These two definitely have a lot of catching up to do. Matt has just found himself thrown into the supernatural world without actually knowing about it beforehand and he hasn't confided in anyone yet so I think it would be good if they're both able to do that. We could either have them catch up and play video games or something or have one or both of them get attacked around town and trigger things that way, what do you think? @lauren
Yes, Matt could definitely use that! His own mother was useless and deep down he has been struggling ever since, even more so now that he has no idea what has happened to him, so I think that could be just what he needs. Maybe Matt could be out in the woods somewhere trying to figure out where his skills with a sword have come from and she could recognise the kitsune natural talent or something? Or they could bump into each other at the Grill or something first before finding out what is going on. CAROLINE FORBES
You're right, we really need to change that! I'm definitely up for that, I think some time with Caroline is just what he needs to start feeling like himself again.

We definitely do! I think that sounds great, with everything that they're both going through I think they need each other now more than ever so it would be good to get their friendship back on track. Do you want to start this one by having Tyler approach Matt after practice?

Matt is completely new to all of this so I think it would be good for him to have someone who can help him learn to control his temper. Being turned into a kitsune isn't supposed to be possible so I imagine it will cause quite a bit of confusion when the truth comes out  Do you want to make this one or do you want me to?

To be honest these two were together when Rissy played Care but I wasn't sure if whoever had her next would want to be bound by that. I haven't really mentioned whether they are together or not lately so we can go with it either way.
Not much really happened for these two, Matt has been busy working at the Grill and I said that he tried to spend as much time with Caroline as he could but that is about it. He disappeared for a week a while ago which left everyone worried about him and when he turned up again he was a Kitsune, he killed a creature that attacked him, he found out the truth about what happened to Vicki and he nearly cut Damon's head off so he has been doing his best to try and deal with all of that.

I can as well! Like in the show Ric will eventually become the only father figure Matt has ever really known so I think he would do his best to look out for Layla. Already knowing each other definitely works for me. Maybe if Layla was at the Grill as his shift was finishing he could have recognised her from school and offered her a ride home and they could have started getting to know each other from there?

That works for me, yeah. This time it is Matt who is going through a transformation into something supernatural and he learned that at least some of his friends have been lying to him for a long time so he has pulled away from everyone a bit, it would do be good for him to have Caroline around to keep him grounded. If Caroline is going to be seeking him out would you mind starting this one?

I think a more social thread for the two of them would be good, maybe they have talked a bit at school and could then either arrange to meet up at the Grill or they could bump into each other there? Matt has been keeping his distance from the others lately so it would be good for him to have someone to speak to.

I had to share the love with you and throw another thread in your direction of course.  Since Matt and Tyler have been friends forever I figure Mason probably at least knows him by sight. Since Mason's been in town he's been trying to keep Tyler from triggering his curse. He's not been having much luck with Tyler, so Mason would probably head to the next best course of information and come looking for Matt to see if he's got any sort of advice on getting through to Tyler.
