Plot with Raf

RAFAELALEXWAITHE

Raf's biological mother died shortly after he was born and he was handed over to the family that had been lined up to adopt him. His adoptive parents gave him a loving home until he was ten when the two of them were killed in a home invasion gone wrong and since then he has been bouncing around the foster care system. His adoptive parents weren't perfect, they argued and broke up often but always got back together and even though his life with them wasn't exactly stable it was better than what came next. He moved around from one abusive foster home to another before finally ending up with Hector and Maria Gonzales some time ago. They took him in and gave him a home and even though Hector could be violent he didn't lost his temper as often as Raf was used to his foster parents doing so. They took in another boy named Landon who would become his best friend and Raf often ended up taking beatings so that Landon wouldn't have to. About six weeks ago he borrowed Hector's car and crashed it after taking a corner too fast on a rainy night and the accident not only claimed the life of Raf's girlfriend it also resulted in him triggering his werewolf curse. He got out of hospital a few days later only to end up being beaten by Hector for crashing the car and soon he is going to be facing his second full moon as a werewolf as well as transferring from Mystic Falls High to the Salvatore School.

Friends;; Despite his messy upbringing Raf is still a charismatic young man who knows how to pick good friends and knows who to stay away from. He is often popular among his classmates and he is outgoing but when someone tries to befriend him because they think it will benefit them in some way or because they want something else from him he is usually quick to call them out on it. At the moment his only real friend is Landon but I would love him to have more both from his time at Mystic Falls High and now the Salvatore School as well.

Enemies;; Throughout his life Raf has always had to deal with people who are jealous of him for being popular and he isn't afraid to call people out if they are doing something that he doesn't like so he will have gained some people who don't like him along the way. After everything he has been through he also doesn't like being told what to do by people his own age who think they are better than he is or know better than he does and he will often resist.

Lovers;; Raf has had a few exes in the past but the most notable is Cassie. The two of them were together for about six months before the crash and Raf was starting to think that he was falling in love with her just before she died. Now he is nursing a broken heart and is racked with guilt over what happened so it probably be a while before he is ready for something more but he'll try to be open to it when it does happen.
