Evan O'Quinn
Evan hadn't been in town very long so he had been staying with his sister for somewhere to stay. Evan thought it about time to explore more of the town. He made his way towards the Mystic Grill. Neither his sister or he could cook properly and he wanted something to eat.
Little did he know that he would come across a familiar face. Mackenzie was good to be around as it was a familiar face in a new town but he didn't expect to see Winter. He had seem her a few times when they were both on the road. When the fair and the circus were in the same town he would make sure to see her. He first met her through their lines of work.
Evan made his way to the bar and ordered a burger and chips. He then sat down and finished it before getting up from his booth to order a beer. On his way there he saw what he thought was Winter. What were the chances of her being here? He went over to what he thought was Winter.
He tapped the lady on the shoulder. "Winter? Is that you?"

Winter was hoping Lex would be happy to stay in town a little longer, maybe even for the foreseeable future because she really liked the place. Everyone was friendly and smiled whenever she walked past them. It was a breath of fresh air to be in a place that wasn’t anything like Seattle. If she smiled at a stranger back in her old neighbourhood there was a chance they’d yell at her. It was a place where no one made eye contact and front doors were bolted shut all the time, although there had been many times she’d come home from school to find the front door open and her dad passed out on the sofa. It didn’t matter though as they had nothing worth stealing. No television, no computer, no game consoles. The house was pretty much empty apart from the bare necessities and the things that were worth taking were probably stolen in the first place. She’d broken away from that vicious cycle though. It would have been easy for her to join a local gang, hot wire cars and selling narcotics, but she didn’t. She joined the fair, met Lex and now she had a cool job at the museum. Lori would have been so proud of her. The sweet little girl to who she taught the alphabet to had grown up and actually made a life for herself. Now she had a regular job she actually had money in her bank account. There was no need to cook beans in the back of her van using her portable stove. The first time she pulled the stove out Lex looked at her in disgust. A large pizza was placed down in front of her, “Thank you.” She beamed at the waitress before grabbing the closest piece to her. Winter was pulling the slice away from her mouth, the cheese elongating as she did so when someone tapped on her shoulder. She snapped the cheese before turning around. Her eyes widened with joy as she quickly swallowed the mouthful of food. “Evan!” Winter dropped the piece of pizza and leaped out of her seat, wrapping her arms around him, and giving him a tight hug. “Oh my God it’s been like… forever.” She said as she broke away from him, “Do you wanna join?” She nodded towards the empty seat across from her before returning to her own seat, “What have you been up to? Are you here for the carnival?” Winter had spotted the stalls and rides being installed in town for some Founders day carnival. EVAN O'QUINN

Evan didn't hesitate to return the hug. It had been a while since they had last been together. Every time they met up was never planned. Whenever his circus was in a town or a fair, he made a conscious effort to see her. The last thing I Even expected was to see Winter in Mystic Falls, of all places. "Sure." With the offer to join, he sat down beside her and ordered a drink from the bar. "What are you drinking?"
When she asked if he was here for the carnival, the human shook his head. "Funny thing, no, I was about to ask you the same thing. I could have made some extra cash, but I've taken a break from that now." He laughed. "I came to see my sisters. They've been living here for a while, and I thought I better see what the fuss was about."
Why was it that it always seemed to follow him when he tried to take a break from his lifestyle? In this case, it was a good thing. "I haven't seen you in a while. Have you settled here?"

Despite the regular income from the museum Winter was still frugal as hell, something Lex couldn’t wrap his mind around. He was born into money and never went without it, whereas she was left pulling change out from the back of the couch so she could get something to eat at school. Polar opposites attract though, right? That was the only reasonable explanation for their friendship, which apparently wasn’t a friendship according to Lex, but most of the time she ignored him and his rants. Their drive to Mystic Falls consisted of Winter’s voice mainly, with Lex chiming in every now and then. If the conversation ran dry she would crank up the radio. Anything to avoid silence. Her eyes fell on her drink for a moment before looking back at Evan, “Diet coke.” She replied with a small smile as she picked back up her slice of pizza, taking another bite of it. She shook her head, mirroring Evan’s response to her as she swallowed the chunk of pizza, “No, but I was thinking of applying to do a stall or something there… extra cash and all that.” Few extra dollars in her pocket to keep her afloat. Winter hadn’t particularly settled down anywhere since her dad died, constantly on the road and even when she was back in Seattle it would be brief. “Not really. I’m here with a friend who's here to see a friend or something.” Will. This time she wasn’t scrambling around her brain trying to recount the man’s name, although she still didn’t fully understand why Lex was in town to see Will, but she knew better than to ask too many questions of Lex. The boy had a wicked bite at times. EVAN O'QUINN
