Alysia is Evan’s best friend and a potential love interest for him.
There are two ways that this could go.
Option one
The first is that they met during their first year at Whitmore and have been each other’s confidant ever since then. Three years ago Evan told Alysia that he was in love with her and he hasn't seen or heard from her since. She disappeared from Whitmore and broke his heart in the process but not because of the reason he suspects, she disappeared because she sensed his death.
Growing up Alysia never thought she was different to the other kids around her until she was sixteen or seventeen and she started hearing voices which led her to a few bodies in her home town. She was given medication to drown out the voices and it worked, giving her the chance to live a normal life and go to college where she completed her undergraduate degree and continued on to do a postgraduate course which would last a few years.
The voices never returned until around the time that Evan told her that he loved her and the two of them kissed. That was the moment when Alysia sensed his death. Terrified of losing her best friend, and possibly the person that she felt more for as well, she left Whitmore and returned home to her parents, ignoring all of the voicemails and messages from Evan while she was there.
While she was at home and learned that her grandmother had heard voices too and after doing some digging she learned that it was something that was common for the women in her family although it seemed to have skipped her mother – she was a banshee. The women in her family have had a harbinger connection to the hellhound known as Halwyn for centuries, the same hellhound that Evan’s biological father was the vessel for when he was conceived and the same hellhound that Evan is now the vessel for. Alysia will hopefully be the one to tell Evan what he has become once she figures it out and they will figure it all out together. She has been experimented on by the Dread Doctors either shortly after she left or on her return and turned into a mix of a banshee and a species that is immortal, preferably a vampire or kitstune but that side of her is open. Now she is being drawn back to Whitmore (and to Evan) although she has yet to figure out why.

The second option is that Alysia is possibly someone in the same year at med school as Evan or perhaps even a patient of his while he was doing his rounds. They had an instant connection but neither of them understood why and it was Alysia's abilities that came to light first although again she was experimented on by the Dread Doctors and turned into aa chimera that was immortal. She had already learned how to use her banshee abilities or had started to learn and together they figured out that Evan was a hellhound with Alysia being able to speak to Halwyn directly and learn the story from him so she could relay it to Evan.
The romantic connection is something that I would like as I've always loved the hellhound/banshee connection but it isn't a deal breaker. More than anything I want him to have the harbinger connection and either way she'll still be his best friend so if you're interested let me know!
