❝ I Don't Have Claws... I Just Have Voices In My Head❞
When did life get so busy that Lydia forgot to make time for her friends? Since she had moved in with Stiles that’s when. Not that she was regretting that at all, but full-time college and a part time job just to make ends meet was enough to make anyone busy. When she had accidentally bumped into Allison at college, it struck Lydia at just how much of a bad friend she had been lately. Since they both had classes to get to, their chat had been short and sweet.
As they both turned to leave Lydia had quickly turned and invited her over that evening. Stiles was out at work, and she had their apartment to herself. She was literally just going to Netflix and chill and there was no reason that she couldn’t do that with her best friend. Then in true Lydia fashion, Lydia made the decision for her saying she would text with her address.
Once she had sat down in her next class, she instantly realized that she had nothing in the house and would need to hit the store on her way home. Being a good host is hard work… she thought to herself, as she was swept away by her class. Her class over in the blink of an eye still a perfect student, taking notes, outline for the assignment given already jotted down in her notebook. Though it would have to wait until tomorrow night as she had other plans.
Hitting the store and filled it with crap junk food, that her bank account would probably regret purchasing so much of later. All she knew was that it wouldn’t go to waste, even if it didn’t get consumed tonight. Putting the bags in the car and drove to her apartment. Hauling the bags up the flight of stairs just in time, bumping into Stiles as he was leaving for work. Explaining the bags, that Allison was coming over and they were having a girl’s night. Wishing him a good night, kissing him goodbye, and slipped into the apartment.
She was in the middle of putting stuff away when the buzzer to the apartment went. She was expecting Allison any minute, but it could have also been Stiles forgetting his keys. Heels clicking along the kitchen floor and to the door terminal she bought up the video feed, and seen it was Allison. Allowing her inside she quickly spoke into the terminal, ” Apartment six…” Lydia told her and hung up from the terminal, and went to her front door opened it waiting for her friend to come up the stairs.

━ as the hours pass, i will let you know ━ FINALLY. JUNIOR YEAR WAS OVER and summer had begun. Allison had guessed at the start of the academic year that junior year would just be as challenging as her sophomore year, but given the balance she had given her life recently..Junior year wasn't all that bad. She passed with flying colours as expected, which obviously pleased her dad, she began to rebuild her friendships once more and her relationship with Nate was blossoming now more than ever. Nothing could've honestly affected the Argent.
Bumping into Lydia one afternoon hadn't been on the Allison's to-do list, but she was glad it happened. Lydia had invited Allison around hers, which obviously meant the two could catch up. They spoke every now and then but considering Lydia had moved in with Stiles and had continued her life, Allison couldn't wait around for a miracle. But she knew the two of them were still friends anyway. Allison continued her day like normal, attending the rest of her classes, working on notes and managing to get ready in time to head over to Lydia's at a reasonable time. As she walked up to the building from the address her friend had texted over, Allison buzzed - hoping to hear a familiar voice.
As the terminal made a sound, the lights also shone faintly around the small camera, indicating someone was looking at her. Hearing apartment six, Allison nodded and walked into the building, heading for the door. With moments passing, the hunter knocked softly and waited for her friend to open up.

❝ I Don't Have Claws... I Just Have Voices In My Head❞
Lydia had been quite happy when she had ran into Allison that afternoon. It had felt like forever since she last spent some quality time with her best friend. Realizing that had to change was when Lydia mentioned that Allison should come over. See the new apartment that she shared with Stiles.
Having your own apartment was great, your own space, in charge of your own destiny. Though it was hard work. Between full time college and a part time job, they were getting by. That also contributed not really having much spare time for friends. So it was either spend the evening alone, or spending it with her best friend that she hadn’t seen months.
After bumping into Allison, Lydia went junk food shopping. Spending some money on junk food, that she would probably regret later, but at this moment she didn’t care. Rushing home putting the popcorn in the microwave, setting all the junk food out in front of them on the coffee table in front of the tv, she just slipped into the chair as the doorbell rang.
Getting straight off the chair, and up to the doorbell. Seeing it was Allison, she buzzed her up the stairs unlocking the main door telling her it was apartment 6. Getting the last few bits ready as the door knocked, she sauntered over to the doorway and brightly greeted her friend. ” Hi!” Lydia greeted stepping to the side to allow her friend in, ” So glad you could make it!” Lydia offering her a hug as she stepped through the doorway.
Once inside she gestured towards the apartment, ” Want the grand tour?” Lydia offered. It was small, but clean. Some student housing could be frightfully unkempt and that is mainly what they had looked for when trying to find somewhere.

━ as the hours pass, i will let you know ━ SPENDING TIME WITH AN OLD friend like Lydia was bound to only improve Allison's mood. Well, truthfully, doing such a thing was bound to improve anyones mood. Allison felt she had a lot of apologising to do also - with her disappearing acts due to her stress for academics and the long...acceptance in regards what had happened when she was 'resurrected'. The nightmares weren't as present anymore and the guilt of what happened would never truly leave her..but the Argent was willing to accept the fact.
As the door swung open, Allison's smile grew wide in order to mimic Lydia's. "Hi!" She greeted also. Allison felt nervous about being here, but at the same time, Lydia was one of her best friends. She would have been more understanding compared to the next person. Stepping inside and pulling Lydia into a hug, Allison sighed happily in their embrace. She needed this. A chance in order to be social again. As the two pulled away, the hunter's eyes already went wandering, looking at the space Lydia shared with Stiles. Stiles! It was always nice knowing that their relationship blossomed in the best way. "Absolutely. I need to see how you deal with Stiles' mess."
