— here lies a toppled god, his fall was not a small one —
Alex followed after his sister as he usually does and seemed to hesitate as they came to a stop in front of an entrance to a place that boomed with so much loud music. It was a little muffled on the outside, but he could almost feel the drumming of the music under his feet. ”Valószínűleg nem kellene bemennünk, Aliz.” We probably shouldn’t go in there, Aliz. But honestly, he was aware that he would follow her in regardless if she chose to ignore his words and go inside, which he had a feeling she’ll do because this was Aliz, after all.
Alex had never been a ‘fun’ person, he was quiet and so unlike his twin sister. So, the thought of going in there amongst humans did not sit well with him. What if they do something? What if they hurt Aliz? What if his sister shouted for help (which would probably never happen because Aliz was more than capable of defending herself, but still) and he could not hear her because of the loud music?
Truthfully, Alex didn’t have it in his heart to guide her away from the entrance, he didn’t have it in him to tell her to stay put because this was dangerous, he couldn’t do that because they had already suffered so much loss at the hand of the hunters. They had lost their home and they had been traveling for quite some time up until they reached this new island that they will temporarily call their own.
Alex begrudgingly pressed his lips together and stopped protesting as he gestured for her to go in anyway despite his previous warning about not going in there. So much for being ‘stern’ with his sister. He was pretty sure she’d easily remind him she was older than him if he were to act stern with her, anyway. Alex winced the second the door opened, the loud music early consuming him whole. Alex stepped inside shortly after his sister, barely resisting the urge to cover his ears because he knew it would be absolutely useless to do so. He’d still feel the beat of the song regardless. ”Maradj közel.” He told his sister after leaning down and closer to her so she could hear him. He didn’t want to risk losing her, not in here. Alex followed after Aliz, passing between a few people with a small displeased look on his face at the close proximity, and even after they had stepped out of his personal bubble, he still had the same sour look on his face.
He was one hundred percent certain he was not going to enjoy this.
