Everything had suddenly come crashing down on Kitty. The realization that this curse was going to stick with her until she took her final breath. This was her life now, and she was beginning to spiral as she allowed reality to set in. She had been living in a fantasy world before, just brushing the problem aside, pretending it was just temporary and everything would go back to normal soon. Things changed a few weeks ago in the underground club; she lost control for the first time. As a result, she had been locking herself away, only attending band practice and class. She did not want to put herself in a situation where she could lose control. It was late afternoon, and Kitty sat on a wall near the cemetery close to Mystic Falls. It was quiet with only a few people paying their respects to the dead. She needed to be away from Whitmore campus, and somewhere no one was going to bother her. People tended to mind their own business at cemeteries. The impending full moon was having an impact too. She was agitated, restless, irritable. How was she going to cope with this for the rest of her life? What if she has kids? Will they be like her? How is she supposed to have a life with this curse lingering over her? The questions ran through her mind over and over. Kitty was beginning to think her being bitten had wholly her life, and she had no idea where to turn. Her sisters could not sympathize with her, and there was no induction pack to this shit. There was someone she could contact, though. Kit. The hot werewolf bartender. Though she had only exchanged a few words with the older wolf, but she got the vibe he was not the type of person to help baby wolves. She could have misread him entirely, though. Kitty could not decide whether her current emotional state was due to the full moon or whether she was having a mid-life crisis at 19. Either way, she bit the bullet and text Kit. It took her a while to compose the message without sounding needy or imposing herself on him. "Hey, if you're free, could you come to the cemetery? Having a mini wolf meltdown, p.s. It's the Asian pirate chick" He may have never saved her number. Kitty was looking for someone who could reassure her, someone who understood where she was coming from. She was not even sure Kit was the right person to turn to, and for all, she knew he could be totally out of control with his wolf tendencies. As soon as she hit sent on that text, she felt like an idiot, like she had just exposed herself as weak. She was never one to fall back on people for support. Kitty tapped her phone on her leg, anxiously awaiting the other wolf's response. After a minute or two, she unlocked her phone. "It's okay if you're busy btw, I can call someone else," That was a lie, but she didn't want Kit to feel like he had to go out of his way to see her. KIT CLARKE - meow

━ nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky ━ Kit returned to work eventually. Frank wasn’t completely better, wouldn’t be for months, but Kit didn’t have to stay home with him every day anymore, at least. Life was starting its slow shift back to normal, though he still needed to take time off for the full moon. Usually, on days he had off, or when their schedules aligned, he’d spend all his time with Frank, distracting him with video games or beers on the back porch, doing all he could to be there for his best friend. He couldn’t tonight, though.
Now that he made the schedule, it was easier to ensure he could be off during the full moon━no need to worry about ‘hulking out’ during his shift, not that he’d ever been stupid enough to work on the night of a full moon.
Kit wandered through the woods, trying to find a good place to keep himself isolated. His phone buzzed in his pocket, assuming it was Frank before he’d even taken it out. It was Asian Pirate Chick, though━he’d saved her under that name. He didn’t think she’d contact him, or that he’d ever feel the need to respond. But she was looking for help, and while Kit didn’t want the responsibility of an apprentice pup, he couldn’t stop himself from relating. He’d been just as lost and alone when Magda provided that helping hand, giving information and tactics to allow him to keep control. This wolf, Kitty, had lashed out in public, nearly skewering some girl on her claws. Kit could sympathize with that, and even if he didn’t want to help, he knew that teaching her control would ensure nobody else had to get hurt━not only for their sake, but also for Kitty’s and the guilt that would surely come with it.
The second text came as he pondered his next move, steps stilling along the grass. He didn’t like the idea of being so easily replaceable, but it might’ve been a way to save face. Kit released a heavy sigh, texting her back quickly,
“A cemetery? Morbid as fuck.” And then sent another right after, “Coming.”
And he did, finding his way to the Mystic Falls Cemetery, and eventually to Kitty, standing over her with a lit smoke hanging from his fingers. He stuck his free hand in his jacket pocket, focusing on his anchor, that dull ache of the impending full moon buzzing beneath his skin. “Hey,” he mumbled, walking up and greeting Kitty with an upward nod. “This ain’t your first full moon, is it?” Blue eyes ticked up, over their surroundings, and then back to the younger wolf. “Picked a great place. What, figured it was easier if you killed somebody here, ‘cause you’d be close to the cemetery anyway?” The words held a weight she didn’t know about, a dry joke that left him, even if he was aware of how incredibly likely it was.

Kitty already had backup plans as soon as she hit send on the text to Kit. She could drive to Atlanta and seek our shelter in the woods close to the city. It had been a while since she left, so surely those hunters had moved on from there. Then there was the terrifying thought that she could hurt her sisters. At least in Mystic Falls, she was far enough away from her family. There was a chime from her phone. She quickly unlocked it and saw Kit's reply. He was coming, which was a relief, but then anxiety washed over the young wolf. Was she just being silly? Freaking out for nothing? She was in too deep to play it off as cool now. As she waited for Kit to arrive, she watched a young woman lay flowers on a grave in the distance, patting her tears away with a tissue. She couldn't remember the last time she had visited her mom's grave. Her grandmother went every Wednesday at 3pm. Laid fresh flowers down and made sure the headstone was clean. She would always invite the girls to join them, and sometimes Risa and Emica would join, but Kitty always said no. She'd rather live in a world of denial, and ignore the fact her mom is dead at the hands of her dad. Thankfully her attention was diverted away from the grieving woman, and towards Kit was approaching her. She remained sitting on the wall, "Hey," She said as he got closer. "This ain't your first full moon, is it?" Kitty shook her head, "Nah," Kit's eyes scanned the surrounding area. She chuckled at his comment, "I wanted to be somewhere no one was going to speak to me, or bother me, or even smile at me," She admitted, as she jumped down off the wall. "If I killed someone, I would throw their body in the river with a backpack full of rocks" She smiled to show she was joking. Whoever she had killed in Atlanta, she had left their body in the open, waiting to be found by the bypasser. "I... I dunno. I'm just having some kind of freak out" Kitty shrugged as she glanced down at the dirt below, kicking it with her black boots. "Is this me forever? A wolf?" She looked up at Kit, "Always having to watch my temper? Hiding out in the woods every full moon, scared I'm gonna wake up the next morning covered in blood? How the fuck am I supposed to live a normal life like this? What if I kill someone I love?" The wolf's voice was growing louder with each question she threw at Kit. The woman at the grave glanced over at the pair for a moment, "What are you looking?!" Kitty yelled at the stranger, who quickly turned away and returned to paying her respects. ━ nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky ━ ‘If I killed someone, I would throw their body in the river with a backpack full of rocks.’
Kit went entirely still, tensing for only a millisecond before he mimicked her smile. She hadn’t meant to say anything wrong, had no idea what he’d been through, and Kit was the one to make the jokes about death in the first place. He couldn’t get angry at that, and so he let it slide off his back, a low chuckle coming from deep in his chest. He took another pull, fingers curled around the paper cylinder, masking his mouth as it fell back into a straight line.
Blue eyes ticked downwards as she hopped off the wall, following Kitty’s movements until they were up and scanning his surroundings again. He spotted the only bystander, watching her mourn over a tombstone decorated with a bouquet of flowers. He thought of Kace, life cut short by the hands that would shift into paws within a few short hours. He’d never gone to his brother’s grave, his hands cuffed before Kace was even in the ground. He was never allowed to go there, had no time to visit that plot in California before he was in prison. And, once he was let out, Kit raced off to Mystic Falls.
Even if travel was easy, Kit wasn’t sure if he’d go. Kamilla probably had Kace buried in some fucking fancy, gated cemetery with round-the-clock security, and Kit was positive his name would be on some sort of blacklist. He wouldn't expect anything less from her.
Finally, his eyes went back to Kitty, allowing his lungs to fill with smoke. It barely did anything when the full moon was so close, only habitual━if he didn’t start smoking, whether or not it physically affected him, his mind would be clouded with the need for it, and that alone would set him off. Pulling the smoke from his mouth, Kit held the breath in for a moment while he listened to her, arm dangling at his side once more.
Her questions were bleak, bringing on another wave of anger and pain, though Kit remained statue-like in front of her. He’d accepted the curse long ago, finding only ways to deal with it instead of wishing it weren’t there. Killing a loved one, however? That he’d never get over. His gaze moved over her head, angling the smoke upwards while he blew it away, drawing out the moment to give himself time to think. Before he could speak, though, mouth open and ready to spew some real intellectual shit, Kitty was snapping at the woman nearby.
He couldn’t help it. Kit doubled over a few inches and let the last few puffs of smoke punch out with his laughs, shaking his head lightly. It was genuine, more so than his original chuckle about the body dumped in the lake, but it came from a place that bordered on hysteria. “Jesus, leave the bitch alone,” The older werewolf mumbled, amused, before collecting himself and finding Kitty’s face once more.
“Yeah,” He started finally, another release of breath bringing a calm over him, settling back into that dulled feeling of discomfort. He wasn’t a fucking teacher, he couldn’t look after her, but nobody else needed to die because of a crazed werewolf that couldn’t handle themselves. “Yeah. You’re stuck like this forever. Full moons, watchin’ yourself, and… fuck, man, you might kill somebody close t’you. It ain’t fuckin’ uncommon. Didntcha haveta kill somebody to get like this?” Sometimes they were just born like that, Kit knew as much from Magda, but she wasn’t exactly the same as him. From what he’d gathered, it was more common for wolves to start the way he had━triggered by murder, if you could fucking call protecting your country that.
“Gotta learn control, though.” Kit sighed, swallowing thickly, and pushing away all his thoughts about the night he’d stabbed Kace. He thought of Magda instead, and all the things she’d taught him. “You got an anchor? Somethin’ t’latch onto, keep yourself from beating up chicks in nightclubs?” A gentle tease, a hopeful━maybe hopeless━way of bringing on a more mellow vibe.

Once the questions started flowing, she couldn't stop, as though they had been festering inside of Kitty for a year. Kit struck her as the type of person, to be honest about shit like this too; part of her was hoping he could empathize too. Understand where she was coming from. Of course, she had so many more questions to throw, but that was all her mind could conjure. The women nearby didn't deserve the back end of Kitty's ramblings either, but that red mist was in front of her. She took a sharp intake of oxygen, reminding herself it wasn't the woman's fault she was in this situation. Why the fuck did she come to a cemetery? People were trying to mourn the loss of their loved ones; they didn't need a stranger yelling abuse at them. It was alien to Kitty. She had always been a bit feisty but never violent and certainly never yelled at strangers for looking at her or pushing random girls in nightmares. Rewind 12 months, and she would have smiled at the grieving woman, even said hello. She didn't like this new version of her, scared she has lost that old version of herself forever. But Kit confirmed what Kitty feared all along. She sighed quietly, closing her right eye, pressing her temples with her fingertips. This was permanent, and yes, she might kill someone she loves, but it was all part and parcel of being a werewolf. That is what she was getting from Kit. She dropped her hands and opened her eye again. It was clear the other wolf had accepted his fate, but Kitty was struggling. It was unfair she was stuck with this affliction; she was just trying to enjoy a night camping with her sisters. "Didntcha haveta kill somebody to get like this?"Kitty's gaze shot over at Kit, "What? No? I was bit by a wolf" Well, that had never been confirmed, but by deductive reasoning, it had to have been a wolf. She was bit, then the next full moon, she was running around on all fours. "Did you?" She asked in a low voice but already knowing the answer. Clearly, she needed to learn control. She hadn't called Kit out for him to tell her what she already knew, but looking for reassurance and so far, Kit had provided nothing, instead, he was heightening her worries. Her sisters would have been more comforting than this, but perhaps that was what she needed— the cold hard truth. It was a secret she needed to carry to the grave. Kitty hated keeping secrets from people. An anchor, though? That was something new. She laughed lightly at his joke before shaking her head, "What'd you mean an anchor?" She knew it was a huge thing that people would throw off the side of a boat, but that was about it. Kitty assumed he wasn't talking about a real anchor, but she wouldn't be surprised at this point. ━ nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky ━ Bitten? Kit’s brows furrowed at her, confused at the statement━Magda had surely mentioned each type of them, and told him about packs. Werewolves had packs, Alphas led them and could bite people to turn them into werewolves. He’d just never encountered it before, figured they were somewhat rare. “Then why don’t you have a pack?” Kit asked, assuming that if she did have one, they’d be teaching this kind of shit to her.
‘Did you?’
He sighed, nodding twice. His PTSD didn’t activate at the mere mention of the army, but it always made him think of Kace. He hadn’t been the death to trigger it, but if Kit could heal from anything, then… why was his mind still fucked up from this? “I was in the US Special Forces. Y’know, before I started serving cocktails to kids who look like they should still be in fuckin’ diapers.” Mind plagued by the images of it, poisoned by what’d happened to him. “Finally saw some action on the field and then the next full moon…” He trailed off, making a clicking noise with his tongue and shrugging as if it were no big deal━as if it hadn’t led to his fucking life falling apart.
“S’basically what you think of when you think ‘anchor’. Keeps ya grounded, makes you not freak out so bad during the full moon or when you get pissed off.” He was thankful to change the subject, didn’t want to talk more about the things that kept him awake at night, lurking in the darkness of his mind. “It can be someone you love or somethin’ that makes you really fuckin’ angry. But it’s gotta be personal to you,” He stuck the smoke in his mouth, inhaling deeply, and then trying to talk while he held the smoke in his lungs. “No trivial shit. Like, a parent that beat ya or somethin’.”
Kit snorted like it was funny, letting the thick cloud of smoke bellow out into the air. “Heavy shit. You got anythin’ like that?” He asked, holding out the smoke in a wordless offer.

So packs were a thing, they existed. Kitty and her sisters had read about them but weren’t sure if they actually existed or whether it was just a myth, “Well, it’s not a thing you see advertised on Craigslist” She paused for a moment, “I would have no idea how to find a pack either. Do you have a pack?” Kit struck her as a lone wolf. She didn’t feel like she wanted to be part of a pack either, and what if they didn’t want her or she disappointed them somehow? It all sounded stressful. Kitty brows furrowed together as Kit explained he was in the army and he’d killed someone, “Right...” Her voice too trailed off. She had no idea that someone could become a werewolf by killing someone, but she sensed Kit didn’t want to talk about it that much, so she didn’t push the subject. It could be a question for another day. Perhaps. She understood that something like that was bound to affect a person, leaving behind mental scars. The other wolf pushed the conversation on though, which she too was thankful for. She didn’t want to bring up any uncomfortable memories for Kit, just because she was curious. Again, Kitty’s brows knitted together as Kit went on to explain what an anchor was. Something or someone personal to you. Immediately her sisters and grandmother jumped to mind, they were the people she loved the most. But something that made her angry? She shook her head at Kit’s offer of the joint, “Ah yes” She spoke, as though she had just come to a realization, “My dad killed my mom when I was a kid. but…” She felt quiet, as she fell into thought. It wasn’t something that particularly made her angry though, partly because she never thought about it. It was buried deep in a little box somewhere in her memories, never to be opened. In order to use that as an anchor would mean she would have to face the trauma. Was it worth it just to have control? “Does it work? Because if I’m being honest I’m not ready to unpack some childhood trauma if it doesn’t help me”
Perhaps she should just use her sisters and grandmother, giving her the chance to push aside the unopened wound for another few years. KIT CLARKE

━ nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky ━ ‘Well, it’s not a thing you see advertised on Craigslist.’
Kit snorted, rolling his eyes at her. “Oh, shit, really?” He grumbled sarcastically, though there was a ghost of a smile at the edges of his lips, playing there for a moment while he shook his head. “Just meant… wouldn’t the dude that bit ya be your Alpha? Like, he didn’t bring you into his pack or some shit? Just let you go?” It didn’t make sense to Kit. Why would you make somebody go through a complete change of species and then turn your back on them? Leaving Kit to teach her everything she should’ve known? He’d never felt luckier for Katja than at that very moment… well, his first change was a close second.
“Nah, I don’t have a pack.” But he didn’t get turned in the same way as her, so it was different. And while Kit didn’t have a pack of werewolves around him, he wasn’t alone. He had Frank. He… always had Frank. And maybe Kitty now, too, though he didn’t want the responsibility of looking after a new puppy. That wasn’t his job━even if her Alpha abandoned her.
‘My dad killed my mom when I was a kid. but…’
Kit raised his brows. That was some heavy shit, and he almost felt bad for laughing, but then decided not to bother. He could’ve never known, and Kitty told him anyway, so she obviously wasn’t too pressed about sharing the secret. Shifting awkwardly, he was quiet for a moment, waiting for her to continue, before continuing to speak.
“Damn, that’s heavy.” He mumbled, then added with a nod, “Uh, yeah. Should work.” Kit couldn’t relate completely, but something like that would definitely work. Or it should’ve━it wasn’t like he had the rulebook on this. “So long as you can remember it personally. Like, what it did to ya and shit.” He cleared his throat before taking another drag, unsure of how to go about this, and the thick inhale of smoke gave him time to think before continuing. “Don’t gotta unpack it, just gotta think of it. Which… might end up bein’ the same thing if you ain’t careful.” It wasn’t exactly the case for Kit. He already blamed himself for Kace’s death (because it was his fault), and the memories met his PTSD in the middle and wrapped everything up in a nice ball of trauma. It was something he dealt with every day, though the various visits to a shrink hadn’t allowed him to process everything. Kitty would be fine. It might sting a bit, but she’d use it to her advantage. A little mental anguish was better than tearing up a whole town of people.
“How old were ya?” He asked, because if she was barely walking, then that really wouldn’t help. “Sorry. Ain’t askin’ to pry, just gotta know if its gonna help.” Kit sighed, “Did it… happen in front of you, or...?” Alright, maybe he was a little curious, but he didn’t want her sticking his nose into his business, so he wasn’t trying to push much further. Plus, the more they knew about each other, the closer they became, and, again, Kit didn’t want a werewolf hanging at his ankles.

Kitty cocked a brow, clearly confused by Kit’s questions. She had no idea who bit her. Whoever it was disappeared into the night before the pair could exchange details. So yeah, he just let her go but she thought that was normal. A smirk twitched on her face as she glanced over at the other wolf, “Presumptuous of you to say it was a dude. Girls can bite too, no?” She didn’t know if there was some unwritten rule somewhere that only males could be Alphas, but still she was joking. Her voice laced with light humour, “But nope. They just took a piece of me and fucked off into the woods. Never to be seen again… isn’t that what usually happens?” It was a relief to hear Kit wasn’t part of a pack either, “How come?” Still, she didn’t see the benefits of being part of a pack. She was happy being a lone wolf, for now. Plus she had Kit… perhaps? She couldn’t figure him out yet, whether he was happy to help or felt obliged to help. The man was difficult to read, but Kitty wasn’t the best at figuring people out. She watched as Kit shuffled awkwardly when Kitty told him about her dad. She didn’t care about sharing that part of her life with other people but hated the change in atmosphere when she brought it up. It made people feel uncomfortable, most of them not knowing what to say to her. Most of the time she brushed it off, quick to change the conversation for the other person's sake. But this was different. She was trying to find this anchor Kit was talking about. She nodded slowly as she listened to Kit, “But surely if I focus on something that makes me angry it’ll make me even angrier?” Unless the idea was to focus on the sadness and confusion she felt at the time. There were no traces of anger in her when she came home from school that day and found out what happened. The rage came later when all the pieces slotted into place in her mind. She sighed softly, “Well I’ve gotta unpack it at some point so…” Maybe this was the way. “I was only seven, but I remember it very clearly… but no I wasn’t there… I just came home from school one day to find my grandmother crying outside the house. My dad was being taken away by the cops and…” She paused for a moment, clearing her throat before swallowing hard, “They wheeled out one of those black body bags like you see on TV… I knew something bad had happened” Which was confirmed in the car journey to her grandmother’s house, when it was explained her dad had done something bad to her mom. She was old enough to understand what death was and what it meant. It meant that person was never coming back, “What is your anchor then?” If the pair were sharing deep memories, then she wanted to know Kit’s too. KIT CLARKE - cute kittens

━ nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky ━ ‘Presumptuous of you to say it was a dude. Girls can bite too, no?’
Kit chuckled, blue eyes trailing upwards, a slight shrug following. He wasn’t PC enough for this world but gave it to her anyway. Plus, he didn’t know if she was serious, and this wasn’t the time to launch into some debate about hierarchies that wouldn’t matter in the end. Sure, there were probably female Alphas, but Kit bet that they were few and far between.
And if she’d been left on her own, then maybe it was a chick Alpha. The idea had him snickering quietly into another inhale. And when the smoke drifted out from between his lips, he released the image along with it.
“Don’t like the politics.” Kit joked, a small grin on his face, “Nah, just never found one. My unit was kinda like my pack, ‘cept it was full of humans.” He chuckled, “Then after I got discharged... I dunno, there wasn’t anybody acceptin’ applications.” He didn’t feel lonely because of it. Frank was his pack, maybe Freyja now, too, and that was enough for him. And he wasn’t about to tell Kitty that he spent too much time in prison to go looking for one.
‘But surely if I focus on something that makes me angry it’ll make me even angrier?’
It was a good point, but not how it worked. He remembered wondering the same thing when Katja told him and always found something other than anger for his anchor. Initially, it had been his family, the thought of getting back to his siblings, but now he couldn’t conjure that up in his wildest dreams; it was too unattainable. “No, ‘cause it’s just supposedta be a distraction. If you’re focusin’ all your energy on one thing, you ain’t gonna have enough to give elsewhere.” He was paraphrasing Katja, but he still hoped it would help━even if Kit didn’t want to be helping.
He listened carefully to her story, trying to picture it in his mind. If she walked in on some sorta crime scene, like blood everywhere, even if there wasn’t a body, it would’ve worked. But her memory seemed a little too… soft for Kit’s standards, and the idea of telling her as much had his gut twisting up. He stayed quiet, waiting for her to get it all out, the air a little too melancholy for his liking. Usually, he’d crack a joke no matter the circumstances (even if inappropriate) but he knew now to keep his trap shut━he was trying to help a kid not tear the town apart.
‘What is your anchor then?’
She was probably looking for something gory, he thought. Something that would make both of them twist with discomfort or match hers━and Kit was sure the story of Kace would━but, unluckily for her, that wasn’t his anchor. And Kit was happy not to get into it. “My buddy from the army, he’s my roommate now. Just keeps me solid, ‘cause we’ve been there for each other through everythin’. He’s like an anchor all th’time, even when I ain’t a wolf.” Kit shifted where he was standing, finally finishing his smoke and flicking it away. “So, it doesn’t gotta be sad shit all the time. But it ain’t that simple, Frank and I seen a lotta shit together, so don’t just conjure up some kinda memory about you and your girlfriends gossipin’ about boys or some shit.”
Perhaps it was a little teasing, adding more edge, to work up to what he was about to say—like slowly thickening her skin through conversation. “But I dunno if your shit’s gonna work since you didn’t really see nothin’. You can try it, but it might be worth findin’ somethin’ else.” Kit didn’t expect Kitty to sulk away, complaining that he’d offended her, though he was delicate as possible. Talking about loss was shitty, to say the least, and he had enough of a refresher now with Frank losing Theo.

A smile lingered on her face at her gender joke, only saying it as it was clear Kit was the type of person who said unfavourable things at times. It amused her, like when he called an Asian pirate chick. Kitty was happy on the sidelines because if she found herself a pack then it would only drive home the reality even more. Forcing her to accept her fate. At least this way she could pretend there was a way out of the shit situation she’d found herself in. She was trying her best to push herself away from the fact she was a wolf, which was increasingly difficult on a full moon. A ball of rage stomping around campus all day until the following morning. It was the anger she hated the most. The increased healing and hearing was useful, but alongside all the perks she was a ticking time bomb, with little to no control over it. Even the breathing exercise she found online didn’t help. In through the nose, out through the mouth, until she lost momentum and ended up breathing heavily through her nose. She glanced over at Kit for a moment. He didn’t strike her as someone who practiced breathing exercise, as he stood smoking. Kitty nodded slowly to Kit’s explanation, even though it made zero sense to her, but then again he was the expert in all things wolf related. She had no option but to follow every word he said because everything she knew had been pulled from Google, thanks to her sisters. “Damn… my trauma ain’t traumatic enough” The young wolf smiled, aiming to bring a bit of lightness to the situation. She then sighed, “I have my sisters. They’ve been my anchor through all of this” She raised her hands to mimic quotation marks around anchor, “They’ve been there for me since day one… they use to drive me out to the woods every full moon and wait for me until the next day” She was forever grateful for her siblings. Neither of them ran away after that first moon and have tried everything they can to help Kitty. The sun had started to fade from the sky leaving behind an orange glow. The pair didn’t have long before their bones would snap and their skin would transform into fur. She glanced down at her boots for a moment, “Um, thanks for coming here and helping me calm down” Kitty looked back up, a sheepish smile on her face, “I’m gonna head out into the woods anyway. Feel free to join” Although she’d never actually experienced a full moon with another wolf before. She pushed her hands deep into her coat pocket as she set off towards the trees. KIT CLARKE - da end
