━ make you beg for it, plead for it, until you feel like you breathe for it ━ Obviously, Hannya had been outside before. She’d seen the streets that laid beyond Emerald City, witnessing life in Mystic Falls before disappearing into the depths of the town, and she had absolutely no interest. This place was boring, and so were the people in it. That was, at least, until she’d seen Joel wander through it and right back into her claws. Dolly squirmed at the thought of anything happening to him, but Hannya wasn’t planning to hurt the little bumpkin━not physically, anyway. She’d tear his life apart, but that pretty face would stay intact.
Searching would’ve been easier in her smoke form, but Hannya couldn’t risk Dolly gaining control and causing a fuss. She hadn’t been in control of her own body since Hannya first took it over, and it wouldn’t start now.
So, she walked those same streets she despised, wearing only a little more clothing than she normally did at ‘work’. A skirt to cover the lower half of her body, while the thin, white tube top took care of the upper half. Hardly street legal, but Hannya relished in the stares and angry looks sent her way.
The point of this was finding Joel. Seeing what that stupid wife looked like, and corrupting him just a little further. Hannya wouldn’t get distracted.
That was, of course, until a sharp whistle pulled her eyes away from the dimly lit path, and instead finding a car slowly moving alongside her. A man leaned forward, head peeking out of the driver’s side window, pulling to a stop as Hannya’s steps slowed. She furrowed her brow at him, frowning deeply, completely unsure as to why she was suddenly suffering this annoyance.
“Hey, baby,” The man spoke slyly, his voice giving the impression of spiders scurrying up her body. “Can I give you a ride somewhere? Or… do you wanna just hang out with me tonight?”
Hannya knew what he was thinking. She was old, but she hadn’t been locked away for most of her life━she understood what was happening here. Plump lips curled up in a smirk, and a quiet clunk of her heel against the asphalt came with each slow step towards him. Hannya crowded his space, bending to fold her arms over the open window. “What, you think I’d wanna go home with you?”
“Sorry, I should’ve asked. How much for an hour?”
Her smirk turned sinister then, and it took the idiot a long moment to notice. Too long━too late━for his sake. Just as his eyes went wide, Hannya reached out and clasped his jaw in her hand, her own teeth flashing at him. “You think I’m a...?” She hissed, knowing the answer already. Hannya released an amused, sickening cackle, tightening her hold slowly, feeling his bones begin to bend beneath her fingers.
A loud snap, and then his delicious screams flooded the air. Like music to her ears, only growing louder with each ounce of pressure used.

The life Lawrence had been trying to escape had pushed its way back through again. Here he was, working in a bar, drinking until the early hours of the morning, and his sleep schedule was completely back to front. It was New Orleans all over again, except this time he wasn’t feeding on the locals and tourists. At times, he wondered whether this was it? Was this his life forever? It was a depressing thought that he forced out of his mind, but he could feel himself on a slippery slope. One that led to losing control, and embracing the darkness within him. It felt like he was just treading water, desperate to keep himself afloat. At least tonight he had finished work earlier than normal, giving him the chance to get a good night’s sleep, but also a night away from fresh human blood. Chilled blood bags waiting for him in the fridge when he got home after getting rid of all the animal blood in his fridge. Lawrence knew the only person who was stopping him from going over that edge was Teddy, afraid of disappointing his best friend. He was part of the reason the vampire kept paddling, rather than sinking into darkness. It had been a long time since he had someone there for him, someone believing in him. However, Lawrence had yet to tell Teddy he had dropped out of school and was back to drinking human blood bags. It was something he was keen to keep a secret for as long as possible; worried Teddy wouldn’t understand and play the concerned parent. Sometimes it was difficult to explain his need for human blood to someone who wasn’t a vampire. He too didn’t understand it as a warlock. The vampire was ripped away from his own thoughts as a male scream echoed through the air from nearby, which anyone’s hearing could have picked up. A cry which indicated pain, and it was growing louder. He stopped walking, listening for which direction the plea for help was coming from. It was close by, close enough that he could ignore it. With a deep sigh, Lawrence turned back and headed towards the noise. “You think I’m a...?”That familiar female’s voice rang through his ears. The demon dancer who’d managed to sink her claws into him, pushing him to the edge by teasing him with her blood. He'd since found out her name was Hannya, which she failed to share with him. He wasn’t sure if it was some power play on her part or whether she was nameless. Either way, Hannya had managed to unpick his morals, playing a part in his decision to revert back to human blood. A few seconds later Hannya came into view, leaning into a vehicle with her hand clamped around a male’s jaw. The sound of cracking bones was uncomfortable to listen to. No wonder he was crying out in pain. Lawrence approached the pair, a slow walk with no hurry. “I was starting to believe you had an invisible chain wrapped around your neck which kept you tied to the Blood Den” Blue eyes stayed focused on the demon, dismissing the man with the now broken jaw, “If you’re going to kill someone, don’t make a scene” Though he was sure the demon didn’t care about making a scene. ━ make you beg for it, plead for it, until you feel like you breathe for it ━ Demons spread terror, sin, and all sorts of negativity. That was the point. Hannya was the physical representation of sin, born straight from one, and incredibly proud of that fact━thank you very much. While walking the streets was quite low on the list, and probably right up a demon’s alley, she knew it wasn’t a complimentary statement━and Hannya wasn’t in the mood for it, either. She was trying to find Joel, and this idiot was getting in her way.
She could hear another bundle of energy approaching from the side, but Hannya didn’t falter, locking her pitch-black eyes onto the soft brown of this man’s. They were clouded with tears, and all the fear that wasn’t necessarily her forte, but a feeling she lapped up all the same.
‘I was starting to believe you had an invisible chain wrapped around your neck which kept you tied to Emerald City.’
Her gaze snapped to the side, narrowing at the vampire approaching. Lawrence. She remembered him; brooding vampire, fun to play with and torment. Morals seemed pretty breakable, too━hopefully.
Don’t make a scene? She’d do what she wanted. Hannya gritted her teeth, bringing those demonic eyes back to the man, hissing, “Better luck the next time around, huh?” Before she slammed his skull down onto the dashboard. Thankfully, she’d leaned back just in time to avoid dirtying her outfit too much. One or two spots on her shirt would be explainable once Joel saw her.
Her eyes faded back to Dolly’s sweet hazel, stepping away from the car and turning. She strutted right up to Lawrence, cupping his cheek with her bloody hand and beaming up at him. “I don’t have the need t’sleep or eat so, yeah, it’s easier to stay there. But I’m lookin’ for someone.” Hannya hummed softly, sliding her thumb across his lower lip and coating it. He obviously hadn’t been taunted enough last time, but she’d surely break him tonight. “Didja follow me here? Lookin’ for some fun?” She asked slyly, her own ruby red painted lips sliding into a smirk, though the colour of her lipstick wouldn’t ever quite match the gorgeous colour on his.

Lawrence knew he should have just turned back and headed home as soon as he heard the demon's voice, leaving her to do whatever he wanted with that poor human. But he ignored his morals and followed the voice anyway. Hannya's head snapped towards him as he approached her, those black demonic eyes out to play. They made him feel even more uncomfortable than the human's shrills. There was nothing behind them, it was unnerving and a harsh reminder that she wasn't just a pretty dancer at the Blood Den. She had been created by the hands of the devil. The vampire watched as the demon slammed the mortal's head in the steering wheel with such force it split open. He sighed as he drew his right hand up to pinch the bridge of his nose closing his eyes for a moment. "I guess you're not going to bother covering this up either" He responded, his eyes flickering open. The dancer was approaching him. Human blood dripped from her hand, the smell becoming overwhelming with each step she took towards him. Lawrence wanted to step back, run back home even, but he also wanted to stay. At least her eyes had returned to their normal colour, but it didn't make her any less intimidating. Deep down, Lawrence liked it. Hannya reached up, smearing the human's blood across his lower lip, his jaw clenched tightly as she did so. The blood was right there, resting on his lips, ready to be tasted. He promised himself no feeding on humans, but would this technically count? It was like a blood bag, but fresher. Much fresher. He knew the demon wanted him to cave and he wasn't sure why he was putting up a fight at this point. What was the point? So he could stand on his moral high ground telling people he didn't feed on humans. He was one of the good vampires. Before Hannya tried to tease him with blood, but the skin that lay between her veins and his teeth was a barrier. It helped, but now it was coated across his lower lip. It was apparent the blood was stirring something inside of him as the veins threaded his face, his blue eyes growing darker. He stared at the demon as he drew his bottom lip between his teeth, raking the blood off before running his tongue across his lip to remove the rest. There was still a bit of warmth to it and it was more satisfying than the cold blood bags he had been drinking from. "Why? Are you offering some fun" He asked, as his eyes faded to their natural colour. HANNYA

━ make you beg for it, plead for it, until you feel like you breathe for it ━ Fuck, did she ever love this. Humans were too easily manipulated; she could pick her teeth with them, but vampires? Especially the ones who convinced themselves they had some sort of moral code, that they could be better despite their curse? Ugh, it was absolutely mouthwatering to tempt them, to break them and leave them begging for more. While their entire creation kept them wrought with sin, Hannya wanted to do everything possible to keep them there, to have them indulge to their heart’s content.
And she could provide that for Lawrence, what with her ability to heal at will. She could and would do anything he wanted━craved.
Hannya ignored his question as she strut over, heels making clacks against the asphalt, though no louder than the human’s screams only moments prior. It was rhetorical in her mind, anyway; why would she waste her time cleaning that up? His kind made enough donations to the piles of bodies in Mystic Falls, and this was one out of all of them.
Indirectly, though, Hannya was probably causing a hundred more deaths by luring Lawrence back feeding on humans. But it wasn’t as if she had a conscience for it to rest on. If he started a killing spree, Hannya would be ecstatic.
She painted a red handprint on his cheek like a child’s drawing, etching the lines of her palm into his skin. That wasn’t what mattered, though━it was the amount on his lower lip, and what he’d do next. Hannya waited with the patience of a saint, hazel eyes flicking to his lips, her own parted, desperate with anticipation.
And, finally, he did it. He gave in. Hannya let out a soft, pleased noise, like a hum in her throat, praising the choice he’d made. She grinned wickedly, finding his eyes and watching them fade to his regular blue━boring. “Good boy,” She purred, sinking closer, her free arm curling around his shoulders. “I’m always fun, honey,” The demon batted her lashes innocently, gaze falling back to his lips. “It’ll be like last time… but better,” Her laugh was cut off as she pressed her soaked fingers to her lips, smearing crimson over crimson, mixing with the bright lipstick. “Lemme see those pretty eyes again, baby,”
In an instant, Hannya’s dry fingers carded through the hair at the back of his head, grabbing on and pulling him into her, all lips and teeth and heat. She took her own bite of his lower lip, though it was blunt and unable to break the skin━well, not with such little force, anyway━an invitation for Lawrence to bite her, to keep giving in.

The fact Hannya was willing to leave a dead body in the street unsettled him mainly as it always falls back on the vampires. Hit with the blame for every dead human in Mystic Falls as if they were the only creatures capable of killing. Wolves tear limbs from bodies every full moon, yet vampires were deemed the enemy in the world of the supernatural. Of course, she wasn’t going to tidy up her mess though. It was Hannya. Came and went as she pleased, expecting everything to fall in place around her which happened in Emerald City, but out here things were different. Pushing the deceased male to the back of his mind the vampire focused on Hannya. The blood smeared across his lips. The demon pushing his buttons. As though he was glued to the spot Lawrence didn’t move as the demon enticed him with the fresh blood covering her hands, pleased to see him raking it from his lips. Praising him for giving in and he couldn’t decide whether he hated it or loved it. He hated how he was controlled by blood, but this was not the blood of his victim. He hadn’t killed the man, she had. Lawrence was trying to rationalize his decision in his head, but his thoughts were cloudy, his mind preoccupied. But better— Her words rattled around his head. A promise which made his skin tingle and the hairs on his body stand up. Lawrence watched on as she brushed the blood across her lips, inviting him to taste it. Suddenly her fingers worked her way through his hair, pulling him close to her. Her lips pressed against his, the taste of blood on his tongue once more as she nibbled on his lower lip, though her bite softer than expected. Within seconds he gave in, placing his hands on the arch of her lower back pushing his body into hers. He pulled back for a moment, catching his breath as the veins threaded down his face showing her his pretty eyes. His right hand travelled up her back, before resting on the back of her neck. The sounded of his pulse beating beneath her skin was deafening to Lawrence. He removed his left hand from her back, bringing it up to brush her hair back off her shoulder. He couldn’t resist it anymore. Blood. That was all he could think about. It was what she wanted from the moment she met him. In an instance, Lawrence’s teeth were locked on Hannya’s neck, his grip firmly on her nape as he pulled her closer. Lawrence pulled back after a few seconds. Despite being a demon she was inhabiting a human body, presumably one that couldn’t withstand too much damage. One that couldn’t lose too much blood. He took a deep breath in an attempt to regain control of himself as he wiped Hannya’s blood from his lips. “I live nearby” Only a few streets stood between them and her promise. There was no need to wait for Hannya’s response to his invitation. Instead, Lawrence picked the demon up, hands cupping her ass as he halted her up with ease, pushing her legs around him. In a blur, the pair were outside of his apartment building and he dropped Hannya to her feet. He reached into his pocket, pulling out his fob before swiping it. Again, he grabbed Hannya and pulled her into the apartment building. Seconds later they were in front of Lawrence’s front door, he was pushing the door open tugged the demon inside. HANNYA

━ make you beg for it, plead for it, until you feel like you breathe for it ━ Hannya didn’t often placate others. She loved being in control, but it was easy to bend to a man’s will and make him think he was the one holding the reigns. Lawrence was no different━she allowed him to take a bite and touch her where he wanted, his hands moving Hannya into a position more comfortable for him. None of it would have happened without her saying so, and that was what she wanted most of all. Power.
Becoming malleable for him, Hannya tipped her head sideways, palms finding their place on his sides, pressed to Lawrence’s frame. When he broke the skin, though, Hannya’s fingers snatched up the fabric covering his torso, a gasp and a moan coming in response. She pushed against him, eyes closing while she focused on nothing but the feeling of blood seeping out of her and into him. She swallowed hard, staying as still as possible for him, revelling in the fact that she really, truly got him to break. This wasn’t a little lick of blood off his lips; it was a full-on feast, what with the time he spent buried in her neck.
Not long enough for her, though. Hannya rolled her eyes as he pulled back, meeting his gaze with a small frown. She wanted more━didn’t he? How could he not?
Ah, morals. Fickle and silly. Hannya grinned then, wooziness setting in for nothing more than a brief second before she healed herself. She watched Lawrence while the mark faded into nothingness, amused that, even after all this, he was still trying to be one of the ‘good’ ones. Hannya wanted him to lose complete control, try to tear her apart━but only because she knew he wouldn’t be successful.
‘I live nearby.’
Hannya practically cackled, arms snaked around his shoulders once he had her up, not bothering to say much; he knew what she wanted, and she’d already put forth the invitation. In a matter of seconds, they were at his apartment door, with Lawrence stopping to put her down before they got there, though Hannya still clung to his shoulders until they stepped through the door.
She pushed away from his chest, hazel eyes on the interior of it, smirking as she walked in like she owned the place. “So… this is how vampires live, huh?” Snickering, peeked into his bedroom before striding through the kitchen, fingertips glossing along each surface she passed, never spending much time on anything. Hannya rid herself of her outer layer before she approached the couch, leaving it somewhere on the floor.
Turning around when she came to it, Hannya shifted back to sit on the armrest, grinning at Lawrence. “Remember what I said last time?” She cooed, reaching out to gather him into her, legs curled around his waist to keep him close. “You can have anything, and as much of it as you want.” The demon tilted her head to the side, exposing her neck once more in offering, a smirk on her lips. “Don’t worry about me.” She added in a whisper, hoping he’d listen to her this time.

Lawrence wasn’t overly eager to leave the dead body on the street for someone to find, but also his attention had been ripped away from that by the demon. It was someone else’s problem now. The laugh that rolled out of her mouth penetrated his ears. As though there was something sinister lurking behind it. He’d seen those empty eyes staring back at him only a few moments ago, something that still made his hair stand on end. As they entered his apartment he dropped her down, without caution. He let the door swing close behind him as she strutted through the small hallway, peering into his bedroom for a moment because heading into the kitchen. He followed in her footsteps, tossing his keys down on the kitchen side, “We like to live a minimalist life” At least he did. A man who owned very little, having left Canada with just a small rucksack on his bag. His parents told him he was only allowed to take a few pieces with him, to avoid suspicion. He wondered did they keep his belongings after he left, as something to remember him by or was it all tossed into a fire a few months later. Erasing any memory they had of him. His blue eyes were back on her body, exploring every inch with his gaze. He remembers a lot of the things she said last time, prompting a small smile to appear on his face. As she reached out towards him, he moved closer to her. Her legs snaked around his waist, holding him tightly in place. “You can have anything, and as much of it as you want.” There it was again. The invitation to drink from her, telling him he could take as much as he wanted. There was no point fighting it anymore, he’d already caved. Already lost the battle. Everything Lawrence had been working hard towards the past few years was being plucked apart slowly, but surely. At that moment he didn’t care. The promises he made to himself and Teddy were about to be broken, he knew that, but couldn’t stick to them. He’d already had a taste of her blood. It was so rich and his taste buds ached for more. Lawrence hated that she’d manage to pick him up like a piece of putty, moulding him into whatever she pleased. As she tilted her head the familiar veins crept down his face. His stomach was crying out for food. For blood. Hannya’s blood. With one swift movement, his teeth locked around her neck. His teeth penetrated her delicate porcelain skin. Once the blood started to flow he didn’t want to pull back as he grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her closer. As close as she could get. There was no denying Hannya’s heart was slowing down rapidly, but even that wasn’t enough to deter Lawrence. He wanted more, but as her body started to grow heavy against his frame he quickly pulled back. “They can also jump bodies when too much harm has come to their host” Teddy’s words rang through his head, louder than Hannya’s slowing heartbeat. ━ make you beg for it, plead for it, until you feel like you breathe for it ━ Once the words left her lips, she knew there was no stopping it. And that was good, she wanted nothing between the pair, especially not any morals. Those, along with humans, were some of God’s worst inventions. They didn’t leave any room for entertainment, though that was her job as a demon━spread that fun around and infect the masses with it.
Lawrence was just another victim, but could one truly call him that? He was having a good time, and that’s all that mattered━repercussions certainly did not.
Manicured fingernails dug deep into his sides, holding onto the fabric there while he leaned in, taking from her once more. Hannya squeezed his hips between her thighs, legs locked at the ankles, leaving him no room to escape━though she was sure he wouldn’t want to.
After a few long moments, however, her grip slackened, slender legs beginning to drop around him. Hannya herself was fine, stuck in the mortal’s body, but Dolly was crying out for help. She begged the demon to heal them again, for something to change, but Hannya let it go a little longer. Toying with the edge, seeing how long they could last or how far Lawrence would go. It was only until she felt a tugging sensation, like her smoke form ready to dash out from the wounded body, did she think it was time to act. That, and Dolly grabbed the metaphorical steering wheel in their shared mind. It was only one hand and a weak grip, but it was there, enough to release a whimper of pain from her own lips.
Lawrence intervened finally, tearing away from her neck in a loss that felt… well, just like that. A loss, even if it was killing her host.
She healed then, hazel eyes brightening suddenly, a gust of breath filling borrowed lungs. Mentally, the demon elbowed Dolly off the wheel, retaking complete control, her seat no longer threatened. Her smile came at the same wattage as her eyes, batting her lashes at Lawrence. “Now, wasn’t that exciting? Did you think you nearly lost me there?” Hannya cackled as if life was only a game, squeezing him with her legs once more before letting him go, her hands making quick work of removing his shirt.
She tossed it to the ground, twisting on her perch to crawl onto the cushions and flopping back once she was in the middle. “Come on, pretty boy. My turn,” Hannya snickered, reaching out to grab for him again, pulling that cool, pale body into all the curves of her warm skin, wrapping him up like a fly caught in her web, refusing to release him until she’d taken every last bit.

As the demon’s body grew heavy against the only thought racing through his mind was how the hell was he going to get rid of her body? He’d never killed someone in his apartment before, determined to keep the place his home. Not a place to have bodies littering the floor, whilst he was finding a way to get rid of them. This wasn’t New Orleans. He couldn’t just call one of his buddies down to help move her, this was a small town where missing people get noticed. Even Hannya going missing would be noticed soon enough. But suddenly her eyes shot open, full of life once again. That cackle filled the silence between them causing him to narrow his eyes slightly at her. Of course, this was just a game to her. Tapping at Lawrence’s buttons to see how far shade could push him. Nonetheless, it was exciting. Human blood coated around his mouth as her legs pulled him closer. He put that moral voice inside his head to bed. Pushing it so far down that it was nothing but a whisper to him. He wasn’t harming anyone by feeding on Hannya. Her body could obviously handle it to the very last second and now he knew how far he could push her. Push that mortal body she inhabited to the brink of death. Pulling away just before the heartbeat became too slow. The wound of her neck healed rapidly, leaving behind nothing but a red stain. He edged his torso back a fraction as Hannya removed his top, discarding it on the floor with her belongings. His gaze flicked between her hazel eyes and the fresh blood on her neck. “Your turn eh?” He climbed over the arm of the chair, lowering himself onto her. As his bare skin touched hers he moved to the side of her neck, running his tongue over the leftover blood. The veins twitching beneath his eyes as he did so, wanting to pierce her neck once more. He slipped his hand behind her neck, pulling her mouth closer to his, bringing her in for a hungry kiss. Itching to explore more of the demon. HANNYA
