Hector slipped away from the group in order to pursue a pretty redhead he spotted at the bar once they entered the pub. He muttered to Magnus he would be back soon, without needing to explain exactly where he was going. He had prepared for a worst-case scenario when he boarded the plane to London, but so far everyone had managed to stay alive. Somehow. Lawrence and his little friend were toeing the line though and either Magnus or Hector was going to take a swing at one of them. Magnus was looking after his son, Kit had never been a problem and Hannya was actually behaving herself, for a change. It was going better than expected. Being back in the homeland did stir a bit of nostalgia in him, bringing forward old memories of strolling the streets back thirteen hundred, stepping over the corpses that lay in the street after The Black Death struck the city. No one batted an eyelid when they spotted a dead body, leaving Hector and Nicholas with a great advantage. Obviously, the nostalgia wasn’t to the level Magnus was feeling. Despite the tragedy, he endured in this country Magnus still missed it, which Hector found noble. But then again, were you going to find another man as proud of his country as Magnus? Probably not. Nonetheless, it was nice to walk along the streets where he spent his younger years, especially when he spotted a building still standing. However, none of his old lodgings were still there. Nor was the butchers or bakery he once worked at. In their place were expensive designer shops. It was nice to see the land hadn’t gone to complete waste by building another Mcdonalds'. Plus Hector had left just enough room in his suitcase to pick up a few custom suits whilst he was in the capital given the tailors in Mystic Falls were lacking in their skills. He drew the redhead away from her friends, offering to buy her a drink and complimenting her dress. Then he suggested they headed out to the smoking area for some fresh air as the pub was starting to fill up with customers. Hector cast a glance over toward Lincoln for a second, wondering how the baby vampire was coping with the number of humans nearby. If he stood there and really listened, the sound of heartbeats would be deafening, overwhelming almost, but for Hector, it blended in with the music and chit-chat of others. As much as he brush Lincoln off with no concern Hector did empathize with him. They’d all been young once, experiencing that empty feeling in their stomach that could only be satisfied with one thing only. Magnus was lingering nearby anyway in case Lincoln decided to take a chunk out of someone who wandered a little too close to him, leaving the others to compel everyone in the bar. Hector took the woman by the hand, leading them both outside to the smoking area at the side of the pub. He guided them a little bit away from the others. Away from prying eyes. One downside of sharing a house with others was the lack of privacy. Ears everywhere. However, the others were still in the pub, so Hector was free to take the redhead back to his and have his way with her. But first, it was time for a light snack. “That’s a beautiful necklace. Mind if I take a look?” As predicted she swept her hair off her shoulder, and exposed her neck fully. The truth was he was interested in the blood seeping through her veins and the necklace. The weight indicated it was gold. “Take the necklace off and give it to me.” Old habits and all that. The woman complied and soon the necklace was buried deep in his coat pocket. “Stand still and don’t make a noise… this might hurt.” His teeth were millimeters from piercing the redhead’s skin when there was a loud crack as someone sent the woman’s head flying into the concrete. She collapsed into a heap on the floor, blood seeping from her skull, and standing in front of him was Hannya. He sighed heavily, “Do you mind? That was my dinner.” He gestured toward the redhead, as the dark veins disappeared from his face and his eyes faded back to brown. HANNYA

━ make you beg for it, plead for it, until you feel like you breathe for it ━ LONDON WAS FINE. A NICE CHANGE FROM THE U.S., WHERE SHE'D holed up for the last few years. Keeping her claws around this host was Hannya’s primary concern, but so were Dolly’s… extensions. Joel received frequent updates via her Instagram posts and hardly anything direct. He had to be desperately missing her now. Knowing she was off with her fiancé, who was…
Huh. Gone.
Hector was her default for the trip. Remzi clattered sloppily beside Lawrence (whose presence she ignored) and was not worth her time, and Kit… well, she’d deal with him later. He thought he was above her now. Anyway, the baby vampire━Hannya only wanted to make his skin crawl, especially when she gave all her attention to his daddy, who was old but not quite old enough to know what to do with her, it seemed. She liked that. Hector played at being in control, but Magnus knew he was ineffective against her and wasn’t sure how to handle that. She loved knocking him off kilter.
But Hector. Where the hell was he?
He was her fiancé, after all, and she should know where he was and what (or who) he was doing at all times. Peering over the heads of useless humans that were better off without them, Hannya caught a glimpse of Hector sneaking out with a redhead. A fucking redhead.
“Watch my drink for me, sugar, wouldja?” Hannya purred into Magnus’ ear and slipped her glass into his hand. He caught it deftly, but otherwise acted like a teenager who’d never seen a woman up close before. He looked at Hannya like she was about to swallow him whole━and she would if he let her━and nodded dumbly. Hannya made a kissy noise at his kid and strutted out, off to find her lover… who was apparently a dirty cheater. Pity━for the girl, anyway.
Grabbing that awful mess of red fucking straw on her head, Hannya tossed her easily into the nearest wall without a second thought━and before Hector could get a taste. The woman hit it with a satisfying crack, and crumpled to the floor like the fucking meat sack she was.
“Do you mind?” Hannya scoffed, stepping close to Hector, her eyes narrowing. “How’s a girl ever supposedta trust ‘er hubby if he goes ‘round bitin’ all the random bitches he can find?” Other than her one curse, Hannya’s voice was soft and sweet… with a whole under-layer of accusation.
As if coddling a child, Hannya pouted and stepped in again, her hands coming up to cup his cheeks. “Don’t put ‘em away, baby; I’m here now.” Her thumbs swiped softly under his eyes, chasing the shadow of those dark veins. “Ya don’t gotta settle for meals from low-class trash like her.” Batting her lashes innocently, Hannya beamed up at Hector and slowly leaned in to ghost her tongue over the centre of his lips, then slipped it past them, offering kitten licks to the places his fangs would come from━as if waiting to get pierced.

He didn’t need the necklace that was hanging from his victim's neck, but he wanted it. Magnus would have given him a look of disappointment if he was close by, muttering some comment about once a pirate, always a pirate. What could he say though? Being back in London had filled him with a sense of nostalgia, even though the place barely resembled the city he left behind during the Second World War and Magnus had made sure everyone knew just how much London had changed over centuries. Like an old man, Hector would overhear him muttering to himself when they came across a huge glass building housing multiple businesses. It wasn’t like that back in their day. It felt like Hannya’s attention had been locked on him since they stepped off the plane. She’d obviously weighed up her choices with the men on the trip and Hector had come out on top, to no surprise. He’d spotted her eyeing up Magnus a few times though, which was an amusing sight. It wouldn’t have been the first time the men had shared a woman either, but that wasn’t who they were anymore. It was silly of him to think it was possible to slip away from Hannya without her noticing within a few minutes. She could have at least waited for him to have a little nibble of the human’s neck before sending her skull flying into the brick wall. At first he’d assumed the whole fiancé thing was just a game Hannya was playing with Joel, but she’d kept it going for a while now. So long as it didn’t damper his chances with other women he really didn’t care. In fact a part of him enjoyed pissing off Joel. “I’m starving.” He spoke as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. But why have the redhead when he had an endless supply of blood standing in front of him? He grabbed Hannya by the wrist and tugged her close to him, “She was just the starter… you’re the main course.” He brushed her blonde locks off her shoulder, leaning in so his lips were brushing against her ear, “And the dessert.” He whispered quietly before trailing his tongue down her neck slowly, his lips gliding along her skin. His left hand moved up her back until he reached the nape of her neck, curling her hair around his fingers and pulling her head to one side. The veins shot back down his face again as teeth penetrated her skin. Unlike the amateurs he pulled back long before her heart began to slow down, taking just a bit of blood. He released his grip on Hannya’s hair, but left his hand on the base of her neck as he pulled away from her. “What’s the deal with you and the Detective? He seems to be very fond of you… Dolly.” It seemed like she had him wrapped around his little finger like the rest of the men in Mystic Falls. HANNYA

━ make you beg for it, plead for it, until you feel like you breathe for it ━ HANNYA LAUGHED BREATHILY AS HECTOR TUGGED HER CLOSER, eager to feel his fangs plunge into her skin. It always made Dolly cringe and shriek from within, and there was nothing Hannya loved more than tormenting her host. She moaned quietly as Hector began draining the human’s life force, her fingers latched onto his sides, nails digging into him.
It hadn’t been nearly long enough when he separated from her. Hannya sighed contently and leaned back as far as Hector’s hold would allow, tipping her chin up to grin at him. “That was more like a snack.” She hummed, her voice a slight whine like she wanted Hector to drain her. But ah, that would be difficult in an alley, wouldn’t it? Waiting for her to regain consciousness and all, though it would only take a few moments. And if anyone noticed, they could eat them, too. What was the downside, really?
Joel. Of course. Hannya was surprised he hadn’t come up sooner, but Hector likely thought he still had Hannya all to himself. He’d gone along with the game easily enough; perhaps he didn’t mind being married to her. But who would?! “Mmm… Dolly.” She scoffed, “The meat suit.” She pointed to herself, then laid her hand on his chest, leaning into Hector. “Poor lil’ baby got ‘erself all tangled up over that detective. Y’know, back when they were youngin’s. Best friends, always loved ‘im but he never loved ‘er back━so sad.” She pouted and put on a voice, clearly mocking their story. “So, when he got himself a girlfriend, Dolly prayed for someone t’help. And look who answered.” Hannya beamed and batted her lashes, then pressed her hips into Hector’s, “She never knew she was hot ‘fore me. I killed his lil’ girlfriend, left, and he just so happened to be in Mystic Falls sniffin’ ‘round the club.” She rolled her eyes, “‘Magine his surprise when he saw little ol’ Dolly ain’t so frumpy no more. He’s married now, so I thought, maybe I’ll be gettin’ hitched, too. To the man he hates.” Hannya giggled, then cackled evilly, impressed with herself all over again. She was good.
“Really tears him up, y’know? Might kill his wife after I get him t’break his vows.” Hannya snickered, practically trembling with delight at the very idea. Her arms slithered up and around his shoulders, nails scraping his scalp as she buried her fingers in his hair. “The whole thing’s just so… excitin’. I love thinkin’ ‘bout it.” She purred, then closed in on Hector’s mouth again, licking her way past his lips before she claimed them against her own in a burst of passion.

His tongue had trailed over parts of Hannya’s body that Joel wished he could touch. Sometimes he could understand why she fed off the jealousy, it was fun. The look that flashed across Joel’s face when Hannya announced her engagement to Hector filled him with joy. The detectives were trying to come after him and his bar, so it was only fair he played his own games with them. “I’ll be sure to take more when we get home.” One hand slid down her back, resting on her ass, giving it a firm squeeze. Blood wasn’t the only thing he’d be taking either. Meat suit. It was a derogatory word to refer to the body she stole but it brought a smile to Hector’s face. Whatever was standing in front of him though wasn’t the real Hannya. One hand brushed along her face, pushing her hair back off her shoulders as he wondered what lay beneath the skin. “Wait… someone can pray and you appear?” Thankfully she didn’t turn up when Hector prayed for someone to bring Evelyn back, it wouldn’t have been a fair trade. Evelyn for Hannya. The two were complete polar opposites. There was a spike of pride when Hannya told him that Joel hated him. Nice to hear he had made a lasting impression, “We can invite him to the fake wedding.” Hannya was sounding too confident when she spoke about their pretend marriage, like it was actually going to happen. It wasn’t. No woman would ever take his surname. “Sounds like you have it all planned out.” It was impressive Joel hadn’t broken his vows before now with Hannya, considering the way she looked. The man must truly love his wife to turn a blind to this woman. Once her lips met his he spun her around and pinned her against the wall, his chest pressing against hers. His left hand trailed down her body before resting on her waist, “Let’s head back to mine for a bit… work out some of this excitement.” The girl on the ground had started to stir slightly anyway. ━ make you beg for it, plead for it, until you feel like you breathe for it ━ HOME. HOW… DOMESTIC. IT WAS HOME FOR NOW; SHE couldn’t leave Joel wanting for too long. Just enough. Any more or little and it wouldn’t work the way she wanted. Hannya had perfected this into an art form, and she wasn’t about to compromise herself just for a little fun with her “boss.” Hannya liked keeping a thumb (or a heel, rather) on Hector, but Joel was a longer game, and she wanted to keep her perfectly-manicured nails dipped in that pot.
“Uh huh,” She snickered, leaning in to whisper in his ear, “Best be careful what you wish for,” Hannya flicked his lobe with the tip of her tongue, then pulled away slowly to grin at Hector and tell the rest of her story. Or, rather, Dolly’s. They didn’t have enough time for Hannya’s.
Fake wedding? She liked the sound of that. “Mhm,” Hannya purred, laughing again as she imagined Joel twitching in his seat, perhaps even getting up to shout ‘I object!’ like he was living in a fucking movie. Anyway, it sounded like she had Hector’s agreement already, and while she didn’t necessarily need his permission, it would be easier if she did.
“‘Course,” She hummed, “You think I do anythin’ without plannin’ it?” Most of them likely did. She thought Hector was smart enough to not underestimate her anymore, but perhaps she was wrong━it didn’t matter anyway. She almost hoped they all did. Hannya kissed him again, though Hector spun them and pinned her to the wall, and she was chuckling darkly into his mouth until it trailed off into another low moan. The demon tugged lightly on his hair, smirking at Hector and his suggestion. “Let’s go.” She purred, glancing at the body on the ground as she stirred. Hannya almost drove her heel into that mop of red hair before deciding it would be more fun to let her suffer.
“Don’t waste no time now,” Hannya puffed, wanting Hector to get them there in a flash. She couldn’t wait to feel Dolly suffer while she was drained over and over again.
