Plot with Athena

ATHENACORINNEPETROVA

Athena became one of the world's first immortal beings two thousand years ago when her older sister Amara left her half of her portion of the immortality elixir so that she could stay with Amara and Silas. After her sister died she was devastated and upon learning that Qetsiyah was really the one to kill her sister, Athena took the elixir and honed her skills before returning and killing the witch. Since then she has travelled the world countless times over and has found a few people that she cares about like the Mikaelsons and Lukas Petrova but otherwise she has been on her own for the most part. Over the last century she has encountered a group of supernatural creatures a few times that want to reveal what they are to the world and take power away from the humans - the first was when she met the Salvatores, Claire and Violet in London while the Jack the Ripper murders were going on and then again when Hitler tried to take over the world. Her last encounter was when a shapeshifter took the place of JFK and she was forced to assassinate him and while she hasn't come across them since she suspects that it is just a matter of time before they crop up again. Athena has made it her mission to protect those around her and learning that the new King of Hell has been spending a lot of time in Mystic Falls has drawn her to the town where she might finally be able to put down some roots.

Friends;; Making friends isn't something that comes easily to Athena. Destined to outlive everyone around her, she has made a handful of friends over the years but most of those have been gone for a long time. She isn't good at letting people get close to her but now that she is soon to be reunited with her sister after believing her to be dead for two thousand years she is finally going to be ready to put down some roots and start building a life for herself.

Enemies;; Being an immortal means that Athena has been around longer than just about anyone else on Earth. She has outlived all of her enemies and has even managed to take some of them down herself, from Qetsiyah to Hitler all the way through to the shapeshifting impostor that tried to take the place of JFK. Athena's powers were weakened a few decades ago by a rogue Bennett witch who was fighting alongside a group of supernatural creatures wanting to reveal themselves to the world and take the power away from the humans and she will keep on fighting that group for as long as she can. She is bound to have made some enemies along the way but if anyone tries to make a move to hurt her or anyone that she cares about then she won't hesitate in putting them down.

Lovers;; Athena found true love once in the form of her husband but her grief over her sister and post-natal depression following the birth of her two children caused her to let it slip through her fingers. Ever since then she has been in the odd relationship over the years but as time went on Athena found it more and more difficult to connect with men and often prefers just to have some fun instead. Her last proper relationship was decades ago with a man that she used to achieve her goal. With all of the people she has met over the years it will take someone special to catch her attention.
