An algebra exam. Three ethics papers to be turned in within two days of one another. An all nighter pulled to try and plot demonic omens from a series of towns on the Eastern seaboard. It was no wonder he’d staggered out of his last class of the day like he’d just fought a war … and lost. Stiles heard some classmates calling out behind him but by now voices had all blended together into the sort of ‘wah, wah, wah’ mess of a Charlie Brown special. If he was lucky he could crawl into Roscoe and make it the short drive back to Mystic Falls before he ended up comatose. There wasn’t gonna be anything pretty about his Jeep wrapped around a tree after all.
Wasn’t like he hadn’t come close before. Each time Roscoe had somehow managed to keep ticking but Stiles knew he wouldn’t be as lucky. He wasn’t a cat, he didn’t think he was gonna get nine lives. If he had, he thought as he paused and puffed his cheeks out, he was probably already down to just 2 or 3 at this point. That was what a stinking pile of curiosity and a serious string of bad luck got you. Maybe if Peter hadn’t been hiding out in the woods that night he’d heard about Kate Hale’s bisected body on the radio like a crappy B-Movie villain it would’ve been different but he had been. Peter had been the loose stone that had sent all the others skittering down the mountain side in a rock slide that threatened to swallow them all whole.
He was in town again too. Reason #148 why he was heading back to Mystic Falls this weekend instead of sleeping the next 12 hours straight in his dorm room and then holing up the 36 that would left of the weekend after that with Lydia. Her massaging his brain into top form … and that was only partly a metaphor these days.
Exhaustion still clung to him like a damn lead blanket but there was the oasis of the coffee truck on the edge of the quad. Stiles pressed his hands together in veneration as he headed for it, a bit of pep in his step for the first time since he’d walked into Algebra that afternoon. Throat dry, nerves now buzzing with anticipation Stiles joined the back of the queue. Everybody it seemed had headed straight for caffeine the minute last class had let out. Now the guy in front was taking a year to order his extra hot, extra wet, whipped, flat, double shot … whatever it was that was shopping list long.
Aw come on. One hand fisted around the strap of his back pack, Stiles leaned sideways and saw a familiar figure ahead. A dark tumble of hair, there’d be equally dark eyes when she turned. It was a toss up though. Elena or Tatia. Could’ve been either one and that was fine. ”Sorry man .. that’s my uh … hey, Elena!” Stiles clapped the kid ahead of him on the shoulder and darted ahead of him, hoping he was right. It was a fifty-fifty shot at least. Teeth flashing in a grin at her he scooted slightly ahead of her and turned. Butter wouldn’t have melted. ”Do a friend a solid?” he asked hopefully. Yep, definitely Elena rather than Tatia, he thought. They might’ve been doppelgangers but there were enough subtle differences he spotted over the months … to be entirely fooled on occasion.

SIMPLE FOOLINGS
SINCE KATHERINE'S LITTLE...RUNDOWN WITH the elder Salvatore brother and even her younger doppelgänger, she knew she would have to start playing safe. Safe being, learning to impersonate Elena a little more. Pick up her new actions and tactics as a vampire rather than sticking to the simple old ones the young brunette stuck to as a stupid human. So, before targeting Damon again or even Stefan, Katherine felt it was a better choice to fool those from out of town. And luckily in Whitmore College alone...There were at least a dozen to play with. Picking a day that Katherine had figured Elena wouldn't be around, the Pierce played dress up and tamed her curls to lifeless waves. Again, it was an Elena thing.
She spent her morning chewing away at the top of a pen, listening to the drawl of lecturers going on and on, and before the Pierce knew it, she lost focus deciding that spending her day as any normal teenager would was definitely a boring life. So instead she decided to skip the rest of Elena's classes...Or was it Tatia's? Who even cared? Walking through the doors of the cafeteria and pondering whether or not it was time for Katherine to leave - given her ... Terrible morning - she heard a name. Obviously not...Her name.
Turning her head in the direction of where it came from, Katherine's features softened, taking in the one familiar face she hadn't seen in a long while. That odd boy Stiles. God, what kind of name was Stiles. ”Hey...Stiles...” Katherine began, holding onto the side of her bag. "I'm...Tatia..." Forcing up a smile, the Pierce waited to see the boys reaction, but Katherine couldn't help herself. She began laughing, smiling wide as she looked at the human. "I'm kidding. But what's up?"

What had happened with Aiden and Ethan in Beacon Hills should’ve prepared him for the fact that twins could be even creepier than The Shining would have you believe but like with almost everything Mystic Falls had Beacon Hills beat there too. There weren’t just twins here, although they played it off that way sometimes to avoid the questions about where Elena, Stefan and Allison’s doppelgangers had mysteriously appeared from. There were doppelgangers, multiples in the sort of cable special TV show way. Three in Elena’s case, four? There was talk about one who’d started it all, the original – then there was Tatia, brought back here somehow just when the Mikealsons arrived, like that hadn’t been spooky enough, Elena and Katherine.
Stiles felt a faint shudder run down his spine as the brunette turned towards him. Katherine has the trouble maker by all accounts. She was the one who’d screwed up Klaus’ original ritual, leaving the Original to come to town after their arrival and kill Riley, Tatia and another girl from their high school to get his werewolf side back. She was also the one who’d turned Caroline. Being around Katherine was dangerous in the way that being around the tarantulas during biology felt. Like somehow you were in the presence of something deadly.
Maybe it was a sensation he should’ve listened to more but he pushed it out of his mind as he scrambled ahead in the queue towards Elena, leaving a string of complaining students behind him. Seeing Elena’s expression soften, Stiles let out a sigh, glad that he’d been right instead of playing what had to be the seriously irritating guess the doppelganger game. ”Hey…” he breathed before his voice cut out. He frowned, his mouth hanging open for a moment before he clamped it shut. Shit. Heat rose in his face slightly before he dragged a hand over it, trying to wipe the embarrassment away. ”I’m sorry, I mean you must get that all the time. Elena! Tatia! Katherine!” He flapped a hand back and forth in the air as he pretended to call out their names. Then of course she laughed and he let out a deeper breath.
Pressing his lips together Stiles narrowed his eyes at her. She’d almost had him there. Screw it, who was he kidding, she had him. He took a half step to the side as the queue moved forward, his lips twisting in a wry grin. ”That was real funny,” he drawled lightly. Stiles’ face screwed up as he looked back at the queue behind them, a good half dozen more people had joined it as classes had spilled out. ”Can I scoot in here? You know, get some coffee with a friend … buy a coffee for a friend. If you’re getting coffee?” He coulda just made conversation, made it a thousand times easier on himself but nope. When in the hell did he ever mange to do that? At this Stiles doubted he’d ever actually be able to name a time he had. Anybody else would’ve just got chatting with Elena about just about anything and smoothly grabbed a coffee when the line moved forward but nope, that was always gonna be way too easy.

SIMPLE FOOLINGS
NOW THAT KATHERINE HAD CONSIDERED it, everyone except Stefan, Elena and Damon were easy to convince if she had dressed as either Elena or Tatia and sounded like them. What was she doing wrong to fool the Salvatores and Elena herself? Even then, the Pierce felt somewhat bad for everyone that met Elena or the new scholar Tatia, considering there were four doppelgängers total. But something about being the middle doppelgänger was enough for the brunette to be completely mischievous. Hitting Stiles with the doppelgänger game, Katherine's smile only widened a bit once he stood next to her with a frown. She couldn't help but laugh once a flush rose to Stiles' face, laughing a little louder as he flapped his hands as he listed their names. "I do...I do..." She trailed off, shaking her head as even Katherine herself had been referred to the other doppelgängers, even when she looked like herself.
"Although, I'd prefer to be called Tatia over Katherine any day." Talking bad about herself seemed convincing...Right? Elena seemed to do it most times anyway. As the queue moved forward, Katherine slowly stepped forward with it, her hand holding her bag against her while her body turned to the human. "Oh come on. Lighten up." She smiled, nudging his side with her elbow. Stiles went on, asking if it was okay for him to queue with her for coffee, before pushing on the friend agenda in order to cut the queue. Turning her body away from Stiles for a brief moment, the Pierce's eyes rolled as he went on, but knowing Elena, the young Gilbert would be so...Kind. "I thought you were already joining me?" She questioned, tone light and airy. "You know. Friends getting coffee."

Constantly being mistaken for someone else had to suck. That fumbled apology, the laughing it off, the fact that the person looking at you couldn’t see those differences between you and the other person to walk around with your face on. Given that he’d kinda been in Elena’s position once should’ve had him a little more certain about which one he was approaching to beg a favour from, it should’ve at least had him feeling a little worse about it. Caffeine though. A mega thirst for it did things to a guy’s brain and if she had been offended by it Stiles knew he could pleaded caffeine withdrawal on Elena and she probably would’ve understood about the whole thing … with a little exhorted begging maybe.
She was smiling though, wide and bright and damn reassuring as his own brow knotted with his apology. Stiles shot her a relieved look, dropping his hand without having to clamp it to his chest in that whined apology. He tipped his head, his smile finally cracking slightly. ”Still gotta suck though. Especially after, you know, like the thousandth time.” Shoulders that had filled out in the last couple of years shrugged beneath the cover of his plaid shirt. He’d seen the looks in people’s eyes in the weeks after they’d trapped the nogitsune at the school. All of them waiting for that ‘surprise!’ moment where it was revealed the game wasn’t over and the thing that they’d changed, that they’d locked away had been the real Stiles and the biggest payoff was still to come. Luckily, with time that had worn off. That wasn’t gonna happen for Elena, not with Katherine and Tatia also vampires. That was an eternal kick in the teeth.
Unless….
Stiles suppressed a shiver, snorting as he bobbed his head at who he thought was Elena. ”Right,” he snorted. ”Tatia’s a sweetheart at least.” Katherine, by all accounts, wasn’t. She’d screwed Klaus out of his original ritual, guaranteeing the second with Riley, Tatia and Grace, she’d screwed up the Salvatore brothers’ lives and turned Caroline into a vampire. Bad news didn’t cover it. Stiles dipped his head, rolling his eyes slightly at himself. ”I’m light enough,” he promised, jamming his hands in his pockets. The sting to his pride would only last seconds, especially if he got a gallon of coffee to wash it away. Coffee made everything better.
Even if it took pleading to make it happen. Stiles was ready to press his hands together and fall to his knees, going so far as to pull his hand out of his pocket as Elena turned away from him for a moment. The relief on his face when she questioned him almost had him dropping to his knees anyway. He beamed a grin at her, settling his hands on her upper arms to squeeze in gratitude. ”Oh I knew there was a reason you’re my favourite,” he said, restraining himself from smacking a kiss on her cheek in adoration. ”I’d have died of withdrawal if I woulda had to go all the way back there. Need to fuel up to drive home. That last class you know ….” He dropped his hands away, miming the dragging of something out of his head before he mimed collapsing. ”You heading back to town?” Most of them trailed back and forwards, the campus close enough to what had become home for them to be able to split time in between.

SIMPLE FOOLINGS
FRIENDS GETTING COFFEE WAS A bit of an overstatement. Especially since Katherine Pierce was far from friendly with anyone that didn't matter to her anyway. And Stiles...Whatever his last name was most certainly didn't matter in the Pierce's books. Being compared to her doppelgänger and well..Her ancestor was a game Katherine enjoyed playing. It usually led onto the game of who's who, and who's pretending to be who. Most times...Katherine was pretending to be Elena and very rarely Tatia, especially with the gossip that spread over town, Tatia was an Original. Way stronger than Katherine could ever be.
"She's too sweet...I fear that Katherine and I were just...mixed and then split by nature. So Katherine's the bad side of Tatia and well...Not to brag..But I'm the nice side." Elena shrugged then, the corners of her lips working their way up into a small smile. "At least, that's a nice way to think of it I suppose." Katherine knew to not expect any compliments to come her way any time soon, especially with most of the things she had done in just the last two years alone. The Pierce ruined the ritual and evidently left the new town folks friend's up for grabs for Niklaus and well...Caused more havoc here and there. What was life without Katherine Pierce anyway?
"Not light enough." Katherine smiled, happy that her little game of teasing Stiles proved that she could fool at least one person out of a bunch. Mouth dropping in fake shock, Katherine moved her arm to cover her chest, hand slightly rising to cover her 'o' shaped mouth. "Even over sweet little Tatia?...I promise I won't tell her." With a gentle laugh at Stiles' response, the mention of how he would've died of withdrawal had Katherine relating also...But with blood. God she needed to feed tonight, and with a campus of college kids around her, she could take her pick fairly easily.
As the queue moved forward and Katherine stepped with it, the brunette almost missed Stiles' next question. "Yeah-Yeah!...Hopefully heading back tonight or tomorrow...You?"

After all that had happened with Klaus’ ritual and Scott had started dating Bonnie their separate little groups of supernatural/supernatural fighting bad asses had kinda combined. Some he’d gotten to know more than others, Stefan for example he nearly damn worshipped the ground the guy walked on after learning he’d gotten backstage with Bon Jovi. Elena and him maybe not so much, although their orbits wavered around one another thanks to their groups of friends almost merging into that one, big, messy gang. Still, Stiles thought, he’d known her enough to slip into the queue beside her despite the grumbles it’d drawn from behind them.
He knew her well enough not to see anything malicious in her saying Tatia was too sweet either. Maybe it gave him a momentary pause and he winged a brow at Elena as he rubbed his hands together for a moment before shovingthem into his pockets. ”I think Elijah would probably argue with you on that one,” Stiles admitted, a smirk breaking through before it kinda froze. ”And that’s scary enough that I’d probably just agree with anything he said. You’ve gotta see him a lot huh? At the Boarding House?” He imagined Elijah was always in and out with Tatia living there and Elena and Stefan were together so … it had to be weird. Stiles clucked his tongue against the roof of his mouth before his smirk brightened. ”So you’re leading in the nice stakes. I guess I can’t argue with that since you let me sneak in here.” His expression took on a conspiratorial edge at that, brown eyes cutting behind Elena. They fixed on a guy directly behind the two of them and for a moment his smile was absolutely beatific before he turned away again.
Stiles hunched his shoulders, dipping his head so that when he looked up at Elena to grin wryly he was looking at her through his lashes. He scuffed his feet on the gravel path, battered Converse leaving trails behind. ”I lighten up anymore I’m gonna be floating,” he promised. Making a pffft sound, Stiles tugged a hand free to swipe his fingers sloppily over his heart. ”Right now it’s Tatia who? She’s not the one getting me my coffee faster. Trust me, that means everything right now,” he joked. He had to cover a yawn as they shuffled forward though. Maybe not so much of a joke if this was gonna avoid him wrapping Roscoe around a tree on the way back to town.
He’d crank the radio as high as it’d go, although that probably wasn’t gonna be high enough, even if he could tune in to something that was less static and more skull rattling music. Company would help and he narrowed his eyes sideways at Elena as he asked, not in his self-interest of course, if she was heading home. Stiles pulled a hand out of his pocket that had a red line carved along the back of it now to rub at the back of his neck. ”After I’ve drunk about six litres of coffee and grabbed my bag from my dorm. I could, uh, give you a lift if you wanted?” The queue shuffled forward again, only one person between him and the head of the line now. His mouth was already watering, Pavlov’s dog hearing the caffeine bell ringing hard.

SIMPLE FOOLINGS
SNORTING OUT A QUIET LAUGH, Katherine wondered what would've happened in regards to any kind of conversation with Elijah on Tatia. By now, Katherine was certain he had heard of her return, but Katherine was stepping on egg shells with every move she made. She wasn't ready to flee into hiding just yet, not with the breath of freedom she had barely been able to reach lately. "You and me both really..." That was if Katherine ever did have a conversation with the Original anytime soon. "Mm...Kind of. I think since starting Whitmore I haven't really been...Around home unless its for Jer.." It was a sheer guess that left Katherine's lips, as the last she had heard on news about Elena was she was moving into the college dorms with...Dear old Caroline and that witch Bonnie. But then again, that was a year prior.
Katherine's smile rose to mimic how her doppelgänger would react and with a soft pat on Stiles' shoulders, Katherine shuffled forward once more with the queue. "So I'm winning because I let you cut in for coffee?" She asked, simply clarifying. "Maybe I should do it more often. What percentage would that put me at?" Truthfully she didn't care, but for the sake of up-keeping conversation, Katherine flowed along with it. "And what's wrong with floating?" She added as a joke. As Stiles continued, the Pierce's brows mentally furrowed together while her expression on the outside softened, a forced smile being upheld on her face. Did coffee matter that much to humans? The same way bourbon did for Damon and wine for the Pierce? "Rough night?" She assumed, who truly needed coffee that bad?
Listening to Stiles' request, Katherine turned her head away to form more of a smirk instead of Elena's soft smile. She quickly turned back though and nodded, happily accepting to spend more time with the human she barely knew. "I'd like that. I need to grab a few books here and there but...I'd like that. Thanks Stiles." The queue finally worked its way to the front and Katherine stepped in first, ordering a latte for herself. "And whatever he wants too." She added, referring to Stiles before quickly compelling the cashier, ensuring their drinks were free.
Katherine knew Elena wouldn't of dared to compel someone in a normal setting, so Katherine played it off as if she had paid for the both of them. "Hey." She began, looking at Stiles as the Pierce slowly walked to the collection point. "It's on me. Just tell them what you want."

Back home everybody had been tight enough to constantly be in and out of each other’s homes. OK, OK, he was in and out of everybody’s homes, usually by some means other than the front door, but it was close enough. Their lives were kinda rammed up against one another in way he’d missed when they’d first moved here. It’d taken time to realise it was one of the things that hadn’t changed, that everybody here was exactly the same, despite the fact that they all should’ve been locking the doors. Different sides of the country, it didn’t really matter.
Stiles smirked as he wrung a laugh out of Elena. He bunched his shoulders, chuckling back. Elijah … Elijah had to be pretty intimidating, at least on first impressions. Niklaus .. way worse. As Elena admitted she hadn’t been home so much since she’d started at Whitmore, his shoulders dropped, his frown creasing his brow. ”That’s gotta suck,” he admitted. He probably should’ve spent more time here on campus but his dad was in Mystic Falls on his own, left to his devices he’d probably eat his way into a heart attack in a week. Teeth worrying at his lip, Stiles tried not to cringe. ”I guess it must be awkward with … you know, suddenly having two new sisters in a way.” He’d heard through the others that Elena’s guardian had ended up having twins with his girlfriend before they were hit with the same sorta spell that had screwed with a lot of other people’s kids. That had been mind bending, the faces he thought he’d known for years around this town born practically yesterday.
That was the problem with Mystic Falls. Practically everything was weirder here and coming from a town where weird was what you had for breakfast, that was really saying something. Magic spells, doppelgangers, vampires. All of it so freaking weird with an oasis of normality in the middle. The sort that was gonna come with coffee now. Stiles slanted a smile at Elena as she patted her shoulder. ”I didn’t say I wasn’t easy to please. That definitely got your some brownie points. Hmmm.” He bit his lip, tugged on it as he considered. ”At least a solid ten percent.” A triple espresso would probably have him raising it, and flying high. Snorting, Stiles side eyed Elena. ”Other than the fact that it’s probably gonna take me a bucket load of Adderall to get back down? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.” Considering the pills in the pocket of his bag Stiles worked his teeth into the tip of his tongue. Dosing was always a merry go round ride, too much, too little.
Not enough today. He cracked out a yarn as he dropped his fingers away from his heart. His hand came up to cover his mouth as brown eyes rolled towards Elena. He huffed out a sound, dipping his chin slightly. ”A long week. I can crash this weekend, just gotta get there first.” That meant getting home in one piece, the caffeine that was gonna be buzzing in his veins getting him there. He bounced on his toes, trying to get some energy back into his veins as he made his offer on driving Elena back too. Dropping back down he grinned. ”Excellent. I mean, I could pick you up from your dorm building. I’ve dropped Lydia off there enough to know where it is.” As the queue moved forward, Stiles darted along with Elena. His mouth was practically watering when he clung onto the edge of the serving shelf. ”A triple shot latte, thanks.” Fingers digging into his pocket he tried to drag his wallet out but Elena was already stopping him. He glanced back and forth between her and the cashier. ”You sure? Thank you. I could hug you right now.”[/b Snorting, he held his arms open. Such a damn solid.

SIMPLE FOOLINGS
WITH A SLIGHT SHRUG, KATHERINE forced her smile to remain the same. She guessed it would've been something Elena would have done also, pretending things were fine when in reality Elena was more distant from her family now than she had been before. But then again, it was all a guess for the Pierce. She herself had never had anyone waiting for her, family wise anyway except for...Well. Pearl and her daughter Annabelle way back in the 1800s. Since then, Katherine never had anyone relying on her and she planned to keep it like that. "Yeah...It does." She breathed, looking down and up at Stiles again. "But it's okay...Jer's busy with school himself. Or so I'd like to hope." Jeremy was a teenager...What did teenagers do lately beside party and drink until their hearts content? At Stiles' next comment, Katherine turned away from him with a brow raised. 'Guardian' surely had to refer to either that vampire hunter or 'Aunt Jenna'. Wasn't Jenna dead? "Yeah!...It kind of came as a surprise to everyone really.." Katherine included.
Magic had always been the cause of most of the problems in Mystic Falls, including the same magic that affected Katherine, Elena and even Tatia long before they were born. Shadow copies of a previous life, doomed to continue on because of nature. Or whatever the history was behind it. But Katherine soon realised Mystic Falls was more than everyone realised, considering it was a small beacon for magic to be attracted to. It was what brought people like Scott and his friends. "Are you at least gonna give me tips on how to get...more brownie points?" She asked with a quiet laugh. "Just ten? Maybe I should do more good deeds." She added, laughing a little louder then.
Tutting quietly at the mention of Adderall, Katherine wondered what it meant to rely on such things. With such a short human life of her own so long ago, things like that didn't exist, in order to help out the next ordinary being. When Katherine was simply...feeling too much she'd feed. When she was feeling too little...She'd also feed. It was a constant blood cycle. And while being a vampire had various perks, in exchange for her freedom and even a small percentage of a chance at a human life...She'd give up vampirism quickly. "You could say that again." She murmured quietly. The week had passed by quickly and with enough meddling, Katherine was ready for the next week to eventually start. "Works for me!" She chimed in, quickly realising she'd need to figure out exactly where Elena's dorm building was. With her facial expression threatening to sour as Stiles' arms opened, the Pierce knew Elena would have definitely hugged him. Taking a step closer she side hugged him, ready to pin the blame on her drink being hot before quickly pulling away, feigning a slight wide smile on her lips. "Anything in return for a ride home!."

Elena might’ve taken the whole ‘crap ton of people with my face’ thing in her stride but Stiles knew if the shoe had been on the other foot he wouldn’t have handled it anywhere near as well. Just hearing about what the nogitsune had done with his face had been bad enough. The dreams had wracked him afterwards, screams trapped in his chest as he clawed his way out of them. Even now he’d dream of it some nights, knowing he was doing it, managing to get out without waking the whole dorm but still not entirely clear of it. You didn’t just get over that stuff in an instant. His brow had furrowed lightly as he commiserated with Elena, one corner of his mouth ticked up at her response. ”I’m sure it’ll get better,” he managed lightly. The corner of his mouth quirked slightly. ”At least they’re like old enough to hang with now and stuff. That’s gotta make it a little easier.” You didn’t expect to be able to when your ‘little sisters’ had only been born a couple of months before.
That was Mystic Falls for you though. Always tossing a surprise in your lap like a grenade just when it looked like things were settling a little too much. When those grenades blew all you could do was scramble around and try to pick up the pieces. The one blessing, he guessed, was that others got caught in that blast too. They were there to help you pick up the pieces. Elena and her friends had been there to do that after the ritual, it gave them that instant bond. Stiles grinned at her now, complete innocence in his expression. ”Nope,” he told her, letting the P pop on his lips. ”They wouldn’t be brownie points if I had to tell you how to get them.” It was that random part of them that made it all worth it. He hummed lightly now, shoulders rising and falling. ”Keep it up and it’ll be twenty before you know it.” Pride took the place of the guilelessness on his face then.
Stiles tipped his head back as his yawn trailed off, bouncing lightly on his toes. Maybe he’d earn himself some brownie points too. Something in return for letting him skip the line and practically pour the caffeine directly into his system. A little boost to the Adderall he’d already taken, an added dose for a system used to being cranked up to insane speeds. So close. Stiles almost bounced up to the counter, fingers curled over the edge of it. ”It’s a deal then,” he breathed, going to hold a hand out to her to shake before he thought better of it. He was still antsy as Elena paid though, his grin breaking out the minute he offered to hug her and spread his arms. He raised his brows slightly at her expression, wiggling them and his fingers in encouragement. ”The hug’s the downside of the price?” he asked with a snort. He patted her back as she side hugged him, then almost fell on the cup of coffee as it was set in front of him. ”Thank you, thank you, thank you,” he breathed, already dancing backwards on his toes. ”I’ll see you in front of the dorm in about twenty minutes then?” Stiles sipped at his coffee, already feeling that buzz kicking in. Fifteen if the coffee turned him into Speedy Gonzales like he hoped.

SIMPLE FOOLINGS
AT STILES NEXT CHOICE OF words, Katherine's brow rose. The two siblings he was referring to seemingly were only born months ago but had already grown up?...Interesting. Something the Pierce would have to look into. "Yeah..." She agreed quietly, forcing the smile on her lips. "It was only second on the list of the many..surprises I've seen. At least this year anyway..." The elder vampire knew that Elena's life seemingly changed after she discovered of her past and the fact she was a doppelganger anyway, a shadow clone of Katherine's own life. Though, Mystic Falls had more mysteries to it anyway, and now since it had become a beacon of a town for supernatural creatures to find themselves in...Katherine wasn't surprised at all. As Stiles grinned at her, Katherine's lips only grew into a wider smirk. She was enjoying...toying with the human and simply knew if he was aware of who she truly was, his attitude would change altogether. For now, the brunette concluded to simply keep up the façade. "True...But you have to give me some sort of idea...We don't have classes together right?...There's no way I could somehow increase my points in class anyway.." Katherine smiled at his answer before nodding happily. "Twenty is better than nothing."Watching how eagerly Stiles reached for the cup of coffee, internally Katherine judged him. Caffeine truly did nothing but increase people's anxiety or whatnot...Things that Katherine didn't really care for. But externally, Katherine upheld her amused smile before nodding in agreement. "Sounds good to me!" Katherine reached for her coffee then and gave Stiles a gentle wave. Walking towards the exit, Katherine looked over her shoulder at the human and smirked. She didn't need the ride truthfully, but she wasn't going to turn it down now. Stiles was the only person she seemed to fool long enough with her Elena 'persona'. [ KATHERINE END ]
