That could work, he is making more friends outside of the group and he has a habit of helping new vampires and ones that don't know how to control themselves at the moment. Maybe Stefan could catch her feeding and they could go from there?

I have to admit the friendship between these two is something that I have always had a soft spot for although they will be on opposing sides now since Stefan wants to protect all three doppelgangers although he won't admit that he wants to stop Katherine getting hurt. At the moment Stefan knows that the Original vampire family is after a doppelganger but he doesn't know why. Elijah has told him to keep Tatia safe but he would have done that anyway since she is living at the Boarding House. Since Steph hasn't been around it might be good to avoid compulsion for now and perhaps have Klaus bring back his memories and Stefan could then try and use their old friendship to reason with him?

I think Stefan would probably know it was a futile attempt but it wouldn't stop him from trying  He would try and convince Klaus that there has to be another way to spare both of them anyway. At the moment Stefan isn't sure what the doppelganger is needed for, he just knows that Klaus is after Elena so I don't know if you would want Klaus to gloat about what his plan is or for Stefan to call his bluff and act like he already knows. What do you think? Klaus compelling him to remember their friendship would definitely be fun since the memories would all hit Stefan at once.

I agree, these two definitely need to thread  I really like your idea of them running into each other while Stefan is on his way to school and Rebekah enrolling to be close to him. I think Stefan will feel bad for not remembering her and it will definitely be interesting when Klaus undoes the compulsion and everything comes running back. I think he will be quite confused to begin with but when he learns about their past and what they were like together he will do what he can to help her fit in and he might try and enlist her help with keeping all three of the doppelgangers safe too.

@malia Something definitely needs to happen between these two! I think you're right, my Stefan has never had a thread with one of your characters so we really need to change that. I could definitely see these two becoming friends, as unlikely a friendship as that may be. I've actually been wanting to form some friendships between characters from the shows so that works perfectly. Him following her works for me, he could possibly even help try and calm her down if you like. He has experience trying to control his bloodlust so he might be able to offer her a bit of advice.

I need to check with @rissy but I think we were going to have it that Klaus decides to mess with Stefan and compels him to remember Chicago. We can either do a thread before that happens or one after if you like? That way Stefan will remember everything and would probably feel a bit guilty about forgetting about her. He is wary of the Mikaelsons at the moment though, Elijah has warned him that Klaus wants to use Tatia or Elena in the ritual while Klaus is going after people he cares about so I'm not too sure how he'll rect to Rebekah at first. I haven't really got very far with plotting with previous people who played her in the past so I'm up for anything!
