friends. Gabriel has both friends and acquaintances. As a West of Savannah he's always found himself at the centre of a busy social scene, but it's rarely one he's truly wanted to be a part of. Now that he's moved to Mystic Falls there are few around that he's familiar with, barring his own family when they descend to see how he's doing. The angel Remiel, who inhabits his body without Gabriel's current conscious knowledge is far friendly, and a little too trusting.
enemies. Gabriel himself doesn't possess any of these but Remiel does. As an angel he's a target for demons, some hunters, and anybody who takes offence to the idea of a divine being bringing back those that heaven has deemed worthy of resurrection.
family. A family with a lot of tradition and expectations can be hard to juggle but Gabriel has always managed. He cares for both of his parents but it is his brother and sister he's closest to. As a part of heaven's ranks Remiel's family is wide ranging and pretty damn dysfunctional.
lovers. The angel inhabiting Gabriel might not be well versed in this subject but he's been in his host long enough to see that Gabriel has been a bit of a womaniser over the years. He's never taken advantage of a woman, always making his expectations and feelings clear to start with. Gabriel enjoys the game of flirtation, of charming women, wining and dining them where he can.

Woot. Time for Remiel to spend some time with a brother.
Remiel definitely isn't prepared to hate him. While he doesn't agree with all that Castiel has done Remiel has spent enough time escorting humans to know that to err that way is to be human. I love the idea of them defeating a demon together. Remiel's been spending some time hunting demons in Mystic Falls and hasn't always been so great about clearing up after himself afterwards. He tends to wipe his host's memory after taking control each time, trying to keep him safe but that means that Gabriel's woken up with his scalp split on one occasion and a lot of huge holes in his memory.

Angel siblings unite!
It'd be good to have an angel face Remiel recognises around town. Left to his own devices he's been slipping a little in what he's supposed to do. He's not been taken as good care as he should of his host and he's had to reveal himself to a few humans in town. Perhaps word gets around and Fiona comes looking for him? He could be up to no good again, getting himself into a scrape trying to do the right thing or he could actually be doing his job and comes to Fiona to deliver a message.

Awesome. Remiel could certainly do with some guidance. He always thinks he's done the right thing but inevitably there are mistakes and now that some humans in the town have realised there's something going on with his host he's trying to avoid making any more.
In myth Remiel was supposed to be the messenger of the angels, delivering messages back and forth between the archangels. I've kinda adapted that into his app. He still delivers messages, just the sort that shouldn't be going out on angel radio.

LOL Either would work. Have to say that I do like the first idea. Remiel could do with a good talking to before he does something truly idiotic with Gabriel. Eventually I'm going to have Gabriel realise what's going on so Remiel won't have to cause quite as much memory loss but for the moment I do like the idea of Remiel getting told to behave himself. |

To be honest, Remiel, the angel inside of Gabriel, has done the same. He was an angel of resurrection, ferrying the souls of those to be resurrected back to their bodies, and a messenger of sorts for his brothers, but when it came to being on earth, he honestly preferred spending time around humanity. Since he arrived in Mystic Falls, having been with Gabriel since he saved his life in New York, he's been trying to reach out to his brothers and sisters but few have remained in town. He'd certainly appreciate having another of them around. You said that Andrew was always a guardian of sorts when it came to children right? Perhaps something could happen to one out in the woods and in hearing the trouble both the angels show up there at the same time?

Yes he was a guardian angel for children and protected them. Andrew been trying to find his older brother Gadreel, to give a important message which he couldn't give him while being at heaven. He believed he was dead, until he heard whispers while being on earth that he survived the fall. The woods idea for them to meet is good for me, as he would check the area, especially if a child is risk of being hurt. He would be happy to see his brother again, since he been looking for his siblings for long time.

Oooh, someone else fishing into Mystic Falls' mysterious goings on. Gabriel certainly has been trying to do that since he got to town. He's had access to the files that were left by the prior owner and has added to themselves. It's only since Rem revealed his current lurking to Gabriel that he's really had half a clue about what's out there. He won't be all that keen on sharing that knowledge given that it tends to come with danger but if he hears a little of the danger Anastasia's in he'd probably want to help.

Ah! Gabe's start reporter! He'd probably take that and her attitude all in good humour. For a rich person he's got a heck of a sense of humour. Perhaps to see how far she's come with the judgy eyes Gabe could call her over to his place for a planning session for a big spread in the newspaper about the town's current missing people. It would let her see him in far less imposing surroundings and it could show just how far the two of them have come. Or we could put the two of them on the road to go look at what might be a story somewhere in town?

Remiel spent most of his time in heaven or ferrying souls and messages, which meant he didn't get to spend much time on earth. His first real big trip out was the first time Lucifer got out of the cage. As soon as that was over he was back to Heaven again. He could have visited Shaun's 'dad' once or twice though, delivering a message that couldn't be put out on angel radio. It might ring a bell if he was to see Shaun again but he likely wouldn't have known him too well. I'm not sure he'd bring the angel thing right out in the open but I'd certainly be up for a meeting between the two of them.
