Hector’s body was aching as he woke up. He rolled onto his back, letting out a quiet groan as he twisted his head side to side. It had been at least ten years since someone had snapped his neck. No one usually got that close, but Magnus didn’t hold back once Hector had gone for Linc. Had he crossed the line? Maybe. Did he care? Not particularly. It wasn’t until he hauled himself upright he realised both of hands were chained to the floor. Bastards. Magnus made sure Hector had enough blood that he wouldn’t turn to dust, but it was barely anything. It was to keep him weak, ensuring he couldn’t break free of the chains and attack someone. It didn’t stop Hector from trying though. He used what little strength he had left to try and yank the chains from out of the floor, but each pull left him exhausted. If he had to hear Magnus say “This is for ya own good.” once more he was going to rip his own heart out. Hector had tried everything to bargain with Magnus, from being nice to being downright awful, but Magnus was above it. It was impossible to manipulate him. By this point Hector had accepted he might have been sick. He was also on the verge of accepting defeat though. Magnus promised he would find a cure for Hector, but how long would that take? Hector couldn’t stand being locked up for another minute. His mind was turning against him and torturing him. The lack of blood he could deal with, but he couldn’t deal with the effects of the virus. The easy thing to do was to lie down and pass out, but even then his dreams were filled with murder and bloodshed. He tried desperately to drive them towards happy memories but the virus wouldn’t let him. He was convinced this was his end, going as far as asking Magnus to kill him. It would be a mercy killing, putting his best friend out of his misery. Course Magnus refused. The cup of blood a day wasn’t enough to stop his veins feeling like rubber. His throat was like sandpaper, it was painful to even swallow. Yet he still tugged on the chain everyday, but a human could probably have pulled it harder. His eyes flickered open as he heard footsteps entering his cell of horror, but his vision wouldn’t focus enough to see who it was. Magnus had already visited that morning. Had Hector been asleep for twenty hours? “Oh Magnus… give up… I’m done for. Please kill me.” Then he heard the heels drag along the floor, coming towards him. Magnus never came this close. The smell of sweet perfume drifted past his nose. “Hannya?” He managed to drag himself upright as she lowered herself down in front of him, slashing her nails across her neck. Instructions for him to drink. His limbs felt heavy as he lifted them, his hands clamped around her body, pulling her neck towards his mouth. There was no stopping him once his teeth penetrated her skin. Not until her body went limp. HANNYA

━ make you beg for it, plead for it, until you feel like you breathe for it ━ KEEPING HECTOR LOCKED UP IN THAT GROSS, old basement wasn’t any fun. It was also a waste of his talents, and since Hannya was all about using (exploiting) terrible abilities like this, she made it her personal mission to find out where he was and set him free.
It wasn’t hard. Magnus wasn’t great at hide-and-seek━not up against her abilities, at least━though she suspected Linc was a little too old for that game. One would’ve hoped a vampire nearing one thousand years would be better at this, but perhaps it was more about keeping Hector in rather than keeping everyone else out.
Well, oops.
Hannya floated into the damp basement, and though it was musty and unpleasant, she didn’t so much as wrinkle her nose. Hector wasn’t conscious enough to notice whether or not her reactions appeared human. She broke the lock on his cell door as though it were made of paper, then strode towards him, heels clacking on the ground and echoing off the stone.
“Hey, Daddy,” She purred when he said her name, finally seeming to realize that she wasn’t Magnus. “Look at you,” Hannya pouted, her voice full of faux sadness, “What did they do to ya, baby? So mean.” And then she hummed, speaking softly as she lowered gracefully onto his thighs. “Don’t worry. I’ll fix ya right up.”
Hannya lifted a hand, and, without flinching, slashed a line into her neck and pressed into him. He might’ve been too weak for the initial bite, but strength quickly returned to him, obvious in the way he grabbed her. Hannya held onto his biceps and squeezed until her host lost consciousness.
Within a few seconds, Hannya sucked in a breath, all processes beginning to run again as she healed. She slipped her hands onto his chest and pushed as she pulled away, putting space between them. It didn’t matter whether or not he’d had his fill, she decided when he could have more.
“Feelin’ better?” She asked with a smirk, swiping her thumb over his lip before pressing it into his mouth, ensuring he got every last drop. “So terrible of ‘em t’keep ya down here, huh? All locked up, starvin’. Ain’t ya lucky I came t’save ya?” Hannya grinned, and, without looking away from his eyes, the cuffs on his hands snapped open, freeing him.

Out of all the people who could have saved him he never expected to hear Hannya’s drawl echo through the empty room. He could barely form a smile when she greeted him. Just moving the muscles in his face was exhausting. But once he bit down into her neck he could feel the strength rushing back through his body. Hannya was only unconscious for a few seconds before she bounced back with life, pulling away from Hector. Her thumb slipped into his mouth, pushing into the last few drops of her body. “A little.” He needed to drain a few more humans until he was back to full strength and he needed to be quick about it before Magnus found him. Hector moved his wrists around once the cuffs were off. Slowly he got to his feet, using the wall to steady himself. Once they stepped outside Hector brought his hand up to shield his eyes from the sun as they adjusted. “Bloody hell how long have I been down there?” It was difficult to keep track of time when you’re drifting in and out of sleep. He focused her hearing on his surroundings, trying to pick up a heartbeat nearby. He was desperate to tear someone's throat out. In the distance he could hear voices and the sound of water. “I can hear people down near the falls. I fancy going for a swim. Wanna join?” His lips twisted into a smirk, as he took hold of Hannya’s hand guiding them off towards the falls. He was hoping to find more than two people near the falls. It was a couple enjoying a nice afternoon swim. It wasn’t fair if Hector was the only one getting any level of satisfaction out of the situation. He flashed Hannya a quick glance before looking over towards the female, “I just wanna say you look beautiful in that swimsuit… it really compliments your curves.” The girl’s face flushed pink as she smiled sheepishly at Hector. The comment was enough to have the boyfriend frowning deeply as it stirred jealousy inside of him. “Which one do you want?” He muttered to Hannya, his gaze bouncing between the couple, holding himself back from decaptating the pair of them. ━ make you beg for it, plead for it, until you feel like you breathe for it ━ HANNYA WANTED HECTOR TO HAVE ENOUGH SO THAT HE could walk out of there, but not enough that he wasn’t still starving. The virus in his system would likely do that on its own, but Hannya wanted to make sure he’d be fun today.
She lightly pushed his chest to keep him away from her neck after he’d drained her the first time, and, once she’d freed him, she rose to her feet, allowing Hector to stand and get his bearings.
They were out in moments, with Hannya shrugging noncommittally at his question. “Few days? Been awful borin’ without ya there.” Her eyes didn’t reach him as she said, as though it was an off-hand comment, “Long enough for everyone t’start fightin’ over who’s gonna take your spot at the club. They’re trynna take it from ya, y’know. Think they were just waitin’ ‘til you were outta there so they could pounce.” Hector might not care about the state of his business right now, but it was worth a shot just to collect every ounce of envy possible.
“Sounds like fun,” She hummed back at him, finally looking at Hector as she took his hand and accompanied him to whatever havoc he was about to wreak on Mystic Falls.
Two people were more than enough for Hannya to have her fun━especially due to the fact that they were clearly a couple. Hector immediately complimented her, and Hannya breathed in the jealousy that began to swim around the boyfriend’s brain. “Hmm,” She said to Hector, glancing at him before her eyes slid back to the boy. “I dunno… he’s kinda scrumptious.” Hannya said, though she didn’t want either of them.
“Hey!” The girl snapped at her, sending another surge of power Hannya’s way. “That’s my boyfriend!” She grinned darkly, letting her influence surround them like a cloud, and she watched as the boyfriend gained some nerve.
“Yeah, and what’d you say to my girlfriend, man?!” The boy stepped in to shove Hector, and Hannya’s eyes lit up with amusement.
“Actually, baby, you can have both. I’m good t’watch.” She purred, slipping behind Hector to ghost her fingertips over the back of his neck, leaning in to feel his sweat against her lips, dashing her tongue out to taste him in the seconds before he committed another massacre. Delicious.

It took a few seconds before Hector could fully register what Hannya was telling him. He’d been gone long enough for the others to try and take the club from him? He’d stolen the club from another vampire, but that was different. The man was an idiot and not his friend. Luc and Magnus would never do that to him. He’d spent years building that place into a successful business. No one would take that from him. But the unhinged voices inside his head were telling him something different. He needed to go back to the club and finish what he started. Luc and Magnus needed to die. “Let’s head back to the club later. Have a chat with Luc and Magnus.” If he went over there right now he’d be taken down within minutes. His legs were still feeling as though they were going to give way. He was practically starving again by the time they reached the couple, but it wasn’t the hunger that was telling him to kill them. Hector had the willpower to hold back from feeding even when his body was screaming for body thanks to centuries of training. He’d made his mistakes at the start, acting on instinct rather than assessing the situation. The situation they were in brought something for both Hector and Hannya. She could bask in the jealousy and Hector could rip their limbs off afterwards. A smirk crept across his face as the girl snapped at Hannya. “Humans are always so bloody territorial of their partner.” He muttered to Hannya just as the man stepped closer to him, attempting to shove him towards. Hector didn’t move though, glued to his spot. Hannya moved behind him, telling him he could kill them both. Her tongue briefly trailed over his skin, sending a small shiver down his spine, “If you insist.” Hector took a step forward, so his face was only inches away from the man. “Stay quiet. Don’t move. You’re gonna watch your girlfriend die.” The smirk faded from his face as he eyes darkened quickly. In a blur he was next to the girl, teeth deep in her neck, draining the life from her. Within seconds her body went limp and Hector tossed her into the water. “Tasty.” He said as he started strolling back over towards the man, his fangs still prominent, “But I think I have room for one more.” In another blur his teeth locked onto the man's neck until he became a dead weight against Hector’s frame. He pulled away, grabbed the man and threw him into the water, “Anyway.” He turned back to Hannya, his eyes faded back to brown, wiping the blood away from his mouth as he inched closer to her, “I feel like killing more people. Let's head into town, see who we can find along the way.” His hands slid around her neck, to the base of her skull. He wrapped his fingers around her hair, tugging it slightly so her head tilted towards him as he drew her closer to kiss her. HANNYA - the end
