 DECLANMICHAELLEROUXDeclan is the twin brother of Delaney Leroux and was born to two parents who are weretigers. He grew up knowing about the supernatural world and he was only young when his oldest sibling shifted for the first time. He always knew it would happen sooner or later but he still wasn't quite prepared for it when he shifted for the first time during his early years as a teenager. He eventually found an anchor in the shape of his twin and he has been doing better ever since. Friends;; Declan is a friendly and outgoing individual who is always quite happy to talk to anyone but he sometimes struggles to let people get close to him given the secret that he has to keep not just to protect himself but to protect his family as well. I would like him to have a few friends who are supernatural themselves but some human friends would be good too. Declan is fiercely loyal and will do anything to protect the people he cares about. Enemies;; Being born into the supernatural world has meant that Declan has inherited a few enemies just because of what he is. He recently came across a hunter who didn't care that he and his sister have never taken a life, all the hunter saw was that they were weretigers and for that they deserved to be put down. Thankfully they were saved by Ben Winchester but ever since then Dec has been wary of hunters other than Ben and does what he can to stay out of their way. Lovers;; Even though he has been known to be quite flirty at times and he has been in a few different relationships over the last few years with both boys and girls given that he is bisexual, one thing that has always eluded Declan is his first love. He has yet to experience that and even though he wants to know what it would feel like to fall for someone completely a part of him is scared to do so as he knows that there are few people around that he can let get to know the real him. My poor boy has been neglected  I think these two could end up becoming pretty good friends. He was born and raised in Mystic Falls so perhaps they could have seen each other around school and known each other a little, especially if she and Laney are friends, and then they could bump into each other around town somewhere and get to know each other better? If we want them to find out the truth about each other it could even be something like he sees her using magic or he scares off something supernatural and they get talking from there.

Declan's had bad experiences with hunters in the past and Alix isn't exactly doing the honourable thing in town right now. She'd feel awfully guilty if he was to come across her on a hunt and thinks history is repeating. Instead of her killing him, maybe like she's ordered to, he gets protected by her and she lets him see what she is.

Ooh, I like that idea! Dec comes from a long line of werecreatures so even though they just want to live in town in peace they could have easily made it onto Alix's list. Dec has never taken a life so perhaps he could be her target but the fact that he is a teenager and the colour of his eyes could stop her and he could explain about his family?

Alix is feeling all the sympathy now that she's in town. *LOL* She's never agreed with her family's policy of killing just for the sake of eradicating the supernatural and that's only gotten stronger since she's become a werecoyote herself. At some point it'll come back to bite her on her ass but for now, yeah, she won't be able to kill a kid with a story like that.

You are my hero I would love for these two to be friends! Dec has lived in Mystic Falls his whole life and they are in the same year at school so it would definitely make sense for them to know each other. We could even go with saying that their parents were friends so they grew up together if you like, or we could just say that they met and got to know each other through school. Dec definitely wouldn't let Caroline get away with putting on a front with him and I imagine he will probably be one of those people who often reminds her that she deserves the best when she starts to doubt herself.
