Samifer:
Sam had managed to get control of his body for an hour. In that hour he had reached out to his big bro, even though Sammy had believed he was safe with the Winchester mob in the bunker. But, something must have been slightly off. Lucifer had used Sammy's mind against him by turning memories into another version of Hell. To start, Sam had been tortured and beaten into submission, but the human was stubborn, he wouldn't give in. Lucifer thought that torture would break the Winchester, but it turned out he could still withstand it. The thing both the DevilDevil and Sam knew was that if Sam's family were involved, Sam would do anything to stop it but turning his family against him or torturing Dean or the others wasn't the answer. That would only mean he fought harder and with hope came freedom. Lucifer couldn't risk Sam gaining control. It wasn't until Lucifer and the witch locked Lucifer inside of Sam that he would risk it all. Sam had been gaining more and more control by resisting, and there was one way to solve it. Lucifer knew now that he couldn't be evicted by Sam or by other methods, so it was time to take pleasure in using Sammy's body. Lucifer knew the longer he was in the Winchester, the more they would push against him. If time were anything to go by, then the Winchesters would keep going until Sam was free and he couldn't kill them. Death would be a sure way for Sam to evict him magic or not. Lucifer would not underestimate the Scobby gang again. It was his downfall last time, but his ego wouldn't bring him down this time. Sam would try to bring him down back, but Lucifer had planned for that too this time. Currently, there was a constant battle between the Devil and the host to see who would win, every day Sammy gained more control, but it was only a matter of time before Nick was ready to take over the role. Sam had managed to message Dean the location that Azazel and Lucifer had been using, so they packed up and moved out. Lucifer, however, didn't leave as this would be an opportunity of a lifetime. Sam may have set the place, and Dean would show up whenever he saw fit, setting the time, but one thing Lucifer would be in control of would be how the meeting would end. If Sammy was to break out and speak to Dean, then that was fine as Lucifer would be leaving in Sam no matter what. Lucifer sat in the abandoned house and awaited the elder Winchester to arrive. A few precautions were put in place as he waited. He made sure all demons left him alone; he wanted this moment to be just between himself and the brothers and whoever else Dean invited. The younger Winchester had tried to hide his actions by finding a burner phone and messaging Dean before Lucifer regained control. The messaged had been sent, but Sam would now have to deal with Lucifer's wrath and the heartbreak if Dean didn't believe it was him. ---- Text Message ----
37.926868 -78.024902
---- End of Message ----All he could manage to send where the coordinates of the address as Sam could feel himself losing control of his body again. He had hoped that Dean would know it was him as it was the way John had sent them to places over the years. He just hoped that Dean would be able to help. ━ of the heavens you were cursed to hold ━
IT had been a rough decade for the older Winchester. Dean had lost most of his easy humor, his skin stretched tight over the fine bones of his face, chin lined with at least a weeks worth of scruff. His eyes held the demons of his past, his past tragedies, and his fallible love for Sam. With the dark circles underneath his eyes, and the brooding shoulders from holding the weight of the world on his shoulders, Dean wanted nothing more than a damn break, but with his line of work, what his entire life consisted of... who he was, that was something that he would never get and he knew that better than anyone. As depressing as it sounds, it was the life he lived and the life he would continue to live until he he had nothin' left.
With having been back into town for a week or so, he still was left empty-handed on the whereabouts of Sam and how to free him from Lucifer's hold. He'd spent months chasing down lead after lead on ways to free Sam or even how the hell to locate him and it had left him utterly exhausted. Of course every lead turned into another, then that one into another, until finally he landed himself in a small town in the middle of nowhere with no new lead anywhere in sight. This had gone on for months. For months he had been gone from Mystic Falls, desperately trying to find a way to free Sam, but he had come up empty handed. Bobby and Cas hadn't come up with anything new either, but not even pure exhaustion or dead ends would stop him from trying to find a way to free his brother. One way or another he would get his brother back.
As Dean sat at the local bar, rifling through various case and news articles on possible Lucifer sightings, his phone buzzed. Pulling it from his pocket, Dean glanced at the screen to see one single message containing coordinates and he instinctively knew what the were. 37.926868 -78.024902. A singular text message containing coordinates was Dad's way of sending both him and Sam to different places over the years. The only people who knew this system were himself, Dad, and Sam. Sam.
Typing those coordinates of the address into his laptop it pulled up an address that was in town. Was... was Sammy in town after all? All this time he spent chasing down leads and Lucifer was in Mystic Falls? Was he here this entire time and just had warded himself against being found? Regardless, without thinking, Dean gathered his things hastily, and was out the door in a matter of minutes. Dean knew better than anyone that this could have easily been just Lucifer who had sent the text and not Sam and that more than likely he would be rolling up into a trap but in that moment he didn't care, for the first time in months he had a lead. As a precaution, Dean left a voicemail to both Cas and Bobby, letting them know what was going on. He intentionally did not send the coordinates, the last thing he needed was for either one of them to get hurt. If anything, Cas had his angel juice back and so all he would have to do was pray and he'd listen.
Speeding down the street, Dean's grip on the wheel tightened as he stared ahead and mentally prepared himself for what was to come, either one of two options: one, this was all a setup and Lucifer was going to fry his ass to kingdom come, or two, Sama had sent out the distress call and he had somehow managed to gain control. And dear god he prayed it were the second option. Arriving at the location of the coordinates, Dean cautiously got out of the impala. Armed with an angel blade and his gun, Dean approached the abandoned house and entered.
"Sammy?" He yelled, praying to god himself that it would be his brother who answered. As he approached the living room, his grip on the blade tightening, there sitting in a chair was Sam, but by the way how he looked, his whole demeanor... that wasn't Sam in front of him. It was the friggin' devil.
"Lucifer."

The archangel waited for the human to appear. He could have just flown to Hell and left Dean empty-handed again, but this was an opportunity not to be missed, it was as if 'God' had planned this. Lucifer was sat on a chair with his legs over the arm. He had nothing really to worry about it wasn't as if Dean could exorcise him or kill him, if he did, he would be killing dear Sammy boy two, and he wouldn't hurt his brother. Or so Lucifer had hoped, it would be a test to see how much the mark had affected him.If it affected the human as much as it affected him, then Dean wouldn't be the same, ever. Lucifer wanted to see just how much the mark had affected the Winchester and if it was enough to hurt Sammy's body. Lucifer took a deep breath in and let it out slowly as he heard the familiar voice. The last time he listened to that voice, he was falling into the pit. Even before he heard the voice, he knew it was Dean by the familiar sound of the impala. That car had been his downfall last time but it wouldn't this time. Lucifer would wipe the Earth of that car if it were the last thing he did, to destroy both Sam and Dean. "Put the blade down. We both know a regular angel blade will do nothing but piss me off." His eyes fell to the straight silver blade in the hunters hand. "Also if you were to try all you would be doing..." He stood up "would be damaging poor Sammy-boy." the angel ran his hands down his hosts chest. "And we both don't want to do that. After all, I am the only thing holding Sammy's consciousness together." Who knew if he were telling the truth, either way, the Winchester would have to trust him or risk damaging his brother. "You should see what is going on up there."

━ of the heavens you were cursed to hold ━
DEAN didn't know what he was fixin' to walk into or what Lucifer had done to Sam. He'd been down this road before and it hadn't ended how they had wanted it to - it had ended with Sammy sacrificing himself and throwing both himself and Lucifer into the cage. Hell after that he had been a damn mess after that, but he had found happiness... in Lisa and Ben. He had actually given up hunting for a year after Sam had jumped into Lucifer's Cage - was living with Lisa and Ben. For the first time in his entire life he was living a normal life, one he never had the luxury of getting. But of course, like it always goes, something supernatural had to happened which sucked him right back into the life... and at the time it just so happened to be Sam who was back from the Cage. After that he didn't look back, he joined up with his brother again, but made sure to check in on Lisa and Ben when he could.
Nevertheless, when it came to Sam, Dean would do whatever he needed to do in order to save his little brother and that included taking on the devil... again. They had defeated him before and they would do it again, no matter the cost. Sam should have never agreed to this, to be Lucifer's vessel. He damn well knew what had happened the last time he had agreed and now they were right back to where all this angel/demon crap started. God he just hoped that Sam wasn't too far gone and that Lucifer didn't have as deep of a grip in his brother, because if he did this would make things a hell lot more difficult in the grand scheme of things.
Angel blade gripped in his right hand Dean marched into the abandoned building to come face to face with none other than Lucifer himself, wearing his brother as a friggin' meat suit. It was sickening. 'Put the blade down. We both know a regular angel blade will do nothing but piss me off.' Hearing Sam's voice sent a shiver down the hunter's spine. That wasn't his brother, but if he learned anything last time was that he would be able to bring Sam back, for him to fight Lucifer and regain control. The love between the two of them was enough last time... maybe it would work this time around.
'Also if you were to try all you would be doing... would be damaging poor Sammy-boy. And we both don't want to do that. After all, I am the only thing holding Sammy's consciousness together.' As much as he hated to admit it, Lucifer was right. Anything he did to Sam's body would end up hurting Sam if Lucifer decided to jump ship. Still his grip remained wound tightly around the blade as he listened to Lucifer mention how he should see what was going on in Sam's head. He could only imagine the torture Sam was going through and it pained him to no end to see his little brother in pain. "Sam fight this." He spoke out, now talking to Sam and ignoring Lucifer altogether. If he were to bring his brother back from this... he would need to pull all the stops and that included playing on his and Sam's bond for one another.
What other choice did he have?

Lucifer knew that Dean would try to reach out to Sam and if last time was anything to go by all three of them knew that it was possible. However, the three of them also knew that it was too late. "He wouldn't have to fight if you had just put a bullet in him like dear ol' Daddy had asked. Sammy knows it too." Sam was regaining control over time and even if Lucifer was sealed inside Sam it didn't mean the humans couldn't get him back long enough to lock him in a cage. Lucifer just had to hope that they had enough sense not to lock Sam up with him in a small area after the last times. The archangel made his eyes glow red in hopes to show Dean what power he had in the past. He had managed to keep the rouse up for a few minutes before Sammy fighting him weakened him. Lucifer thought that he would use this to his advantage as much as he could. The Devil's red glow cracked and faded before Sammy's colour came back. Sam's body softened and his face became less tense. A psychiatrist may have called it multiple personality disorder if only they knew the truth... There was two beings fighting constantly for control of the vessel. It wasn't personalities though was it? It was an archangel and a human fighting for dominance. The stronger willed would spend more time behind the wheel but it had been Lucifer behind the wheel for months until recently. As the humans features softened so did his legs. Sam fell to his knees as the struggle had been too much recently. The human fell into a heap on the floor as tears filled his eyes. Sam took a deep breath to fill his lungs properly. It felt as if he had been drowning for months. Every time he found the surface he was dragged deeper than ever before. Sam could gain control for seconds at a time here and there, normally when Lucifer messed up a small detail allowing Sam to know the truth. "Dean..." He croaked. It was the first time that the human had used his voice properly in months. "Where are we?" He whispered almost inaudibly. It was similar to riding a bike or waking up from a coma, you had the muscles and knew what to do but the muscles were lethargic, unloved and unused. "We were... We were in Hell. Where are we now?" Then he brought his hands to his face. "I killed them, Dean. I killed them all." Sorrow covered his face before fear flooded his features. "I, I, I... oh God. What have I done?"

━ of the heavens you were cursed to hold ━
DEAN could only hope that Sam pulled through, they he could actually talk to his brother and not Lucifer and that was precisely the problem, wasn’t it? It didn’t matter where Dean went, hell followed. That was the hunters life but it seemed like he drew the short straw time and time again, copped the raw end of the stick, whatever cliche you wanted to use to describe the bullshit that was his life. He wasn’t one to give up, not really... but he hated the way the pain followed him, the way the ghosts of his past haunted him. So many wrong turns had him landing here, in yet another dingy ass motel room, nursing yet another glass of Walker’s finest. The only thing keeping him goin' was his brother and son and all the other people in his life who he called family. Family - the one thing that kept aa Winchester fightin,' the one thing that he would always fight for until the day he stopped breathing. That would never change, not even now when things seems so damn low. He would continue fightin' until he had nothin' left.
Standing face to face with the devil himself wasn't somethin' anyone could just say - but he could, he was currently doing it, not backing down not even when he flashed his glowing red eyes. Dean wasn't scared, not really, because he knew he could beat Lucifer, he and Sam had done it before and they would do it again. Come hell or high water, he would get his brother back and put Lucifer where he belonged: in the cage. 'He wouldn't have to fight if you had just put a bullet in him like dear ol' Daddy had asked. Sammy knows it too.' Dean was clenching his jaw so hard that he was afraid it would snap in half, fights clenched, ready to fight if necessary. He knew whatever Lucifer would say to him would be a lie and a ploy to get him to back down, but that was the last thing he was going to do. "Sammy, c'mon man. Fight this." He said again, his tone both hardened as it was desperate to get through to his brother. Sam had to fight to gain control, had to overthrow Lucifer - fight dammit.
Moments passed as he stared ahead at Lucifer, hoping, no, praying, that Sam would fight through. With what seemed like forever, Dean watched as Lucifer fell to his knees, taking a deep breath as if fill his lungs after swimming. Did it... work? Taking a step forward Dean watched for any signs of tricks, anything that would suggest this was just Lucifer messin' with him. But when he heard his name being croaked out he just knew. Rushing forward Dean pulling his brother into a tight hug, tears building in his eyes as he just held onto his brother. He'd gotten through to Sam, it had worked and he breathed out a sigh of relief as he listened to Sam ask where they were. "Mystic Falls. Some abandoned house just outside of the town's limits." He replied as he continued holding onto his brother before he let go and took a step back, keeping a hand on Sam's shoulder as if to help hold him upright.
'I killed them, Dean. I killed them all. I, I, I... oh God. What have I done?' Sam began talking once more, this time going into hysterics and placing his hands onto his face and Dean shook his head fiercely. "No, this wasn't on you. This was on him. Anything that has happened is on Lucifer and no one else, you hear me?" The last thing he was going to do was let Saam blame himself for all of this. This was on Lucifer and Lucifer only and he'd be damned if he let Sam beat himself up over it.

Samifer:
At first Lucifer had tried to pretend to be Sam but in him trying to fool Dean he had given control briefly to Sam. Lucifer had underestimated the Winchesters again. Sam had power for now. When he heard where they were, Sam was even more confused, if Lucifer had control of his body surely he would be destroying the world or invading Heaven, not chatting in Mystic Falls? Sam lowered his hands to see his brother shaking his head. As much as the hunter wanted to deny it, he had killed those children before he'd said yes. He had even killed more special children since they had learned Azazel was alive again. Sam had murdered innocents to keep them innocent to stop them turning evil. The irony hadn't fallen on deaf ears; the Winchester had known what he was doing was pushing him down the slippery slope that Dean had warned him so many times previously. "No Dean I did this. I've been killing Azazel's children for months while I downed demon blood." He pulled away gently from his brother. It was still an odd sensation to not have to fight with his body for it to move any more. He knew how much Dean hated even the mention of demon blood, but it had all been him. "It's on me. I said 'yes' to him. I released him again and gave him a ride out of Hell."The younger Winchesters eyes went wide. "Dean! You need to leave me. I can feel him gaining more control over me. Its a constant game of tug of war and I'm weaker." He tried pushing himself back further, but his arms wouldn't move as he wanted. "I won't let him hurt you... but please... I can't hold him forever. GO!" He shouted in the hope that Dean would listen. Sam knew full well that both Dean and Lucifer wouldn't listen to him or consider his wishes. In moments like this, he knew Dean wouldn't leave him, and the Devil wouldn't either. Sam couldn't watch as his hands beat the life out of his brother like before in the cemetery, that would be the final piece of his destruction. There was only so much the human could stop the angel from doing. The more he fought, the less he could the next time. He'd been fighting Lucifer for almost a year, and he didn't know how much strength he had left. "Dean, please."All three of them knew that if Dean were to get hurt or worse, killed by Sam's hands, then the hunter would lose all ability to fight against his captor anymore. Was that Lucifer's plan now? Tag: DEAN WINCHESTER Notes: Damn you! Luci was going to be in control but I want to make it bro bonding now! Words: 465

JUST seeing his brother in control again, him standing before him and it feels like his entire goddamn world was crashing down, because he knew it was only a matter of time before Sammy lost control and Lucifer was back in charge, he had to act quick, while he still had Samin front of him. It’s been... months since he has had the chance to talk to his brother and it’s taken all of his willpower to stop himself from doing something stupid to get Sam back, to not look back, just get Sam back. His heart was heavy and the room around them felt like it was spinnin’. God he definitely was gonna be sick to his stomach. The nausea setting in and the heartache when Sam finally spoke to him. Sam, not Lucifer, and it actually took him a second for him to register what he was sayin' and he could've sworn Sam was actually blaming himself for this mess.
He shook his head as Sam pushed him back from his embrace, trying to collect himself. "Dammit Sammy, no. I told you, this is on him. We've been down this road before and we both have come out the other side. Demon blood or no demon blood." He replied, his tone fierce and determined. Despite him on demon blood again he knew Sammy could fight against it, he'd done it before and he would do it again, Lucifer be damned. Flexing and splaying his finger, he shook them out from the constant clenching he done, causing an ache to his palms before wiping the sweat from them down both sides of his flank as he looked at his brother who looked like he was just learning how to walk.
Following Sam's every move, he watched as his brother's eyes suddenly went wide, creating more distance between the two of them as he told him that he needed to leave him, that Lucifer was gaining more control. Dean shook his head as he closed the distance between them and placed his hand roughly on his shoulder as to hold him upright. "I'm not leaving you, ever!" Dean didn't know how many times he has had to tell Sam this, he would never leave his brother behind, devil or no devil. Now that he knew where Sam was, the last thing he was gonna do was just leave. There was no Dean with Sam, ask anyone and they would tell them the same thing. The two were a pair, never one without the other. The deepest bond that exists on earth is the one between two brothers. That didn't change, not even now with Sam once more being possessed by Lucifer. The two had fought against Lucifer before and had won, this time was no different.
'I won't let him hurt you... but please... I can't hold him forever. GO!'
Dean shook his head at Sam's plead, for him to just leave him. He knew he should, turn and walk out that door, but this was Sam. His baby brother, the one person who he had promised to take care of, to always protect. But even now he knew this brief control Sam had was temporary. He could feel it freeze his core, something deep inside him was telling him to listen to Sam for once. The ice that was forming around his heart, the un-shed tears that pricked at his eyes, the barbs that stabbed into him all over every time he got that sinking feeling that, this was it.
He had to laugh, at the cruel irony of his life. He was the glue to everyone he met, to everyone who was close to him. He was always giving, always helping, always saving. Always picking up the pieces and putting them back together, fixing the shattered, ruined remains after life decided to sock you in the face. What did he get in return? A brother who was possessed by the devil himself and a never ending list of Apocalypses. Yay for him! It didn’t really matter though, he’d do anything for his family, or for those he really cared about... not that there was much of them left anymore.
'Dean please.' Once more he pleaded, trying to get him to see reason, that him staying was suicide. "No Sammy. I'm not gonna just leave you, not when I finally found you! C'mon man. There's gotta be someway to get the son of a bitch out of you once and for all." This time he was pleading, asking for anything that Sam knew from being in Lucifer's head that could give them an edge. Anything that would put them in the lead of this never ending battle, anything that would free Sam and give him his brother back, to send Lucifer made to where he belonged once and for all. Anything. Anything at all that would give Dean the one thing he craved more than anything else right now... hope.

Sam Winchester:
As Sam saw it, he wasn't possessed by Lucifer when he downed the blood and killed the teenagers. It was all him. It had always been him. No matter how many times Dean said it Sam would know it was him. He used to blame the demon blood, Azazel, their father, Lucifer and God himself, but he knew it was always him. "We both may not want to admit it but it was me." He looked down and shook his head. "It's all my fault. I choose to drink the blood of free will." It may have been out of fear, not for himself but Dean and his family. "I choose to make a deal with Kol. It's all me."They may have come out the other side but look how it had damaged both them but also their effect on the world. Every time they tried to fix things, they just screwed it up further. He couldn't do that again. The more he thought about what he had done; the more horrific things came back to him. "Jess! Oh, gosh." He had found her again and started to fill her in on the truth and yet again he had lost her. This time it was him that disappeared. What did she think happened? Did she think that he upped and left or did she think that he had died? Either way, he had to get some the truth to her. "No matter how this ends tell her..." What on Earth could he tell her? He had let the Devil in and abandoned her to save his nephew from taking his space. "Make sure she knows I didn't just abandon her, please, Dean." Then their was Bobby and Ben as well. How could he apologize or make up for what he had done?Sam would have bet his life on the fact that Dean wouldn't leave him, but he had to ask and try to get his elder brother to see sense before it was too late. The more Sam thought about the truth, the more he just wanted to bury his head and hide from it all. The worst thing was he knew he couldn't, well, he could. He could let Lucifer take control or kill him, and that would be his way out, but he wouldn't do that. Not to Dean. Sam could see the defeat in his brothers eyes. It was as if it was being mirrored back to him. They both had lost hope. The only hope they had was to save the other, and it was a vicious cycle. Sam had tried to save Dean pain by taking on Lucifer instead of Ben, but he should have known that Dean wouldn't give up on him no matter how much he asked. As Dean pleaded with some answers to get Lucifer out he paused. There was away. He had planned for it, but it was always a long shot and hung on hope to see if it would work. "I made a deal with Kol. I acquired some cursed objec-" He stopped talking. The human had locked some things away in his mind away from Lucifer. The dark objects and some memories had been stored there. Sam had hoped to tell Ben the location before he fell into the cage, but it didn't happen. The human managed to swap the book of the damned for some dark objects, and he managed to keep an archangel blade there from the bunker as well. The plan to use them against Lucifer had failed when he was whipped straight down to the pit without them. As soon as the human thought about them the lock was open and Lucifer could gain the information too. The last of Sam's soul was open to Lucifer in hopes to stop him, but he couldn't get the words out. The human tried to speak, but his lips were moving, but nothing came out. Lucifer was gaining more control slowly but surely. He tried to mouth 'Dean run' but before he could Lucifer started talking again. "Thank you Dean. There was one tiny part of Sammy I couldn't break into, but he opened it for you and therefor me." Sam's arms spread to the side and stood tall as if being crucified. His body moved a few feet off the ground. The voice and body was in control of the Devil, but the eyes were Sammy's. Sam could see all of what was happening but could do nothing to stop it. As Sam rose up his midriff was visible. This revealed some of the mark left on Sam's body due to the binding spell cast by Rowena. "If you wanted to crucify your brother, you could have done it outright." There was a brief pause. "On second thoughts... Have fun. Buh bye." Sam fell from the air as if he had just been dropped. That was exactly what happened. Lucifer had gone dormant knowing he would have the last laugh in the end. Sam landed hard on the wooden flooring unconscious and with no control. When Sam woke up Lucifer had left one last little trick to screw with the brothers a little more. He knew what would be the end of Sammy's fight and the idea would be set in motion as soon as Sam woke up and smelt the coffee.

DEAN knew it wasn't Sam's fault for any of this, it was Lucifer's. He would blame that son of a bitch for everything that had happened. From the beginning, he had come to realize that Lucifer had been playing them both, had set all of this shit into motion. Even though he knew it wasn't Sam's fault, Sam would always blame himself... much like he often did, guess Sam took after him on that aspect. Sure enough, Dean listened to Sam say how it was his fault, that he chose to drink the blood, that he made the deal with Kol. Dean shook his head, not agreeing with him because he refused to do so. "I'm not believin' that one bit. Whether you want to believe it or not, this isn't on you." He reiterated, again. Sam needed to get it through his thick skull that this was all Lucifer's doing, all his fault, and he was who was to blame. Not him, not Sam. Lucifer.
It seemed that Sam was relieving everything that Lucifer had made him do, because he mentioned Jess. The older Winchester could see the guilt wash over him like cold shower. 'No matter how this ends tell her... Make sure she knows I didn't just abandon her, please, Dean.' Dean shook his head, because with the way Sammy was talkin' it was like he was saying goodbye and he couldn't and wouldn't accept that. "You can tell her yourself when we get you out of this. I'm not givin' up on you Sam." He replied back as a matter of fact, trying to get through his brother's thick skull that he wasn't going anywhere, no matter what he said or did. Dean was willing to go up against the devil himself years ago to save him, so what made him think he was gonna go anywhere now? This was no different.
As Dean asked Sam if he had come up with a way to get Lucifer out, Sam nodded and stated how he had made a deal with Kol, that he'd gotten his hands on some cursed objects. "And?" He replied as Sam abruptly stopped talking. Where were the objects located? Where did Kol come into play? How were the objects going to help get Lucifer out of Sam? He needed more information than what Sam had given him and he was desperate for him to continue, but then he realized what was happening: Lucifer was gaining back control over Sam and he took several steps back from his brother and then, just like that, Lucifer was talkin.' 'Thank you Dean. There was one tiny part of Sammy I couldn't break into, but he opened it for you and therefor me.' Dean's jaw and fists clenched tightly as he listened to Lucifer speak, seething in his spot. He knew he couldn't take on Lucifer alone, so he was at a loss on what to do. What could he do?
Dean's eyes then widened, mouth slightly agape, as he watched as Sam's arms spread to the side and stood tall as if he were being crucified. His body hovering a few feet off the ground. What the hell was happening? What was Lucifer doing to his brother. "Stop it you bitch!" He yelled, slightly in panic mode at his brother's state. What the hell was Lucifer doing? What was he tryin' to prove? Dean was at a loss and then he watched as Sam... Lucifer, rose up his shirt so that his stomach was exposed, showing a mark that was on his body. 'If you wanted to crucify your brother, you could have done it outright. On second thought... Have fun. Buh bye.' And just like that, Lucifer was gone once more and Sam dropped to the ground, unconscious. Dean quickly was at his brother's body as he kneeled down, shaking Sam. "Sam? Sammy?!" What the hell had Lucifer done?
Come on Sam, wake up. Please for the love of God, wake up.

Sam Winchester:
As the human lands on the floor, all the agony that his body went through came back to him. All of what Lucifer had put Sam's body through had returned. He could feel every bruise and every bump he had done recently. Sam groaned as he slowly regains consciousness. THe felt as if he had just ran ten rounds with a vampire nest or a shape shifter. But, when he opens his eyes,,,, it wasn't a monster that met his gaze but his brother. Dean looked terrified. What had happened? There was so much brain fog that he was struggling to remember anything. "Dean?" His brother's face had just come into focus. His eyes had just finished adjusting to the light. 'Why did it take so long to focus? Why does the light hurt his eyes so much? Why is everything so slow?' Sam thought to himself. Had he been attacked or turned into a vampire? He couldn't remember anything from about twenty seconds previously. Sam sat up and grimiced as it felt as if had broken at least one rib from the fall. "Dean? What happened?" The human sounded fragile and confused. Why was Dean looking so scared? Why was he here? Where even was here? Things came flooding back to him. Sam could see this as the bunkers basement. It had taken a few seconds for him to process the information. He didn't come to this part of the bunker often but why was he on the floor. Sam thought back to when Gadreel had possessed him. Was this another angel possession that Dean was trying to hide? Had he started to black out again due to hunt they had been on? Then it came back to him. Sam had been trying to cure Dean from being a demon. He had nearly succeeded but Dean had broken free. Dean had been chasing him and had been trying to kill him. What the human didn't realise was that Lucifer had used previous memories to twist the present to toy with the Winchesters. As Dean blinked Sam sat bolt upright pushing himself quickly away from his brother. Something wasn't right. He hadn't finished the ritual and Dean wasn't human. The bunker's warning lights were flashing red, something had gotten in to the bunker, or had got free. As Dean blinked Sam could see his brother but with black eyes. He hadn't gotten as far as he had thought. The hunter pushed his way back with one hand and the other held out in a defensive move until he could push himself to his feet. Sam had one hand raised to keep distance between Dean and himself. Sam kept his eyes intently on his brother. This was all a ploy to get Sam to trust him and for what? To finish the job? Sam kept backing up slowly until he felt something hit his back. He moved across the wall in hopes of a door way. "Stay back! I will get my brother back, no matter what." He kept moving as he was talking in hopes to distract his brother long enough to find some sort of weapon or escape. Sam finally finds the door way to the house's kitchen. He thinks it is a set of stairs out of the basement but as he exits through it he finds himself in the bunker kitchen. This only confuses the hunter more. How did he get from there to the kitchen so quick with no memory of how? Again Sam doesn't realise that it is the Devil meddling with his memories and reality to screw with the brothers. Sam cannot comprehend how he got there so quickly but as he is in denial his brain quickly finds a justification for it. He couldn't deal with that on top of the truth of his reality being a lie so his brain found a way to comfort him and fill in the blank. The adrenaline from the fight had made it so that he didn't realise how fast he was going. Did he want to stay in denial than have to face the truth? Had the hunters brain tried to save what little sanity of his that was left? Sam quickly searched the room and came to the knife block. Of course he saw it as the bunkers knife block upon the side. Sam rushed over and grabbed a blade from the block. Something wasn't right... the distance between the doorway and the side was too short but somehow he had reached it by taking less steps. Was the human starting to break the illusion he had been put into? Sam heard a noise and turned to face the way he had come. He held the knife up as a figure filled the doorway. "I don't want to hurt you, stay back."

DEAN was beginning to panic as minutes ticked away, Sam still unconscious on the floor, knocked out from Lucifer. "Dammit, Sammy! C'mon man, wake up." He begged, shaking his brother's body slightly in an attempt to get him to wake up. Come on Sam, wake up. Please for the love of God, wake up. Why wasn't he waking up? What did that son of a bitch do to his brother? Was Lucifer gone? Had he left Sam completely? Surely not, he hadn't seen any signs of him leaving Sam's body. None of this was making a lick of sense and he had no answers to any of his questions. The longer Sam remained knocked out, the more distressed Dean became. He was quickly running out of options and he was about to call Cas and Bobby for help, going to pull out his phone to call one or both of them to come here and help. But before he could Sam suddenly woke up, gasping for air. Looking rather confused and groaned as he slowly regained consciousness.
'Dean?' Sam exclaimed and Dean let out a much needed breath of air, relieved that Sam was okay. He then asked what had happened and now Dean was confused. Did he not remember anything? He looked confused as hell, like he had just come out of a coma, not really knowing what was happening. "Sam? The hell dude. You just passed out after Lucifer up and poofed." He replied, looking over his brother like he always did after a hunt or when Sammy got hurt. So far it looked like he could've broken a rib or two and was pretty banged up, but that was about it, besides the psychological aftermath of Lucifer's hold on him. But none of this was sitting right with Dean, Lucifer had just vanished? Was he still inside Sam? What the actual hell was going on here?
Before Dean could ask other questions, Sam suddenly bolted upright pushing himself quickly away from him, as if he were scared of him or something. "Sam? What's going on?" He questions as he slowly rose to his feet. Something definitely wasn't right, especially when he held out a hand in a defensive manner, as if to signal for him to stay back. Sam continued backing up slowly away from him until his back hit the wall. 'Stay back! I will get my brother back, no matter what.' He exclaimed, now Dean was officially freaked the hell out. "Sam, the hell are you goin' on about? It's me, Dean." He replied, hands up as if to signal to him that he meant no harm and wasn't going to hurt him. All he wanted to do was help him out and now Sam thought he was after him? None of this was making any sense.
Dean continued slowly following Sam around the house, him going into the house's kitchen searching for something until it landed on the knife block. Ah hell. Sam grabbed a blade from the block and held the knife up to him as he neared the doorway. 'I don't want to hurt you, stay back.' Hands still up, he looked at his brother who looked like he was going out of his mind. Slowly he inched forward, proceeding forward with caution as he neared his brother. "Sam, listen to me. It's me, Dean. Your brother. I'm not whatever your thinkin.' Lucifer's cooked up something inside of your brain that's causing you to hallucinate. Whatever you're seeing, isn't' real." He explained, trying to get Sam to see reason. If push comes to shove, he would knock out Sam and call for help. Bobby or Cas, someone. Anyone at all who could possibly help him in this situation because Dean was honestly at a loss of words. All he knew was that he needed to figure out a way to save his brother and fast.

Sam Winchester:
It took Sam a few minutes to regain consciousness it had been a while since he had control of his movements and took time for his brain and body to connect again completely. When the human did finally wake up, the brain fog was thick and all he knew for a few seconds was that Dean was there for him. For the first time in ages, he felt safe and as if it was back in the old days. But, as usual, it was too good to be true. Reality was shattered for the Winchester again as he saw Dean's black eyes. The curse of being a Winchester would mean that they would never be free from the monsters under the bed, but they would fight until Death finally came for them. They had beaten the devil before, they had even fought Gods of truth, vampires, demons, angels and became the monsters they hunted they found a way back to each other, but this felt different. Sam would never kill his brother; there would be a way to bring Dean back, but only if Dean wanted saving. The younger brother knew that Dean didn't want saving when he became a Knight of Hell."Sam? The hell dude. You just passed out after Lucifer up and poofed." Why was Dean talking about Lucifer? Lucifer was long gone. It had been years in Sam's eyes since the Devil had been sent to the cage. "Why bring him up?" Sam had never spoken to Dean about what happened to him in the pit. Talking about it would do nothing but bring it all back up again. The hunter shivered as he said the word 'him'. He couldn't even say Lucifer's name, how could he talk about it or even try to remember it? Was Dean bringing him up now to torture him or push him off the path of saving him?"It's me, Dean." Dean was technically correct, even as a demon he was still Dean but he wasn't the Dean he knew. He wasn't his brother. "You are not my brother, not yet." He shook his head slowly. "STOP saying his name! He's long gone. I sent him Hell four years ago. He isn't coming back." Sam@dean was always worried that Lucifer would come back and retake him, but he was adamant he wouldn't say yes again, not after last time. There would only be one reason he would and right now that reason was trying to kill him; family."Just let me cure you, please. It's just a few more injections" He groaned as he raised the knife higher and one of his injuries pained him. The last he checked he was uninjured except his shoulder. Wait, the arm he was holding the knife in was sprained last time. Sam grabbed for his chest as his rib twinged again. "ow." He looked from his hand back up to Dean, something wasn't right. "Dean? What the heck is going on?" When Dean was a demon he never kept his eyes black for this long, especially while trying to make Sam trust him. "Somethings wrong."The human tried to think back to how they got here and nothing came up. He tried to think about the last thing he could remember, and nothing came up. The last thing that he could remember was being in Hell, no. It was actually Lilith grabbing his shoulder to take him somewhere. "Dean?" Then it quickly changed back to the sacrifices in Hell. He tried to take a step back as the vision changed again. His heart rate increased as he was losing his grip upon what was happening and where he was. Was this shock, or was this just the hunter beginning to panic?
