This ad is for Ruby's aunt, who is also part of CORY COLLIER 's history! Her sister, April, was Ruby's mom, and Beatriz is the eldest of three girls. After her sister, brother-in-law and five-year-old niece (Ruby) went missing, Beatriz and her other sister worked hard to find her. However, because they all disappeared together, the police were unwilling to do much to help, claiming it was their choice to leave if they wanted. Despite this, Beatriz, her sister, their families, and many locals, worked together to find their loved ones. They organized walks for the cause, created fundraisers to support billboards and other ad campaigns, but ultimately came up empty. Over the years, hope and support dwindled, but she never stopped thinking about her lost sister. The rest of Ruby's history can be found HERE.
In the years between losing her sister and her niece's return, Beatriz found a husband - his first + last names are up to you! Three weeks after they were married, she told him she was a witch, and her husband was in total disbelief. He left in the middle of their fight to go to a bar and process the news through alcohol. He drove home drunk and angry, and his truck ended up colliding with Cory's car, killing them both. For six years, she worked to build up her magic, desperate for her husband back━and the kid he'd killed. She was using Expression, especially after finding a Rogue Reaper, Augustus, to make a deal with. He'd get her to do a little more black magic in his favour, and he promised to bring them back, including riding inside Cory. Well, she never saw him after that, and never got her husband back, and was (rightfully) angry about it. She could never find Augustus or the human boy her husband had killed. More recently (just a few months before the time of Ruby's creation), April's bones were found in the river under Wickery Bridge. After this, their search for Ruby was reignited, with aged progression photos being created and getting spread across the country. Eventually, this search effort proved fruitful! Rescued from drowning in the river under Wickery Bridge, nearly dying just like Beatriz's little sister and husband, Ruby was returned to them, though the who that'd saved her would be far more interesting.

- First name is also optional!
- I imagine them as living in Mystic Falls for quite a while, or at least nearby. They're Puerto Rican on this side of the family, so up to you if Beatriz might've been born there or just their parents!
- I imagine she might've not liked her sister's husband (Ruby's dad) from the start
- Species is (obviously) non-negotiable
