- His family was raised as hunters. That's what they are known for.
- Oliver has a twin brother; Ben. He has five siblings in total.
- He was the poster boy for how a child should behave. He was smart, and athletic, playing baseball all through school and ended up playing varsity on the high school team.
- At twenty Oliver wanted to play the sport he loved and raise money for charities, anything to help out the world. That was what he liked to do: help. He had wanted to go to Vanderbilt University to both play baseball and learn.
- Oliver was way too young when his family was torn from him. They were slaughtered by an attack they were not ready for. Hunters had come for the Yeager’s (see Brooke's history for who they are). Everett’s fought for them. Oliver watched as his father was gunned down and his mother’s throat was slit. He saved Brooke and he pulled her from the gore. He saved her, and in doing so, doomed the rest of his family and the Yeager’s.
- Because of this, he and Brooke both enlisted. Oliver made it through boot camp with flying colors. Being a Marine was in his blood in the way hunting was, and the structure was a relief to begin with. It made him seemingly forget about death, and blood, and vengeance.
- It would be at a funeral that he was reunited with his and Brooke's long lost friend, Danielle Collier. The two had come home from a tour overseas to hear the news of her brother’s death. Sending her regards, Brooke left too soon and so that left Danielle with him, and before he knew it, the two began to grow close.
- After a few years of dating, Oliver proposed to Danielle and she eagerly accepted. Not wasting any time, the two eloped and she became Mrs. Oliver Everett. The pair moved from place to place as Oliver was still in the military, traveling base to base. Once Oliver was stationed in a base in Virginia, he had encouraged her to apply to the F.B.I.
- After a fight with a suspect in one of his wife's murder investigations, Oliver went looking for his wife, wanting to make sure she was okay. He had just intended to go and find her, and it ended in a gruesome encounter with a black fit of smoke being shoved down his throat. After that black smoke was down his throat, everything quickly faded and he didn't remember anything except a demon possessing him.
- Everything after that was a blur. All he could hope was that Danielle remembered his words to her. ‘If anything ever happens to me that doesn’t seem natural, fabricate my death. You know how obsessive my sister can get. If I die I want to stay dead, no maybes about it. And I know how this all sounds, but there’s a lot out there in the world that I’ve shielded you from. Just promise me this, Dani. Do this for me. Protect yourself and my sister.’ No one would ever know the truth except for himself and Danielle. **NOTE: these words are crucial to his history. The demon within Oliver kept him as a meat suit for the next three years, wrecking havoc from town to town, making deals and selling souls.
