Plot With Hayden

Hayden has lost more people and had her life turned upside down more than anyone her age should ever have to. The day in sixth grade that Liam Dunbar broke her nose and she had to go to the hospital after school to get it checked out turned into the day that her parents and twin brother died on their way to see her which results in Hayden and Val going to live with their grandparents, towards the end of ninth grade Hayden almost died when her kidney started failing and she only just managed to get a transplant done in time and around a year ago her grandparents died peacefully together in their sleep leaving Hayden in the care of her older sister. Hayden has been working any awful job she can get since then in order to take some of the financial strain off Val but Hayden was recently taken by the Dread Doctors only to end up in Mystic Falls with no recollection of what happened so now she and her sister have decided to stay in the town and figure it out.

Friends;; Hayden is a kind, caring and compassionate girl who often puts the needs of others before her own. She withdrew into herself a little after losing first her parents and brother and then her grandparents but she will go out of her way to help those in need even if it means putting herself in danger so she is a good friend to have. Hayden is also a very active person and excels on the soccer field so it will be easy for her to make friends.

Enemies;; Right now Hayden only has one person that she considers to be an enemy – Liam Dunbar. Deep down she knows that he isn’t responsible for the death of her parents and twin and she also knows that it was in the heat of the moment that he punched her and broke her nose when she stepped in to try and break up a fight during sixth grade. It has been easier for Hayden to hold on to her anger and the grudge that she has against Liam than it has been to accept that he wasn’t truly responsible for what she was blaming him for so she has yet to let it go. Hayden doesn’t often take a disliking to people but when she does, she can hold a grudge for years.

Lovers;; With everything that she has been through, love hasn’t been high on Hayden’s list of priorities. She had one relationship that lasted all of a few weeks while she was in middle school but since then she hasn’t really had the time or inclination to start something new. A part of the reason she hates Liam so much for breaking her nose is because she actually likes him but she isn’t ready to acknowledge that just yet.
