@rebekah Oh, I love that idea.  Damon's been fighting his sudden inclination to play the hero ever since he got back into town. He's been trying to feed on people just to spite his brother and has failed at every attempt. I can see him seeing this as a way of getting over both Katherine and Elena and failing miserably at it when he realises it's done nothing but put him on Niklaus' radar and pissed off his brother. |

As if I'd ever say no.  I loved the snark between these two in the first thread. Damon's probably tried to do some poking around since to try and get a handle on who she was. Maybe him coming in could be on purpose, or it could be accidental. Either way he'd probably appreciate the help with the blood bags, especially since he's been failing so miserably at getting it straight from the vein. He's not going to have been dealing so well with having his brother turning the Boarding House into a home for wayward supernaturals either so this would totally fit with him being a little selfish about the whole thing and it'd give him a bit of a buddy too.

The visit being purposeful is even better and could be funny if he was really frank about it xP The blood bags would be a little way for her to say thanks for helping, even though he bit her. (One of my charries being one of the waywards haha.) Casey would be up for being buddies, already having some other supernatural acquaintances so one another, especially one in the town and that she can share some snarky/sarcastic comments with, wouldn't hurt. Do you want me to get a starter up and we can just roll with it?

I only play nine people.  That's not quite everybody. These two would be fun to throw at one another. Damon won't be too pleased to have her try to drain a little out of him, especially since he's having a little trouble finding willing (or not so willing) donors these days as it is. I can see him being mega pissed if Meredith manages to corner him enough to try and steal some.

9 isn't that many. We could wait until Alaric introduces them if you wanted but I'm totally up for a thread for them now. Maybe instead of meeting at the hospital we could have something happen out and about. Maybe Damon's having a little blood bag sippy time in his car somewhere and Meredith spots him? With all the trouble he's been having finding a live donor he's having to result to methods he doesn't like and of course that'll have him all sharp and snarky when he gets caught.

A thread with these two would work perfectly for Damon at the moment. He's just returned to town after months away because he heard of the threat coming for Elena. Since he heard from Stefan what the threat exactly is he's been poking around town, trying to find out what's going to happen and who might be involved. Damon is trying to use every tool in the box and he'd count Liz as one of those. Perhaps he'd come looking for her at the station to try and get her on side with it all.

Ha! You got to me first before I got to you. I think there's still a couple of others I haven't thrown at you ( I have some restraint). I love the idea. Damon knows that the Mikaelsons are in town and both Tatia and Elena are in danger so he'd likely be super sarcastic and suspicious if someone turns up at the Boarding House looking for accommodation. Gotta love some Damon snark, especially with someone who doesn't just play along with the whole thing. |

Apologies that it's taken me so long to get to this! I'm a bad, bad RPer. I think we had it that Damon had kissed Katherine thinking she was Elena and had then high tailed it out of town once he'd realised Katherine was free of the tomb the whole time. He stayed out of town for a few months with his pride stinging and only returned home recently when he heard tell of an ancient vampire who was heading to Mystic Falls after a doppelganger. Since then Damon's been begrudgingly rebuilding some of the bridges he'd destroyed before he left. A conversation with Elena is definitely due now, especially since he's working behind the scenes to try and make sure Elena doesn't end up dead. He'd try and keep the homicidal tendencies to a minimum.

That's the Damon he's trying to convince people he still is at the moment and is likely failing miserably. He went out looking for Matt when he disappeared, he's tried to drum up some support in town to deal with the Mikaelson problem. Damon coming looking for Elena to play bodyguard for a night would probably work into that. Maybe he thinks Niklaus is ready to make a move and decides to put himself in harm's way for the night. Close quarters would probably force the talk on them.

Damon's always happy to have those. He'll likely be drowning his sorrows a bit once he realises Niklaus' ritual is about to happen and he's not managed to do a damn thing about it. Maybe once he realises that Grant's a warlock and some sort of techie, he'll look to use his skills to help with what's going to happen in the wake of the ritual. We could always do a meeting thread first, Damon sticks his nose into Grant's business over a drink or two, and then push things on with a second thread once the ritual is over and done with.
