 til now. Bobby's life was one marred with violence long before the Winchesters came into it or he knew of the supernatural. Growing up in an abusive home in Sioux Falls, he killed his own father to protect his mother before he even hit his teens. As he got older and married, he avoided having his own kids to try and break the cycle of being a shitty father. Bobby argued about it with his wife days before she was possessed by a demon and killed during the exorcism. Karen's death was Bobby's first step into the world of hunting. For decades afterwards he did what he had to, trying to protect people from what was out there and in the process finding himself with two surrogate sons. After the death of their dad, Bobby became a pivotal part of their fight against Hell and other supernaturals, taking on that role of surrogate father again until he himself was killed by Dick Roman, head of the Leviathan. For a time afterwards Bobby existed as a ghost, and then spent time trapped in Hell before he was finally given his ride up to Heaven. Bobby remained there for a handful of years but when Heaven finally fell Bobby escaped back to life. Travelling to Mystic Falls to find Sam and Dean Bobby discovered a town full of supernatural problems and Sam on brink of being used by Hell again. Before they could stop it Sam helped to break open the cell in Hell and now with his 'family' Bobby is trying to find a way to free Sam of Lucifer.

Hunters rarely last long anyway but ones who are around Bobby and the Winchesters seem to suffer more than most. Both before and after coming back from the dead Bobby took a number of hunters and those who got too close to the fight against the supernatural under his wing, including Jodi and Garth. Break through that crusty curmudgeon exterior and you'll find someone loyal, stubborn and fierce that'll do anything to protect those he cares about.
enemies. Anyone whom tries to cross him or the Winchesters. Stay in the life as long as Bobby did and some enough you'll have every son of a something coming after you.
family. Karen Singer (wife, deceased). Bobby had no kids with Karen, something he's gone on to regret but thanks to his watching of the boys when they were young Dean and Sam Winchester are surrogate sons for him. Since he's returned from heaven Bobby's learned that the family has extended to include Ben too, Dean's son.
lovers. Too damn unlikely. Be careful who you get involved with unless you wanna end up dead or watching what a woodchipper can do.

The last time these two met was when Sam was helping Bobby get from Hell to Heaven if I'm not mistaken. It would just be poetic if the first time they met again was Sam sending a demon to Hell or drinking from a demon, which Bobby tried to help him with before BOBBY SINGER |

Oooh, poetic indeed. Bobby would be pissed at Sam for slipping. I can imagine there being that big sort of father-son disappointment thing going on that Bobby always manages. All he wanted was for the boys to watch out for one another and then he gets back to find them at each other's throats again.

Poetic indeed. You can't blame the guy, Bobby tried helping Sam stop the devil last time... Any chance of that again? Or will he be the voice of reason. Sam would be so upset that he disappointed Bobby. John he wouldn't care less but Bobby was the father figure apart from Dean he looked up to. BOBBY SINGER |

OMG, sorry for taking so long to respond to this. I didn't realise I hadn't replied. I can Bobby totally doing a bit of both. He'd want to stop Lucifer at almost any cost but at the same time he'd try to talk the boys down from flying off the handle with it all.

It certainly does fly! I think the last time Jo saw Bobby he was still on wheels. Since then he's died, been a ghost, been to Hell, Heaven and come back again. This two have a lot in common.
He might be a tiny bit wary at first but he knows what it's like to be a spirit and he'd want to help her back from that more than anything.
Maybe in poking around the town Bobby finds out that there's mysterious blonde who's been helping people out and goes out to find himself a ghost.

Bobby's certainly glad to help out. He's had his hands full with what's happened with Sam and Lucifer for a while but playing the guy in the chair for a little bit might appeal to him. Not so sure he'll be so happy when he realises he's dealing with Raphael instead of just a witch kid.
