Evan O'Quinn
It was the anniversary of his younger siblings' death, and he had just finished taking down a vampire. It turned out it wasn't the one who killed the twins; if it was, they didn't remember. As time passed, Evan was less likely to find the culprit that destroyed his family. He didn't know that his sister had already killed him.
He was meant to be taking a break from vampire hunting after what happened last time. However, he just couldn't let it slide tonight. Evan went back to mackenzies and cleaned up. He made sure that she would be out when he returned. It was a good thing, too, as he now had a black eye and a possible broken finger. He couldn't go to the hospital as they wouldn't do anything for a ring finger, and even if they could, he didn't have the money. The last thing he wanted was if someone were to look for revenge and compel the hospital staff to check records and his name to come up.
That happened last time when he broke an arm and had significant blood loss. The vampire had put two and two together and almost killed him in an alley. He had been on his way back to the circus when he was jumped and left for dead. What would he tell the triplets if they had found out? They were none the wiser about his on the side hunting, and he wanted to keep it that way so as not to worry them.
He didn't want his sisters to see the bite mark on his neck. So he put on a scarf and went to the Grill for a drink to numb the pain in his hand and neck. The scarf matched his outfit to not look out of place in summer. He went into the bar and ordered a pint and a whisky. He then sat in a booth and nursed his hand. He downed the whiskey and hoped it kicked in soon as paracetamol did nothing to it.
Little did he know that even though he had washed and cleaned the wound and covered it with a small plaster, it was still bleeding, and therefore, anyone with advanced sense could smell it on him.
