Billy Lacoir
Billy had been in town for a while, but after Eden had met Daniel, he had left town to get some research on him or the town. He had come up blank on Daniel and his family, but he had found a lot on the town. Many urban myths or stories are on conspiracy websites or websites of the occult. It took him a while to sort through what could be real and what was a wack job which was off his meds. Billy had learnt a lot about the possible things that went bump in the dark. It didn't mean he believed any of it. It just meant he was aware of what information was out there.
Billy had found out about many different creatures, but until he had proof, it was all speculation. The human had his reasons for being dubious about the supernatural. If it turned out that it was real, he would have to look back at what happened to his father to find out what happened and if it would happen to him at the same age. It terrified Billy to think he would become like his father, but he tried his best not to think about the world he left behind; he was Billy and not William anymore.
So, after Eden and Billy found out that Daniel had encountered something other than ghosts and ghouls, Billy had to look into it. Now Billy was certain that he had the information he needed. He had made his way back into Mystic Falls. Now that Billy was sure that whatever happened to Daniel wasn't linked to his father, he could return to Eden and share what he had found. Whenever Billy doubts his past life's choices, he disappears or acts distant until he feels that what he has done was correct all those years ago.
Billy was the only one who knew that night, and Eden was the only person close to him at the moment; even she didn't know as he didn't talk about his family life. Billy kept that part of his secret, so when he questioned his choices as a teenager, it took him right back to that night; he had to process this before returning to Eden. Now he was ready to go back and go back to the podcast and 'supernatural' hunting.
Now that he was back in town, he had messaged Eden to meet him at the Grill as he was starving. He tried waiting for Eden to arrive, but he ordered a bowl of chips as he awaited her arrival. EDEN FOSTER

Eden wanted to believe Daniel couldn’t remember her because of some weird memory loss but she was a little doubtful. People didn’t just have a patchy memory with no explanation so as always she jumped to wild conclusions that something else was behind Daniel’s foggy memories. Her imagination was running in overdrive. Maybe it was a witch or something wiping his mind clean? Most would just move past it and accept the other person’s word, but not Eden. Doing the weekly episodes on the podcast just wasn’t as fun without Billy there alongside her, reeling her in and stopping her from rambling for hours on end about everything and anything. So, she put out an announcement to their listeners that they were taking a short break until Billy was back in town. In the meantime, she would be gathering all the information she could find about Mystic Falls which lead her straight to the library. Straight to Penny. Eden nearly jumped with joy when Penny suggested the pair exchange numbers, but she hadn’t mustered up the courage to actually text Penny and ask her out for a drink to figure out whether Penny was into girls or not. Eden felt like Penny might be, but she was probably telling herself to believe she actually had a chance with Penny. Everything had hit play again with Billy back in town and Eden was itching to get back behind the microphone to record their next episode. Whilst everyone in town seemed nice and friendly she was happy to see her best friend again. Ready to unload all the evidence she had been gathering since he’d been gone. Eden rushed into the grill, almost knocking a young girl over in the process. She could practically hear her mom’s voice echoing in her mind, telling her to slow down. Drop it down a gear. “Sorry!” She moved past the stranger, quickly locating Billy sitting in one of the booths. “How ya going.” She slid into the seat across from Billy. “Remember that dude, Daniel? I saw him the other day and he had no idea who I was. Said he has some memory loss thing going on and his oldies have like disappeared.” She reached forward, taking a handful of fries, “Weird as shit, right?” She placed the fries into her mouth, chewing harshly.
