Caroline had been meaning to head to the Mystic Grill for the past couple of nights, but she always got busy with something else entirely. But tonight, she decided that she'd go out with a couple of her friends to have some fun away from studying and all the books back home. Caroline snapped out of her thoughts when she felt her phone buzz in her pocket. With a small sigh, she reached and retrieved it. It was a text from her friends.
'We're there!' It read.
She smiled a little before sending a reply back letting them know that she was on her way. She pocketed her phone shortly after and took a small step back before she turned on her heels to make her way out of her bedroom, the sound of her high heels clicking following after her as she made her way to the front door while fixing the strap of her purse. She double-checked to make sure she had everything with her and soon, she was heading out and locking the door after her. She'd dropped a notice to her mom earlier about going out way before she'd left for work, so she was all in the clear.
Caroline brushed her hair away from her shoulder while walking, with every step, she was getting closer and closer to the Mystic Grill. Soon enough, she could see its logo and with it in sight, she started making her way to the door. The little bells at the top chimed on her way in, but the sound was easily covered by the chatter in the Mystic Grill.
It was busy as usual, there were a few people from her school here, but none of them were worth going up to, so she made her way to where her friends were sitting. She sat with them and enjoyed a chatter until the urge to get up and get a drink was too much for her to ignore, so she got up and made her way to the bar to order a drink, only to halt when she noticed a familiar face. It was a little too easy for others to mistake her as Elena, but Caroline noticed the differences almost immediately.
Her smile turned warm as she slowly approached Tatia. "Tatia, hey." She greeted, her voice soft. "Haven't seen you in a while." She sat down next to her once the man sitting there got up. "Everything going well for you?"
