TAKE WHAT YOU WANT
AH! THE DAY HAD FINALLY arrived! Scott’s nineteenth birthday. October Sixth had been marked in all of Bonnie’s calendars, physical, digital, listed in her Google ones…Literally everywhere. Luckily for the two of them, it was a Sunday meaning they could’ve spent all day together but she couldn’t exactly do that to her boyfriend. Nor would his friends or her own friends allow it. Though, her plans went perfectly in motion. Everyone had turned up at his home in Mystic Falls on time and the surprise had went perfectly well. Even the photos couldn’t express the joy they all felt that day. A perfect normal day for a bunch of magical beings.
It was just a shame that birthdays only lasted a day. By October Seventh, the morning of Monday: Bonnie was back in Whitmore College, books in her arms, eyes dark from spending the night with Scott but it was something she didn’t regret. He enjoyed his surprise and that was all that mattered. With her first class done for the day, Bonnie slugged her way over to her locker which felt like it was on the other side of the hallway. It felt nice, similar to High School back in Mystic Falls — allowing her to drop off her things and be on with the rest of her day. But what didn’t help was the growing weight of papers in her arms and the increasing amount of textbooks she needed to collect. God she was growing to hate Psychology.
With her locker door open and her hands shoving in the unneeded documents for the day, the hairs on Bonnie’s arms soon rose. It was a gut feeling she only felt whenever someone she was unsure of…Or knew of…was around. And given the time of the day it was only one person. Just the person she had been waiting to see. Closing her locker door revealed the face she had been waiting to see. Smiling up at Scott, she reached up on her tiptoes to press a small kiss to his lips. ”Good morning.”

It had taken Scott a little time to get his head around the fact that he had actually made it to his nineteenth birthday. Things in his life had never been easy but over the last few years things had become increasingly complicated and it had all started with his best friend’s wish to head into the woods in Beacon Hills to see the body that he had heard about over the police radio. Scott’s life had changed forever that night all thanks to one bite and for a long time he hadn’t wanted it. He hadn’t wanted to be a werewolf, he had wanted to go back to being just a regular kid again more than anything but over time and with help from Derek and Stiles he had learned to embrace it. He wasn’t the weak kid who suffered from asthma and only had one friend that he once was, now he was stronger and able to protect the growing group of people he loved from the supernatural world. He and his friends had become protectors in Beacon Hills and along with Bonnie, Elena, Stefan, Ben and the others who knew about the supernatural world in Mystic Falls, they had become so again. For a long time Scott hadn’t known who he was meant to be or what his purpose was in the world but now he did. On more than a few occasions his new life had nearly been taken away from him but the latest attempt earlier that year had been thwarted by Bonnie and he still had yet to find a way to thank her enough for that. She had saved his life and now the two of them were in college together and they’d spent an amazing day with their friends the day before. Things could have turned out differently so easily but they hadn’t and for that Scott was thankful. Over the last few years he had learned to cherish his time with the people he loved and nothing was going to stop him from doing that. That day it was back to reality, however. Monday morning meant more classes but the truth was that Scott didn’t mind too much. The work wasn’t easy but then again he hadn’t expected it to be since he wanted to become a vet. He knew that he had found the job that he wanted to do thanks to Deaton and he knew that he just had to remember that it would all be worth the hard work in the end. As his first class came to an end he made his way over to the lockers and where he had hoped to find Bonnie and sure enough she was already there. “Good morning,” he said, his hand finding her waist as he kissed her back. “How was your class?”BONNIE BENNETT [ARCHIVED]

TAKE WHAT YOU WANT
A LOT HAD HAPPENED IN the span of a few months and Bonnie alongside her friends were already in college and now…Scott’s birthday! Sometimes, she wondered how time really flew. Spending the days by Scott’s side had proved to be beneficial for the Bennett, not only did she learn more about the supernatural aspect from Scott’s perspective but…well…Her boyfriend was a True Alpha after all. It was something to brag about to Elena and Caroline when the time proved to be right. Each day though, Bonnie knew she was simply falling more and more in love with the McCall and luckily, prom had proved to be the best time to tell him she loves him. Ah prom. Good times.
With Scott in front of her now, smiling wide down at her as he usually did, Bonnie couldn’t help but instinctively blush. Scott could blink and the Bennett would be head over heels with him. She was lovestruck. Completely. She grumbled at his question though, she hated her morning classes. It was enough effort to pull herself out of bed most mornings, but when she was comfy by Scott’s side in his bed until he had to leave, it made her grumpy. ”Horrible.” She mumbled, moving her hand up to rub at her eyes. ”I might have found a new way to sleep within the day. Just attend my morning classes.” She added, smiling to lighten the mood.
”But how were yours…Birthday boy? Anyone start singing the good ol’ happy birthday song yet? Has Stiles embarrassed you yet?” Nothing other than events to embarrass or make Scott happy was the perfect timing for when Stiles and Bonnie came together, working like partners in crime against the McCall. Though, Bonnie loved seeing Stiles even if she had been introduced to him as Scott’s best friend. Now he was her best friend also!

Scott had hated his first couple of years at high school, he and Stiles had spent years in the shadow of the other kids in their year and it hadn’t looked like that was going to change anytime soon but things had started to turn around quite quickly after he was bitten by Peter. To begin with Scott had been desperate to try and reverse what had been done to him but eventually he had learned to embrace it. He knew that he was a much better version of himself now, he put others before himself and he and his friends had spent a long time trying to keep Beacon Hills safe from all of the threats that had come their way. Now they were doing the same for Mystic Falls but this time they weren’t on their own. There were others around them who had the same protective instincts that they did and he knew that he wouldn’t have it any other way. Bonnie and her friends had already had things handled by the time that he and his friends got there but now they were able to share the load and he knew that things had worked out the way they were meant to. He hadn’t expected to run into Bonnie again when he moved there but not a day went by when he wasn’t glad that they had found each other again. Things had escalated between them quite quickly and they had finally admitted just how far things had gone while they were at prom. He knew that he loved Bonnie and they were still going strong even now that they were both in college and it was completely different to what they were used to. “Even if you don’t like them now I know you’re going to ace those classes,” Scott chuckled. She always seemed to and he had a feeling that that wasn’t going to change. As she asked how his were before calling him birthday boy, he couldn’t help but laugh. “They were fine I guess but I just kept thinking about seeing you,” he grinned. “He hasn’t yet but I haven’t seen him yet today. I’m sure he will when I do,” he added with a laugh. Stiles always had a habit of embarrassing him on his birthday but Scott always got his own back when it was Stiles’ turn. BONNIE BENNETT [ARCHIVED]
