friends. A thousand years on earth should have garnered a vast network of friends. However, when your brother seems hell bent on destroying every single thing that displeases him in this world friends tend to be hard to come by. Perhaps beneficial acquaintances functions as a far better description.
enemies. Having a brother like Niklaus Mikaelson, being one of the most powerful beings on the planet, will certain guarantee few friends and numerous enemies. While Elijah is capable of making enemies on his own, most on his list are courtesy of his siblings and family name. No doubt with Niklaus returning to Mystic Falls to take the life of a doppelganger in his attempt to break the spell holding his wolf side in check this list will grow (perhaps even with the names of his own siblings as he works in that grey area between what his family desires and what Elijah’s conscience can live with).
family. Family has long been everything for Elijah. The death of not one, but two siblings, set his fate in place a thousand years ago and the vow he made to his brother and sister has guided almost every moment of his life since. So often Elijah has placed his family amongst every else, including his own happiness. Returning to Mystic Falls now, he finds himself torn between the family he has sworn allegiance to and his heart.
lovers. They have numbered many over the years. A heart is easy to give and love very easy to destroy, especially when your family seems hell bent on ensuring that your happiness will over ever exist in regards to theirs. In an Original’s life love interests tend to die all too frequently ... and return with an equal regularity. With all three Petrova doppelgangers in town Elijah has found his heart awakening once again.

OK, so I'm guessing he would come across her in some sort of compromising position - her having already fed from someone or being right in the middle of losing control. He could then do as Stefan has done, get her out of trouble, try to set her on the right path (without hurting bunnies. XD).

Aw, all these reunions for Elijah. He'll be practically tearful. XD I can see Elijah being glad to see his sister free after all this time. He'll probably imagine that after running into Niklaus Rebekah's coffin will be spirited away somewhere so he won't be able to get his hands on it and undagger her.
Calm Elijah will be glad to snap Rebekah out of her possibly destructive mood if he runs into her. I can totally picture him hissing warnings to her about the hunters around the town and the danger of drawing attention down on herself.

We didn't get the thread going at all so it'd be nice to get into a thread with Rebekah, especially as the ritual is coming up fast. Are you having Rebekah only just be free of her coffin? If so we could have a reunion thread between them. Elijah did try and free Rebekah after Henrik told him where Klaus was keeping the coffins. Klaus came upon him when he was opening it though and stopped him in his tracks.

 I'm not swamped at all. I think I've only actually got three or four threads going with him ( and I never have enough threads anywhere for my masochistic liking  ). I love your idea and would've jumped on it even if I had been drowning in posts. I've only ever threaded modern day Elijah. Getting to see him back then will be interesting. He would be very resistant to allowing her close at first but once he does, it would be fun to see him open up. It would all be for her own good that he didn't. A heart to heart would probably wring the most out of Elijah. |

Elijah would certainly be glad to help once he realises the new arrival isn't a threat. Everything with the Originals is a little on edge at the moment given what Niklaus has just done. Once he realises who Hayley is and what happened to her when she was younger I imagine Elijah will be glad to offer what assistance he can to try and help her track her family.

He's most definitely the most tolerant of the Mikaelsons and once he learns that Rory was a Quarter witch he'll be interested in finding out what's going on with them in New Orleans. *LOL* Him coming in to Rory's store or maybe she overhears someone talking about him in town while he's going about his business and Rory takes that as an opening?

Elijah's certainly not going to be happy that his brother is back. LOL He trailed Niklaus and Stefan when they left town, just to make sure Niklaus wasn't coming back to get some sort of retribution on those who were brought back after the ritual. The two of them meeting now is certainly going to end up being a little fiery. Elijah's going to want to protect Tatia from Niklaus at all costs. @rebekah
Elijah's going to be so delighted, two destructive siblings back in town at once. At least he's not angry at Rebekah like he is at Niklaus. Elijah's been staying in an apartment in town with Henrik while everything's been going on but if Niklaus and Rebekah have taken up residence, he could always come a-calling just to make sure they won't be tearing the town apart. |

I have a feeling there'll be some voices raised and some punches thrown. When Rissy played Niklaus Elijah tried to go and free Rebekah and was caught and knocked out by Niklaus. I don't imagine that's left them on the best of terms. Should we set this after Niklaus has seen Tatia or before? Would you like to start this one?
