Premise: This is an open ad for James (you may choose to keep this name or change it). He is Rose's maker and she has not seen him since the night he fed off of her, gave her his blood and then wiped her mind. He never could have predicted that she would later die after suffering a head injury. His history and personality is totally up to you (but I did mention that he was a charmer when he caught Rose's attention). The only aspect of his history that has been pre-ordained is that he met Rose at a summer party in Chesapeake, Virginia in 1987. He flirted with her, fed off her and went on his merry way. The pair have not crossed paths since. Given that she is now back in Virginia (only this time in Mystic Falls), it is time for that to change. I would imagine that they will probably have a bit of an antagonistic relationship given that he essentially 'abandoned' her. She currently has her emotions off and has had them since she killed someone in transition. So she is not going to be overly friendly but perhaps eventually they could be on a more even ground (especially since history has repeated itself and she has essentially done the same thing with Remzi that James did to her).

Premise: This is an open ad for Iain. He is a little more defined than the character above. Rose met him in Scottish highlands when he approached her for her 'fed and dump the dead bodies' approach. He had lived in the area for a relatively long period and didn't want to be detected. He took pity on her and began to school her in what it meant to be a vampire --- including the idea of feeding and wiping their memories. He also was the reason she got a daylight ring, gifting it to her after two years of 'good behavior'. Eventually she told him her whole story and he was the first to explain to her that she had turned off her humanity. He was also the first one to make her feel something other than the desire to fed. Realizing he could be an emotional key, she ran (because she had done too many bad things for her to relive with her emotions back on). Iain has been a constant in her life since, almost like a voice in the back of her head. I definitely have set him up to be what could cause her to flip her emotions back on and she has a great amount of respect for him. I would love for him to come looking for her and we can go from there. He could be a potential love interest for her but I do also promise you tons of fun angst.
His history beyond what is listed in relation to Rose is open but I like to imagine that he is some form of minor nobility. He might even be an active member or former member of the Strix for added connections to characters like Elijah and the de Martels.
