━ the stars would be so proud to their atoms helped create someone like you ━ Bonnie had missed Mystic Falls and while she did not always have good memories here, especially the ones involving the passing of her grandmother who had been like a mother to her, she also had some really good memories here and she’d missed it during her time away. After she was finally done unpacking, she decided that now would be the perfect time for her to go out and walk around for a little bit so she could relive all those pleasant memories again and it definitely helped her because she felt the stress leave her the second she walked down the streets.
Bonnie had a soft smile resting on her lips as she looked around her, remembering how she’d run down the street with Elena and Caroline, their ice creams in hand, talking about countless stuff and every single time, it felt like she was living her happiest moments, really. Bonnie decided to buy herself a cup of coffee so she could continue her walk and it was quite soothing, actually.
Bonnie waited for her drink and once she had it in hand, she took it upon herself to head out of the coffee shop, the door shutting gently behind her. She walked down the street while occasionally sipping from her drink until she eventually decided to take a break and sit down, especially now that her feet were beginning to protest after spending hours walking. She found a bench but there was already someone sitting on the right side of it, so she decided to approach them, her lips stretching to form a friendly smile. ”Hi,” she greeted softly. ”Is it okay if I sat down with you?” Bonnie waited for a response before she slowly made her way to sit down on the bench, murmuring a soft ‘thank you’.
She took a quick look around her before her eyes settled on her companion, unable to shake off the feeling that the other wasn’t feeling okay. ”I’m sorry if I’m overstepping but… are you okay?” Bonnie questioned, unable to stop herself from asking.

Post by CASSANDRA BARTLETT on Jan 22, 2023 18:45:44 GMT
It had been a while since Cassandra had been brought back from the Other Side but if she was honest it was still a little overwhelming. Penny had worked together with a warlock to bring her back and Cassandra was so grateful to her sister for that but the world was nothing like how it was when she had died. She was doing her best to navigate it without relying on her sister too much because she knew that she didn’t want to be a burden but it wasn’t easy. Penny was only a teenager when they were separated and she’d spent so much time on her own since then. There were still glimmers of the girl that Cassandra had raised after their parents died within her sister but she had changed and that was something that couldn’t be denied. Penny wasn’t the only one she had been reunited with since being brought back though, she had also been reunited with Sebastian and things between them at least had seemed able to go back to the way they used to be. She still felt guilty that he’d spent such a long time desiccated after she’d died but she couldn’t change it now no matter how much she might want to so all she could do was try to make things better for him now. He had enrolled in a school for the supernatural while he adjusted to the world and the truth was that she had been thinking of doing the same. At least there she wouldn’t have to worry about anyone judging her for everything that she didn’t know but she wasn’t sure if it was the right decision. She was twenty when she’d died so she was older than the high school students and the college seemed different so it was a little daunting to say the least. Right now she wasn’t sure what the best option was so she had been taking some time to get to know her new surroundings since she, Penny and Sebastian had all decided to stay in Mystic Falls. For Cassandra that had been an easy decision to make since Sebastian seemed settled there and Penny had wanted the two of them to stay together so Mystic Falls was now their home. It was so different to the one they had once known but Cassandra liked it and she knew that she wasn’t in a hurry to leave it behind. At some point she would have to considering that neither Penny nor Sebastian were getting any older but that was something to think about another day. As it was she had plenty on her mind already and she snapped out of her thoughts as a girl around her age asked if it was okay to sit with her. Cassandra had found an empty bench to sit on while she collected her thoughts and she had completely tuned out those passing by until now it seemed. “Of course, please do,” she said, offering the girl a smile. Apparently the fact that she had a lot on her mind was written all over her face because the girl was soon asking of she was okay and Cassandra thought about how to answer for a moment. “I will be, I just have a few things I’m trying to figure out at the moment,” she said at last before holding a hand out to the girl to shake. “I’m Cassandra.”BONNIE BENNETT
