Leah thought Elias was being a little dramatic with his theory that there was some zombie virus spreading through Mystic Falls, but then she started to notice the steady increase of call outs to murder scenes. Some had their throats ripped open, others had been killed by more brutual methods. Hopefully she could find one of these infected people and throw them into Ayla’s path. Perhaps they’d tear through Ayla and Remzi. He could die trying to protect the bitch, again. She was still trying to process the fact Remzi stepped in and stopped her from killing Ayla.
But fuck him. That was the final straw. Leah hated him and wished them both a miserable unhappy life together. She wasted so much of her fucking time on him. Three years. Three fucking years. And what did she have to show for it at the end? A broken heart. Course she’d never admit that to anyone, portraying it like it was no big deal. Water off a duck's back. It was his loss anyway and she was determined to show him that by throwing herself at various men in the club hoping that if her attention was on someone else she wouldn’t think about Remzi, but that wasn’t the case. He was invading her every single thought, living rent free in her head.
There was no sign of Remzi in the club that evening, but it still didn’t stop her from picking out the hottest guy in there and latching herself onto him. Things were going well until work was dragging her away from him. Fuck! She untangled herself from him, “I’m heading to the ladies room.” She leaned in, giving him one last kiss before disappearing off towards the bathroom.
A second later she was a few blocks away from the club, in a quiet street, standing a few metres away from a dead body, a confused ghost and a girl. Leah stepped forward, recognising the girl immediately. They’d never exchanged names, but Leah had picked up some of her victims over the past few months. “We gotta stop meeting like this… most people just ask for my number.” She let out a low whistle as she looked down at the corpse, “You really went to town on this one didn’t you?” It reminded her of some of Remzi’s handy work. Fuck, even looking at dead bodies reminded her of him.

Tonight was supposed to be 'simple', Violet thought. "Just go out for a jog. Do something rather than mope around on the couch," She thought. Nothing bad would happen ... right? Spoiler Alert: She was wrong. After taking a turn, the smell of human blood slapped her across the face, and the next thing she knew, the guy's head rolled ... literally. At first, Violet no idea of what she was doing until the damage had already been done. She was in shock, her emotions now getting the better of her. The man's blood covered her mouth like a child that had attempted to put on make-up, which wasn't a pretty sight.

How am I gonna explain this to Claire!? Fuck ..." she mentally cursed at herself, not even really sure what to do with the body at her feet. That was when another woman's voice came from behind her, which confused Violet. "I'm sorry? Look, I don't know who you are, but if you know what's good for you, you should probably get out of here," Violet said, wafting her bloody hand at the woman, not really wanting to hear someone's bitchy attitude, especially from some random stranger.

That was when something clicked in Violet's brain. "Wait, you act like you know me, but I know for a fact we've never actually met before ... How's that even possible?" She asked the strange woman. Of course it had to be Supernatural, but something like this specifically? Violet had no idea what this woman was. In fact, Violet wasn't even sure if she wanted to know. There were still things Violet knew of in terms of the Supernatural world, but then again, she never really cared to learn different things. She only cared about things that pertained to what she was, how it affected her - the general stuff. Nothing else really mattered, in her opinion. But this woman was clearly something that Violet knew nothing of, and it more than likely had something to do with the dead body that still sat at her feet.

How the fuck was she meant to have one of those work life balances going on when her job was literally 24/7. It was a good job she didn’t need any sleep otherwise she’d be running on caffeine alone. Death didn’t stick to normal office hours. Nine to five, Monday to Friday. Cory did forewarn of that before she took the job, but she was so desperate to be brought back to life that she was willing to accept almost any offer lying on the table. Cleaning up souls for eternity? Yeah sure.
Irritating hit her when she was dragged away from the hot man in the club. There had been times back in the past where she’d ignored the call outs, but Leah was certain Death would be crawling into town soon once Elias ran back to him with the news about the infection. Leah had to play employee of the month until things cooled off.
It was impressive when a vampire was so hungry they ripped through a human’s neck trying to drain out every last drop of blood. Remzi’s control was questionable at times, but at least he’d never gone that far. Would Leah have found that attractive? Probably, in some fucked up way.
Oh, it was cute when people tried to threaten her. Like the sight of blood dripping from her hand would scare Leah away. “No can do… sorry hun.” There was one lost little soul which needed guiding towards the light, but they could wait a few minutes. Wasn’t like they could go anywhere else. Sure, they could run off but nothing was out there for them.
There was no point hiding behind the veil with this woman. Clearly a vampire unless she was a cannibal. “Technically we haven’t met. I’m a reaper, we clean up human souls and this isn’t the first time I’ve been calling out one of your victims.” The stranger wasn’t exactly top of the regulars list but it was enough times that Leah had memorised her face. “Wait… you’re not infected are you?” She took a step back quickly with a look of disgust, “Because apparently there’s some virus going around at the moment which makes you all homicidal and shit.”
