— are you a man or a monster? —
A barely amused look flashed across Elio's features as he looked at the naked figure that came out of the bedroom, painting a visual picture of what the man had been doing prior to leaving the room which made his expression shift into one of disgust next as he closed the door behind him with a little more force than necessary. “Dude,” Elio called out, his voice giving away the fact that he was less than impressed by what he was seeing. “Not everyone wants to see — that.” Elio made a gesture to his naked form. He wasn't shy, by any means, but you can imagine just how many naked bodies Elio had seen ever since he started living with his mom. Needless to say, he has seen enough buck naked bodies to last him a lifetime and not to mention the fact that she always kept him awake at night with those loud noises emitting from her room. It made him want to barge in, but he knew that what he'd see would probably scar him for life and he'd rather not see something like that.
Elio considered bringing guys to his room to return the favor, but then that would mean actually getting to know guys long enough to bring them back with him for a meaningless one night stand and honestly, the idea did not appeal to him as much and it almost made him wonder if he was actually Hannya's son, seeing how sex-driven the woman was. Elio cringed at the thought and blinked out of it so he could toss that thought aside for now to focus back on that Remzi naked dude. “Fuckin' gross.” Elio grumbled as he made his way deeper into the apartment, wondering what will happen if he just downs the whole bottle of alcohol in his hand in one go. He wondered if it would even be enough to wipe the mental image of Remzi with his mom. He doubted it. “Hope you're enjoyin' your stay with us.” Elio offered with a fake little smile resting on his lips as he looked over his shoulder at the guy before the smile dropped altogether. “Hope you fuck off soon.” Elio rudely added before he began making his way into the kitchen to put away the things he'd gotten — for himself, he's not going to do their grocery shopping, too — all while hoping that the guy would suddenly receive the worst message that'd get him running out of the apartment so that Elio wouldn't have to see his face or his — other body parts ever again.

━ like sisyphus pushing that rock uphill ━ REMZI COULDN’T REALLY TELL THAT HANNYA was getting tired of him. They still did the same shit they’d done before━when Raik had first died, and then Leah ruined whatever they had━so he didn’t know how she could be. Remzi wasn’t bored. He did realize, at some point, that Hannya had torn him from Leah, but that was Leah’s own fault. She went back on their deal, the one he was clearly honouring (until that point).
Now he had fuck all to do during the days. Actuaaallly, that dude Manny had hit him up for some work, so he was probs gonna be on that soon. Then he’d give Hannya some money for rent or some shit━did she even pay rent? Or did she have some kinda… demon discount? Or did her “boarder” pay the majority? She’d said he was her kid, but Remzi wasn’t stupid enough to believe her. He wasn’t gonna fall for that shit.
Anyway, the “son” probably didn’t even fuckin’ exist. Once in a while, Remzi heard, like, someone rummaging around and shit, but he’d never actually seen this dude. The whole thing had t’be some kinda fuckin mind game. Remzi was sure, and he wasn’t gonna get fuckin’ wrapped up in it.
But when he walked out of her room━headed to the fridge for a blood bag━he froze in the doorway, spotting the “kid”━who clearly saw him, too.
“You sure?” Remzi scoffed, not embarrassed one bit, though it was only slightly weird. He’d been in a locker room before. He’d been in an o*gy before━this wasn’t that crazy.
“Dude, you’re saying gross, but I don’t know why you’re all offended,” He scoffed. “You never been at, like, gym class or some shit?” Maybe not, with how fucking scrawny he was.
Remzi dipped back into the bedroom, retrieved a pair of boxer briefs, slipped them on and padded back out, aiming for the fridge once more. “Damn, kid, you’re rude. Your mom never beat that outta you?” Remzi was kind of a shit disturber, too, but his mom laid out the smacks like nobody’s business. Whatever kinky shit this guy had going on with Hannya probably had him getting disciplined in the same way Remzi did. “You should tell Hannya you need more spankings.” He snickered to himself as he pulled open the fridge and grabbed a blood bag, and then kept laughing as he drank it, needing to take breaks every few seconds ‘cause he cracked himself up so much. Fuck, he was funny as hell.

Elio's lips stretched into a thin-lipped smile, not quite reaching his eyes and not at all genuine either. "Positive." He offered, his smile dropping not long after as he looked away with a roll of his eyes following. He wondered if it was too early for him to pack his things and be the first one to move out after finding his mom again after searching for her for so long. Elio looked over his shoulder at the other guy before he let out a scoff. "It's different." Elio grumbled with a shake of his head following. He wasn't a gym type of guy - but even if he was, he wouldn't be shy around the naked bodies or half-naked, for that matter. But he knew that the dude was looking like this because he was sleeping with his mom, so it was different and it made him feel bitter, to say the least.
Elio turned to look at the other all while fishing his cigarette pack out of his pocket, letting out a scoff when he called him a kid and rude. "Not really, no. She likes it, actually." Elio voiced while fishing out a cigarette before putting it between his lips, lighting it not long after. He tossed the lighter onto the counter not long after.
"Sure, tell her for me. She might end up doing it to you, too." Elio took the cigarette from between his lips to blow the smoke into the air. "The fuck are you doing here anyway? Aren't you too old to be crashing at other people's places?" Elio asked with a quirked brow, his head tilted slightly to the side as he looked at the other with a hint of curiosity in his expression but it was shadowed over by his rudeness and the fact that he wasn't sugar-coating his own words. "Running from something? Someone?" Elio prodded even further as he leaned back against the kitchen island.
"Did your mom never teach you to not overstay your welcome?" Elio questioned with a hint of mocking in the tone of his voice as he moved the cigarette back between his lips, taking a much-needed drag before moving it away not long after.

━ like sisyphus pushing that rock uphill ━ YEAH, SURE, IT WAS DIFFERENT━‘SPECIALLY when you were that weird kid in the corner who stared for a little too long. Not that Remzi believed this kid had ever played a sport in his life, but that was beside the point━they made you do P.E. Unless you were Remzi and you didn’t go to school half the time anyway.
She liked it when he was rude? Yeah, no way Hannya was his mom. Not even ‘cause moms didn’t like bad behaviour, but also ‘cause it just sounded weird. Remzi wasn’t dumb enough to believe a word of it. Also, did Hannya not smack those fuckin’ cigarettes outta his mouth? Hannya didn’t seem like the type to care, and maybe Remzi wouldn’t, either, but smoking a jo*nt was different than a cigarette. And, really, was this kid raised in a fucking barn?
With something covering his junk, Remzi finally made it to the fridge and into a blood bag, eager to get another taste━especially ‘cause Hannya wasn’t around. “She already does, man.” Remzi chuckled, swallowing a mouthful from the bag and tossing another into the microwave. He couldn’t wait for the first, but they were always better warm.
And honestly, he didn’t pick up on the kid’s prodding at first. Remzi wasn’t smart━or invested in this conversation━enough to figure out what he was doing. “S’called life, kid━shit throws spirals or whatever.” Not to mention his heartbreak from Leah’s betrayal, but he wasn’t gonna get into that now. That, however, made him feel heavy in the chest, finally hitting the mark the kid was looking for. “Ain’t you too old to be living at home?” He asked, smirking as he finished the last of the blood bag and left it deflated on the counter.
Remzi turned, leaning against the counter beside the microwave as it spun, seeing the kid’s face easily from here. He didn’t even look like Hannya, not to mention that she’d be, like, ten when she had him. “‘Course she did, but I’m not overstaying. Your mom loves me being here ‘cause I always give it to her good.” He chuckled, though there was a heat behind it, an intensity like he was finally playing the game, testing, waiting to see who’d snap first. “She’d be heartbroken if I left.” Remzi snickered, then raised his brows, asking, “She’s not your real mom, right? Just, like, took you in or whatever? ‘Cause you’re too old for that shit. Unless that’s your thing with her, y’know━like a mommy kink.”

Elio wondered if it had been a wise thing to spend his time looking for Hannya in the first place. Maybe he should've never looked back — maybe he should've left her in the past. But it was easy to be angry at her, however, that anger never bloomed into anything more. It simmered away into something else and instead, he was left with an ugly feeling in his chest reminding her that no matter how much he hated the man in front of him, at least having him around guaranteed that Hannya wasn't going to go anywhere. Elio almost wanted to give her a taste of her own medicine, be the one to disappear first. But would his disappearance even make much of a difference? Probably not. He narrowed his eyes at the other guy before he released a scoff. "You're really fuckin' annoying, you know that, right?" Elio took the cigarette back between his lips, taking in a deep drag before lowering the cigarette down to exhale the smoke into the air. "I really don't care. M'not your shrink. I just want my peace and silence back for fuck's sake." Elio grumbled with a frown digging into his features.
"Yeah, well, I ain't gonna be here for long." Elio shrugged his shoulders, knowing it was inevitable for him to move out. Wasn't it part of the whole "growing up" process or whatever? But then again, whether Hannya would let him was a whole different story.
Elio narrowed his eyes at the other before he turned so he could put out the cigarette. "Again, annoying as fuck, actually." Elio commented casually with a smile straining his lips. "I wouldn't be, in case you were wondering." Heartbroken, that is. His next question was enough to make him almost laugh. "Yeah, dude. I have this huge mommy kink. You've got me all figured out." Elio nodded his head sarcastically. "Why do you wanna know? Wanna play my dad? I have a daddy kink, too. So it'll work, too." Elio wasn't the religious type but he was this close to dropping on his knees and praying for this dude to fuck off and never be seen again. But he was aware that there was no one up there to answer his prayer, so he didn't even bother. "What d'ya say, dad?"
