It doesn’t matter what you are. It only matters what you do. It’s your choice

Sam Winchester:
Killing demons was just another day in the life of a Winchester. Sometimes he forgot that it wasn't normal for other hunters. He never took any hunt for granted; a demon hunt was just as likely to kill you as a windigo hunt. If you faltered or made a mistake that was it the monster didn't care what you were used to hunting. Every hunt had to be taken as a life or death possibility, nothing was guaranteed. "That's the point it was a little hunting party to remind me I was here before." He paused. "Well not 'me' but I was here when he was possessing me. It was meant as a memory jogger, not an ambush." Even Hell knew two demons were no match for a Winchester and would have sent at least five per Winchester if they wanted to make damage. No this was definitely a warning or a taunt. "I just don't remember what they are trying to show me!" He was frustrated. How messed up did you have to be not to remember what you had seen? The human hated the fact that his memory and head were so screwed up that he didn't know what had happened and what he was made to see. Maybe it was just Lucifer trying to unhinge him further. "I just don't get it!! There is something he is trying to tell me but it's cryptic. I just wish I understood." The hunter took a look around hoping to trigger something. He looked to the left towards where Christian lived. He wasn't sure who Christian was or why that direction mattered but he took a deep breath and stopped dead. His face went vacant when his memories were going twenty million miles per hour. Sam was no longer in the alley in the present day but back in time. He saw a man walk towards the door. He then saw Alex. It came in flashes. It still didn't make a hundred percent sense but it was starting to come together. It lasted a millisecond but it felt like an hour to the Winchester. Sam continued walking. "Make sure he goes with someone else. They are trying to hurt those I care about. They know they cannot hurt me anymore but you guys they can." He shook his head. Torture meant nothing after Lucifer spent decades ripping you apart, you became accustomed to it but for those you cared about hurting it was easy. To hurt those Sam cared about or even if it meant branching out would make the Winchesters suffer. They may not know about Jack yet but they knew others being hurt because of him would always break the younger Winchester. So, hurting Alex in turn would hurt Sam. If Rohan got hurt Sam would blame himself as he couldn't do it himself. The hunter seriously doubted that Rohan would have his back if he knew the truth about the apocalypse and what he had done recently. So many other hunters he had worked with or trusted over the years had tried to kill or disown him the Quinn family were no different. Even his own brother had threatened that if he didn't know Sam he would have killed him. In the past, Bobby told him to lose his number. Any self-respecting hunter wouldn't stick up for him. Sam sat down and hesitantly lifted his shirt. He knew this would sting but she could do a better job than he could right now. Tag: ALIX QUINN Notes: sooo sorry its late! Words: 595

The usually carefully separated parts of her life had been clashing since she’d arrived in Mystic Falls: Ralphy reaching out to have her trying to shoot Derek, her brothers showing up out of nowhere, Brady, Ralphy’s involvement in the Hit List. Everywhere she turned one thing seemed to be influencing another, but she’d hoped that she could keep Christian clear of that after the Hit List stuff had started to fade. She’d been fooling herself yet again.
Alix’s stomach as she stared up at Sam. Lucifer had probably spent all of his time yanking him around as though he was on a leash, she just hadn’t known he’d done it here. Her brows drew together and she had to resist the urge to look around them again. ”You don’t remember being here at all before? Maybe at one of the houses… They didn’t say anything about it?" She looked deeper into the dark around them, knowing just where the demon’s bodies had been tucked out of sight. It couldn’t have been to do with Christian and Sofia – their problems had all stemmed from her being turned in the attack at the hospital – but it was impossible not to draw lines to it in her head. Had someone been lurking around as they’d buried those bodies in his yard? God, she hoped not.
She knew Sam had to be frustrated with not knowing, but how much worse was it gonna be when he did remember what had been happening when something had been controlling him? Ralphy pulling her strings had been bad enough. ”Maybe you need help putting those pieces together,” Alix said tightly. ”I know you don’t want to pull Dean into this, but maybe it’s time you let someone help you.” She’d volunteer, but … shit. He took a step in the direction of Christian’s place and then stopped. Alix stared at her, her heart fluttering in her throat. There was something there, but she wasn’t sure if she wanted to pick at that loose thread when Christian was already dealing with so much.
Reaching out, she touched his arm lightly in reassurance as he tried to warn her again. She wasn’t sure how far Lucifer had dug into Sam’s head, but the fallen angel wasn’t the first heavy hitter to come after her, she knew how to watch her back, and how to watch out for other people. ”We’ll be careful, I promise. I’m not gonna let them do things on their own … that includes you. You’re stuck with me, no arguments.” The corner of her mouth lifted for a moment before Sam settled on the edge of her trunk. He might not have wanted anybody watching his back in return, but he wasn’t gonna have much choice about that.
Sucking in a breath, Alix let out a kiss as Sam lifted his shirt and revealed the wound. ”I’d say it might scar, but look who I’m talking to,” she muttered. Alix leaned into the trunk, retrieving the first aid kit. She popped it open, pulling out the small bottle of antiseptic and a pack of gauze she tore open with her teeth. ”It might need a few stitches, I don’t think taping it or gluing it’s gonna hold considering where it is. You wanna take something before I do this?” Looking up at him, she only hesitated for a moment before she soaked the gauze and pressed it lightly over the wound.
