A tale as long as time - stretching from 'a long time ago' happiness of Italy when she was small and the Braschi family were enjoying their blessing, their bounty growing with each new daughter born, to the unhappily ever after in New Orleans. Giorgia spent the first decade of her life in Italy but the death of her father sent the family tumbling to New Orleans and the villainous side of the family. Months later with her mother marrying her uncle, the family continued to expand under the brewing dark cloud of Emiliano and the curse he brought to all of their lives. Her own safe harbour was the boy taken in by Emiliano, that harbour growing until her uncle destroyed it. Cut loose to tumble in the storm, Giorgia tried to be her own heroine. Becoming a lawyer in the DA's office, finding someone new to love, rising above it all until Emiliano's curse and her husband's philandering ways drowned her again. Trying to rewrite the ending to her life - and Emiliano's - Giorgia has headed to Mystic Falls. A sister, a new job, the grumbling thunder of the Buckleys ... and no idea that her moon was rising there (albeit a now bad one). What could possibly go wrong?
friends. More than a decade after her step-father put the ultimate wedge between them the only person who ever would have really called a friend was Nemo. Giorgia had siblings, her sisters taking the place most outside friends usually would've done. She had people she was friendly with at college, but friends big enough to deserve the big F, not right now. Break the cool exterior and dig and maybe you'll get close.
enemies. Emiliano. There was just a single villain in Giorgia's story and that was her step-father. On paper at least the Buckleys are on this list - and should be since she helped keep Mikey behind bars - but she shouldn't be the villain of their story in return.
family. A sprawling mess. As one of eleven girls, three half-brothers and three-turned-two step brothers, the branches of this family tree stretch far. The only ones of real note are her sister Roxxi - the one who escaped the nest of snakes and Matilde and Vittoria, her triplets.
lovers. Can you call the last a lover if cheated continually on her and broke her heart? The divorce papers were filed and signed, cutting her free of Patrick Malloy but it was never a love like another. It's well hidden and surrounded by scar tissue, by the one love that abided is the one she can't have, thanks to Emiliano and his overwhelming darkness.
