Evelyn Marie Monet is inherently good. With a heart of pure intentions, she has a nature of deep kindness and acceptance. As a child she was often found sneaking food to those less fortunate than she, down in the poverty stricken areas of her town. She looked upon those in need not as a burden or a figure made to make her feel guilty, but with a compassionate and empathic eye. However, while she is at first glance a good-humored and approachable figure, she is no stranger to anger and jealousy. Just like any human, she cannot control her emotions as well as she might like.
With a slight inferiority complex, the abandonment of all those she grew to care for has built a solid anchor of insecurity within her. She often struggles with feelings of unworthiness and self-doubt, leading to deep depressive states that can last hours and in worse cases, weeks. This being said, she is often outwardly optimistic. Usually a girl with a sunny disposition she is happy to offer her help, opinion and guidance to any who ask with the jest and ease of a friend. But, she is prone to opening up too quickly.
So desperate for affection and acceptance she does all that she can to establish strong bounds. This leaves her open to manipulation to those who seek to use or abuse her. But, worst of all, she has her father's darkness. It lurks in the corner of her mind, buried under years of specially formed optimism. The draw to the dark side is alive within her and she is yet to embrace it, foolishly burying it for fear of what she might become. This side of her is often displayed in moments of high pressure or danger. Cornered, she will lash out as all she’s really ever known is a fiery need to take care of herself. All who knew the Monet family have said the same thing. She has her father’s temper and her mother's eyes.
