❝ The Lone Wolf Dies But The Pack Survives.❞
They had been in town now for a few months, and they were still living in the motel. It had taken some time, but Aliz had grown to accept what her brother had done. Or rather what he hadn’t done. Four years it had took him, and he still hadn’t done as he had promised. She had no choice but to believe that some of it was this Harmony’s influence over him. It was almost instantaneous, but she didn’t trust Harmony. Despite her Viktor telling her that she could be trusted, and Alex fawning over her. Instantly accepting and trusting. Aliz would reserve her judgement… for now.
Leaving her room which she was sharing with Eniko… her older sister already out. She left the room and the sunlight hit her eyes and she creased her eyes until her eyes adjusted to accommodate the harsh light. The heat was gorgeous, as she enjoyed the heat on her skin. Her arms on show as she was just wearing a vest top, her legs also on show in her cropped leg jeans. Her jeans though weren’t in the best shape. They had various holes going up the leg, but as far as she could tell since she hit the mainland in Canada that ripped jeans were all the rage. You could even buy them like that.
Contemplating what she was going to do with herself today and thought for a moment about waking up Alex. See if he wanted to do something. As he turned, she noticed Harmony coming out of the room she was sharing with Viktor. Aliz stopped for a moment and managed to be civil and nod her head in greeting before taking to her brothers’ room, knocking lightly on the door, and waiting… and waiting. Her brow furrowed… had he gone out already?
Notes: This sucks... Sorry

━ watch me make them bow ━ HARMONY MISSED SHOPPING. SHE MISSED MAKING RANDOM dudes buy her things, mostly, but now she had Viktor. He got her that ugly necklace for her birthday (which she loved, really) and the pocket knife that sat in her purse. He was already out━off somewhere with Alex, she assumed, as she heard him leave, too━and doing God knows what. But she wouldn’t ask after him; she didn’t want to be like that.
Like husband and wife, making a home for themselves in a motel━in this town. There were moments where she bared herself to him━after meeting his family and lying about their new addition, and on her birthday━yet it still terrified her to think of them as anything more. Harmony swallowed hard while staring at herself in the bathroom mirror, double-checking her makeup and the tank top that barely kept her chest contained. She thought, briefly, about wearing something that didn’t put her on display so much, but then grew angry at the mere suggestion that she should cover up for Viktor’s sake. She wasn’t anybody’s property; she didn’t owe herself to him. It… wasn’t like she wanted anyone else, but still.
Grumbling, irritated now, Harmony scooped her purse up from the bed and slipped out of the room, locking it behind her. She spotted Aliz outside as she did, nodding back, full lips in a thin line. Aliz still didn’t like her very much, and Harmony hated that she felt compelled to change that. Blue eyes flicked over the girl’s tattered outfit, and she fought everything in her to not make a comment. Harmony was seconds from walking away━escaping━when she stopped suddenly, hearing Aliz knocking, trying to beckon Alex from his room. The siren hesitated, grit her teeth, then sighed and turned towards the girl.
“He went out earlier.” She mumbled, taking a few steps towards Aliz. “He… I think Viktor dragged him off to do something. Stretch his legs, y’know.” She had no idea if Aliz knew about her twin brother’s nightmares and, though it was likely, she wasn’t about to out Alex like that.
“Are those… the only pants you have?” She couldn’t help herself. Harmony was sure she’d seen Aliz wear them before, and had kept her comments to herself until now. Leaning in, she dipped a manicured fingernail into one of the holes at the seam, tugging lightly. The seam split further. “I had a feeling they were fucked up and not just designed like that.” She laughed, though it was more amused than condescending, and pulled away to give the girl her space again. Harmony attempted to force off the friendly smile, but it stayed despite her best efforts. “I was just about to go to the mall. Do you wanna come? We can find you something new… and more stylish.” She teased, trying her very best to be helpful.
Viktor was important to her, and family was important to him. Harmony knew it probably bugged him that Aliz didn’t like her, and Harmony should’ve been fine with that, but she wasn’t. She wanted his family to like her, too. Even the stubborn, bull-headed ones.
